Hello David 👋 Really enjoyed watching as always buddy another quality video and thank you for showing us the ups and downs of fishing true honest fishing buddy. Well done on your fish which saves the blank looking forward to the next one tight lines David 👍 🎣
@@LevosAnglingAdventures thanks Levo mate very much appreciated 🙏 yeah we win some we lose some, all part of it. Thanks as ever for watching, hope you’re well and tight lines 👍🙋♂️
Another really well made video, I liked the drone shot when you were playing the first fish, something different to other you tube videos. Looking forward to the next one.
David I’ve found that when fishing rough ground less is usually best ie single hooks ,no clip downs or other unnecessary components. The cat hauling the pots is a Newbiggin boat berthed next to the lifeboat house and has hundreds of pots up and down the coast.
You’ve got the luck of a bald man who’s just won a comb! Still, the boat gave a good bite. 😂 Nice to meet you last week. Fortunately for me, the fishing was good out afloat so I didn’t have much chance to nod off though I was definitely flagging towards the end. Hopefully see you out there again when your luck improves. Cheers
Haha I certainly do Oli! 🤦 glad you got some good fishing in before that easterly picked up! Very good effort that mind! Bet you slept well that night! Good to meet you too👍 thanks for watching, tight lines 🙋♂️👍
Like a log. Just like a hangover it seems to take a few days to recover from. But just like a hangover, I never learn my lesson and repeat it all over again for the next week. 😂 Cheers
Cracking video Dave, it's been years for me the last time I fished the carrs, I never really bagged up from there only the odd fish, the pots are a nightmare but what can you do, I was at howick submarine hole Saturday had small kelpies and doggies, keep up the good work, tight lines.
Cracking video as usual ... I've got a theory on the lack of crab ...when they are peeling they just get hammered year on year ... But now people have cottoned on that hounds can be caught on hard backs as well especially down south where I live ...so the crab are now not having chance to recover ...I can see them becoming less and less in the future which will definitely have an effect on the fishing ..less crab will mean less fish or the fish will switch on to another bait ... Keep up the good work anyway
@@lunacy1971 thanks mate that’s interesting. Yeah if there’s more pressure for hard backs that’ll definitely impact the fishing. Thanks for watching and tight lines 🙋♂️
Hi david hope your well mate That looked hard going at one point when ya got caught on the pots🤦♂️av had fish on softies off that mark a few weeks ago but ya hard work paid off funny enough a nearly went there yesterday morning but took the route closer to home anyways hope ya had a nice time on the jars🍺🎣👌🏻👍🏻
Well that was a comedy of errors David, but it shows you that everthing cant be perfect all the time, but a great video again and thoroughly enjoyed, dont worry but WInter is Coming😊
Hi David, Great video as always. Can I ask what make of line you used there? I have been having trouble with my pullys not lasting very long. Often after a session the rig body ends up with loads of memory and I think thats causing a lot of snags, Plus it means I'm having to replace bits often. Cheers Ben
@@CoastlineFishing hi Ben, thanks very much. The line I use is Asso and Amnesia. Are you using a swivel as your pulley system by any chance? If so, have a go at the trident pulleys. Also, if you don’t already, run the rig body and Hook length through your hands to create a bit of heat. You should find that will straighten the line and help it to go limp, hopefully reducing tangles. Hope that helps.
@@fullcircleangling thanks David. Yes correct, I am using a swivel, maybe that is the cause?…. I used the first generation of the trident aero pulley but I have not tried the ones you have there with the little bearing, might give that a shot and see. Thanks for the tips on the line though, I’m look to try some of that. Buzzing for the winter season! Cheers Ben
@@CoastlineFishing could well be Ben. See how the new trident pulley treats you. Hopefully solves the problem. Also for rough ground fishing, don’t use the same rigs for more than one session, make new ones up every time👍
@@fullcircleangling just doing an order now to get rig making 👍🏼 thanks for the pointers. I’ll make sure to rotate them more often. Looking forward to the next video, cheers.
@@jaypickup9060 ah ok. Its served me well. I’ve had it 10 years and it’s bombproof. It loses time a little bit but that’s because I’ve never had it served (I really should!) thanks a lot, will do 👍
Bit of advice Dave, you've fished there before I know, you sure about 15 years? I remember an earlier vid from you I think, never been a good mark, at least for me.
