@@maxzoloproductionso it is a reference to the Maleficent movie, where the King Stephen as a child was friends with Maleficent who was a fair, he later left her as they got older, and clipped her of her wings, during the movie, Maleficent was played by Angelina Jolie, which sounds like “Julie” like Juliet, also Romeo was a sort of prince figure as was Stephen (he used the clipped wings to ascend to the throne as proof he killed her)

Usually I prefer the faster raps, but I think the way Maleficent kept at a calm pace was so "I don't need to rap fast when my roasts so the work for me"

The Matilda reference, vision, & overall made it difficult for Wanda though when she eventually did become the Scarlet Witch, she came back hard. I'll need to listen again, I feel like I missed some things but Maleficent is getting my vote for now.

The constantly fluctuating tone and static effects when Wanda started gave her first verse a truly scary feel, like Happy Appy's first verse with the uncomfortable pausing. It's a shame she got stomped, but at least it wasn't completely one-sided, and what could you expect coming up against a dragon?
Also, when Maleficent starts building up and the thunder lines up with the beats of the music, like Wonder Woman's shield, it holds such an epic effect and feeling. Definitely a great battle.

Wanda did really good considering the fact that Maleficent only has 1 movie of material for Wanda to roast compared to Wanda’s appearance in 5 movies and a tv series for Maleficent to draw from.

Ok I know I've already commented, but I just realized Wanda's verses may be more cleverly written than we realize.
My theory is that they were written to reference WandaVision.
Her first and second verses are shorter but are also in monochrome, which references how for a short time WandaVision was in black and white.
Her second verse may be a reference to the random "commercials" the show would have, which is why she is advertising Red Bull.
And her final verse is the longest because it references how majority of the show was actually in color, and it also references the finale when she goes out with all of her power.
I'm not sure if any of this was intentional, but even if it isn't, this is still a really well written battle, and it's execution was flawless!

And when she said “Out of all the Folktale”, it flashed to Pied Piper in The Pied Piper Vs Saint Nicholas. But, when she said “So how are making me sleep?” It flashed to another character that I did recognise from any Freshy Kanal Rap Battle. Does anyone know who this is? Am I just dumb? Or maybe it is a hint to a Rap Battle in production.
