So she ends the fight with one of the most brutal verses.
This whole channel is criminally underrated. only 150k subscribers really? You really should be up there with some of the best rappers on this site. Your production values are consistently really high and your versus are great. You do animation and live-action raps which I can't say for most other people. Really happy to see the continued trend of DDLC battles going from normal PNG and AMV editing to full on Enzo animations. Jesse did not disappoint in their channel debut and Peachumari killed as expected. The homage to the Teen Titans theme was probably my favorite editing bit.
If you look closely at the cupcake wrappers Natsuki is holding, their the same colors as the teen titan’s souls when they got stolen by the puppet king. Neat little Easter egg. Nice work as always
Freshy yet to miss a DDLC battle. Jessebox was prefect as Natsuki, and Raven ending the battle with Nevermore was really clever. I think, video wise, this is the best DDLC battle. Can't wait for the Sayori battle, Great job Everyone

I'm impressed by how true to character they both are. Natsuki doesn't let up her veres are awesome . My favourite part though is how raven is so calm and collected and increasingly gets natsuki more agitated and aggressive.
I've watched this battle countless times, but my mind always comes back to the end of Natsuki's second verse. The ouija board to the final line about Raven playing with her boyfriend's feelings. It's just too powerful. This battle was extremely close, but Natsuki's energy and raw disrespect inches this one out for her imo.

Ok, as hard as Natsuki's verses went and the "Ouija Board" line was, I have to give this to Raven. Her rebuttals we're on point and she had lines that genuinely stung! This was basically a battle between disrespectful lines vs amazing setups and witty lines leading to haymakers! Also the animation was astounding and I definitely want to see more!
I totally agree. I think what sold it for me was the beginning of Raven's 2nd verse. Raven's rebuttals and punches stung more than Natsuki's, but tis a good battle nonetheless

Great battle, and I love that there is recurrent theme in the choreography with these DDLC battles, using the existing art for the first half and switching over to your own unique style. It's a small touch but really ties all these awesome battles together.

This is one of the best rap battles, what the heck! I dont want to be mean but lately I haven't been that impressed by the later ones. The flow, the lyrics the animation and props. I like how you show Raven's powers throughout the whole thing - that was cool. Raven's voice was also really good.
That was an insane battle ! I like how Natsuki keeps raising her voice as the battle goes on, while Raven remains calm and collected throughout the whole thing and contines rapping. I'm leaning toward Natsuki on this one but it's not set in stone. Great job !

This is a rap battle I never thought would’ve happened, but I’m glad it happened. But that Nevermore bar was tough! This was a really close rap battle, but I think Raven took it in the final verse. But this went HARD

But JesseBoxVO’s also sounds good and I’m glad the former could be part of this. But back to the main subject, I honestly thought Yuri and Natsuki won their respective Freshy Kanal rap battles. But hey, at least we both agree Harley Quinn won Monika vs. Harley Quinn.

Doesn’t mean she had a bad performance, it was still great, but imo, Natsuki had fewer flaws. But you do have good reasoning as to why you thought Raven won.
Great visuals, great voice acting, great beat, FRESHY YOU JUST NEVER MISS WITH THESE BATTLES. This one is yet another, BODY BAG. Natsuki tried to go for the TTG show (and let's be honest that's low hanging fruit at this point), and the mom bar may have been a hard DONNIE, but it lost a little bit of steam when she rementioned it in her 2nd. Raven came with a demeanor similar to Billie Eilish or Eleven and her 1st had the MOST disrespectful bar in the whole battle. Not to mention the rhyme schemes and visuals were outstanding. When her 2nd hit and she did her last line, I literally threw my Don DeMarco mic and said "BATTLE OVER". Because it was OVER.
I genuinely don’t like it when people say rap battles are a bodybag unless they actually are. Face it; this was close and while we can disagree Natsuki was the winner (also, disses on different aspects/parts of roughly the same topic are different from repeated disses).
Raven's lines were so savage. Not only did she come back hard each time, but her flow was so smooth and fast with the diction and the verbosity. Both rounds were a knockout! And the voice was perfect
@@lilzai38 I agree; fast flows can sound rushed and don’t work with every character. Audibility and enunciation matter as well, and going fast can disrupt these qualities (though this isn’t always the case).
U sure? I though Natsuki had fewer flaws (plus the extra two lines of Raven in round two were unnecessary. I know that the creator doesn’t often like equal line distributions, but I could’ve worked there; Raven could’ve not gone overtime for that round at least). Also, I noticed some “repeated disses” and ones that don’t hit as hard as others; if I were part of the writing process, I would go look at the DDLC+ side stories with Natsuki in them for a good fight. Specific disses to a character tend to hit harder, and this could have given Raven a better chance of winning. Also, “Raven crushed her with her last verse”, it literally (imo) had the fewest amount of Don DeMarco worthy lines, with about 4-5 (compared to the previous three verses, which have 12, 9-10, and 8 Don DeMarco’s respectively, though you may disagree with this if you’d like).

