Put railings (NOT bars) up in the open spaces in the base so cop spit can't make it to you. You can fire through railings but they block zombie projectiles.
Or use scaffolding ladders.
Since when did basic railings stop cop spit? I know scaffolding does.
@@CeleWolf At least A21, perhaps earlier. It's worth noting that railings and bars are often confused with each other, but bars won't block zombie projectiles and you cannot repair through them whereas railings do block zombie projectiles (and player melee attacks but not player projectiles) and you can repair through them.

@@CeleWolf When one of our gaming group discovered this property by accident we tested the hell out of it. Horde base held up shockingly well using doubled upgraded railings back-to-back as outer walls.
We may both be thinking of different "railings," though, as the game has several variants with differing properties as well as appearance. The one I refer to has five verticals and two horizontals, the verticals are square and not round, and its hitbox is skin/surface and not bounding box.
I think the corner sand blocks preventing the zed from using the ladders. I had a similar problem and simply having the ladders one block over solved it. ;)
I have a similar base for my bomb's build. Only changes I did is the pit goes to bedrock, the "connections" are actually Jawoodle's wedge tip corridor droppers, and I'm 3 blocks below the surface with "a ladder directly to me. I have a ladder up but it's a broken path ladder. (I replace a couple of ladder blocks with "broken" ladder blocks. It works great.

Suspension Bases are awesome as they are 'suspended' or 'hanging' like some bridges. Interesting design, very creative! I love it! :D

Easy way to improve this base and greatly reduce cop spit. Use blocks zombies avoid to create a sort of forcefield that with force all the zombies to approach from just one side. Then make the other 3 sides solid blocks that cops can't see through. Reduces spit and makes it easier to get the zombies in one area to kill them.
that scaffolding ladder you have for your centerpiece also blocks cop spit. FYI.
Hey yo. This is my first time on your channel. Nice build but WAYYYYY better music. Took me a second to realize it was a custom song and not just an older one. The second one just started and it also sounds awesome. Take a sub friend. Have to ask, did you compose these songs?

i despise the rails so much after having scaffolding ladders rotated to allow more melee/view while i found the double pole block is even better.

I don't understand why the Zs jump at you at the specific location. And what makes them think they can get to you?
I like the supported look from an immersion standpoint. I'm going to run some stability tests today on a similar structure for a future build.
How far in the horde you think this will hold up for? In the 100s?
did you use a mod for alter physics ?
because it strange things didnt collpase , like 9:17 how the "dirt" can float like that ?
Nope no mods that effect physics, I explained why it floats in the video.
Can this go deeper? i was thinking of building a small crafting base where at the top and building another zombie cage under
I made one of these 6 or 8 months ago and it worked great, but i tried to make another in my current playthrough, and everything keeps collapsing. They must have changed something in the last update.

I've tried this base for about 6 days in game my floor don't float and I can't seem to get it to connect
And no luck as of today awesome build I'm just not capable of pulling it off

When it comes to throwing down explosives on the Zombies.
What you need are the impact grenades.
Oh no you don't want Impact grenades in this base... 1 wrong move throwing the grenade in the hole and boom you dead.
@@ReachGamingtrue but you showed it's possible to get them down the hole plus you mentioned the same thing with the molotovs.
So it's a risk either way.
Besides impact grenades minimises the chances of them climbing back up once they are down in the hole.
If you have a big horde, they will start smashing the support arms.

Or you can go to "CAUTIOUS PANCAKE" from which THIS design was copied.
Incorrect. This base was not copied by anyone. Stop that nonsense it's annoying when viewers go around blaming creators for copying others it's just not true....
