That was good session; no mishaps and a great coalie for the shore. We’ve had a few big ones this year. Boulmer is lethal if you’re ever thinking about it. Cheers.
Well at least you didn't blank mate and got a bend in the rod 🎣 💪🏻There's definitely a better stamp of coalies about this year and they give a half decent scrap on the wee lure rod 🎣 I had a few decent codling & Pollock down there on Saturday on the lures albeit i was on a sib 👍🏻 Regards Arnie
Another cracking video! I seen you Friday coming out the Bamburgh castle inn. Was going to give you a shout but you were in deep conversation with another fella

Well yesterday you met "Audrey ".😂 Great to see you and your pals. Dont forget the braid knot video . Skipper David would be over the moon to know where you bought the steak pies plz. Silver stinkers still count. Afternoon session got some lovely cod jigging sardine lure with the hook at the top.

Great video Dave, it's a strange mark beadnell point it's never very consistent, cracking coalie reminds me of the spring run in the Tyne from Fraser's that used to be the stamp of coalie, as long as you don't blank it's a good summer session, keep up the good work, tight lines.
Some nice Couple of Coalies there David, well done on another good video. You might like to check out the Spooligan Fishing channel episode 6 and 7 where there your channel is given complimentary mention.

What was the rod you were using David?? It looks quite stiff, which I like. I use an ancient century raptor which has lost a lot of backbone. But has caught some cracking fish over the years. Nice coalie. I got a really good one a couple of years back on the float. 6lb 4. Thought it was a decent Pollack at first. Old cliche, i'd left my phone in the car. So no photo. And only witness was a female dog walker who didn't have a clue of the species lol.
