Cracking channel, you make kayak sea fishing seem effortless and i got to say watching you enjoy it makes me enjoy watching, those who know, know its far from effortless on a lot of occasions sea fishing on a yak, so well in fella!! I'm a buddy up sea kayaker and only normally go out with my brother (less than I'd like as a case of timing for us both) only wish I had your confidence to solo and wish i lived in the northeast with that amazing cod rough ground, my fishing is mostly shore with my dad (bit older now my dad) so easy venues is our thing. I've started a tiny channel to have some editing fun and see where it takes me. All the best pal and again I LOVE THE VIDEOS!! ONE OF MY FAV CHANNEL'S ON TH-cam 👍👍👍(sorry for crazy long comment)
Thank you very much, I’m glad you’re enjoying the content. I’ve got big plans for the channel this year with the addition of the camper van! No kayak fishing isn’t always easy, in fact it’s never easy! But more often than not it’s absolutely worth it. Good luck with your channel and tight lines 👍🎣

Its been a while since your last video and I have missed them. Being a north east angler I know what the seas been like which has given me a cracking season from the beach and rocks this season. I can't wait to get my kayak back out, thanks for the inspiration, living in Teesside I am hoping to get further up north this year. Thanks for the vid.

Enjoyed the video Chris, helps keep us all sane whilst waiting for better weather! Do you have a favourite time/tide to launch? Do you prefer to launch on the back of the ebb and fish the flood to high? Many thanks
Not as a rule of thumb or anything when it comes to the fishing. You can catch at all states of the tide. Obviously some marks are too shallow at low water etc. I do time some trips to hitch a ride on the tide though. If my mark is two miles north for example then I’ll go out with a few hours of the ebb left and drift/fish down to the mark then hang about for the flood and fish it south back to the launch (It’s the opposite for the west of the country) Hope that helps 👍🎣
Always fun to watch. Would be interesting if you could add some GPS coordinates. Makes it easier for us to follow your route. Thanks for sharing mate 👍
Hi mate, glad you enjoyed it. I wouldn’t want to put the GPS up as that’s too easily shareable and could be an issue pressure wise -however if you’re in the area it’s easy enough to find the marks from the descriptions in the vids. I give a bit more info than most and am always willing to answer questions on here so if you want a bit more info just ask in the comments. Navionics is your friend here as well. Tight lines mate 👍
Hi, really good videos mate :)I'm based near Darlington and just about to get a new kayak. Could you recommend some good areas to try out? I'm not sure where to head first! Happy to drive anywhere decent. I will be heading up to Skye later on this summer and it would be nice to get some practise in around here first. Many thanks.
I’m glad you’re enjoying the content, Beadnell is an easy launch, it’s a canny drive from you but worth it in my opinion - be careful with the tide though it can race through there, stick to smaller tides until you get used to it/get your paddle fitness. Whitley bay is another good one a bit closer to you. Launch from the crazy golf or the skate park. The hill at the crazy golf requires a sturdy trolly mind. Tight lines 👍
Just been watching your video watched all of them now and I would like to know a little bit about your fishfinder and the set up you’ve got it I have the same one and cannot find any good information about setting it up I live in Teeside and I fished up Whitley Bay area where you seem to do a lot and I cannot get my fishfinder to do the same as yours is there any chance of a little rundown video on your fishfinder set up would be much appreciated by me thank you