Here’s an idea for you: Mighty the Armadillo Vs Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. The connections: Both are forgotten characters that were planned to be major mascots for the franchise/company they were made by. They later regained their popularity because of a hit video game that came out in the 2010s decade. They’ve grown a pretty big fanbase ever since. They’ve also been making a comeback as of late 2022.

This is a rap battle I never thought would’ve happened, but I’m glad it happened. But that Nevermore bar was tough! This was a really close rap battle, but I think Raven took it in the final verse. But this went HARD

Always love the DDLC battles, and it’s cool you guys keep the pattern of using sprites first then switching to animation for the second verses, great detail and style.
The difference between Raven being calm and collected due cause her entire personality determines the fate of the multiverse meanwhile Natsuki gets unhinged over being rejected is just hilarious.
Dang; I did not expect Raven’s verses to go hard with that post-grunge/nu-metal vibe.
Both of them did very well but I think Natsuki's lines were underrated.

But back to the main subject, I honestly thought Yuri and Natsuki won their respective Freshy Kanal rap battles. But hey, at least we both agree Harley Quinn won Monika vs. Harley Quinn.

Doesn’t mean she had a bad performance, it was still great, but imo, Natsuki had fewer flaws. But you do have good reasoning as to why you thought Raven won.

Great visuals, great voice acting, great beat, FRESHY YOU JUST NEVER MISS WITH THESE BATTLES. This one is yet another, BODY BAG. Natsuki tried to go for the TTG show (and let's be honest that's low hanging fruit at this point), and the mom bar may have been a hard DONNIE, but it lost a little bit of steam when she rementioned it in her 2nd. Raven came with a demeanor similar to Billie Eilish or Eleven and her 1st had the MOST disrespectful bar in the whole battle. Not to mention the rhyme schemes and visuals were outstanding. When her 2nd hit and she did her last line, I literally threw my Don DeMarco mic and said "BATTLE OVER". Because it was OVER.
I genuinely don’t like it when people say rap battles are a bodybag unless they actually are. Face it; this was close and while we can disagree Natsuki was the winner (also, disses on different aspects/parts of roughly the same topic are different from repeated disses).

Raven's lines were so savage. Not only did she come back hard each time, but her flow was so smooth and fast with the diction and the verbosity. Both rounds were a knockout! And the voice was perfect

@@lilzai38 I agree; fast flows can sound rushed and don’t work with every character. Audibility and enunciation matter as well, and going fast can disrupt these qualities (though this isn’t always the case).
I honestly was kinda thinking Natsuki was gonna win easily but Raven crushed her with her last verse
U sure? I though Natsuki had fewer flaws (plus the extra two lines of Raven in round two were unnecessary. I know that the creator doesn’t often like equal line distributions, but I could’ve worked there; Raven could’ve not gone overtime for that round at least). Also, I noticed some “repeated disses” and ones that don’t hit as hard as others; if I were part of the writing process, I would go look at the DDLC+ side stories with Natsuki in them for a good fight. Specific disses to a character tend to hit harder, and this could have given Raven a better chance of winning.
Also, “Raven crushed her with her last verse”, it literally (imo) had the fewest amount of Don DeMarco worthy lines, with about 4-5 (compared to the previous three verses, which have 12, 9-10, and 8 Don DeMarco’s respectively, though you may disagree with this if you’d like).

This rap battle felt like the ultimate preppy, mean girl vs the class bad a$$ everyone is scared of talking to or fighting. It's also the only fictional rap battle where both sides were so good it felt like a tie.

Here’s an idea for you: Mighty the Armadillo Vs Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. The connections: Both are forgotten characters that were planned to be major mascots for the franchise/company they were made by. They later regained their popularity because of a hit video game that came out in the 2010s decade. They’ve grown a pretty big fanbase ever since. They’ve also been making a comeback as of late 2022.
