As a native Tennessean, I love the comical value of this. I must admit that I'm not a huge fan of much of the "typical" country music that would be on the radio in this day in age. With that being said I know exactly what you guys were going for quite well and I think you blew it out of the water.

Accent in the middle of the video, "Wait, where was THAT, earlier?!"
You done us proud, Bea. That was a solid Tennessee-ish accent.

This rig sounds very late 90’s country early 2000’s to me. Modern country has a lot of pop in it. Either way amazing video and the southern accents are amazing 😂😂😂 my dad is military and stationed in Europe and I’ve made it very clear that when I come over to visit we have to make the trip to Anderson’s!!!! And the Appalachian accent is derived from the Scottish and Irish accents of the people who settled there and, much later, created country music as we know it. There are a couple of things about that Nashville Tele that are not traditional. First off, it has noiseless pickups rather than regular single coils. Secondly, because of the Stat-like switching, you can't select the combination of bridge and neck pickups. It's a fabulous guitar, but those looking for classic sounds all the way around may want to consider going with two single coils.

Great episode haha and legit tones! I bought a Nashville Tele to start with then stripped the pickups out and put in Lollars instead to give it more of a fat/ big sound which is always the feeling I get when I listen to Keith Urban, Brothers Osborne etc!
Now you need to do a sound like Keith Urban 😉🤞
    Great job anyhow guys!

The Keeley comp is definitely a perfect choice. The tone you missed out on is the Nobels. Huge part of the Nashville sound, the inspiration for Paisley's drive and the GTO by J.Rockett. Also, massive reverb and a good delay.

      Nothing wrong with going easy...
I would go for the Nux Tape Core. It does a better job mimicing the Roland tape delay and has a built in reverb like the Roland.
It took me a lot of effort to get Brians sound wich is different from lots of other Rockabilly sounds. I use totally other pedals for my old school Rockabilly stuff.

their guitarist used a two pickup model Telecaster (specifically a 1953 model) a Fender Vibroking, a Nobels ODR1 with bass cut, a Wampler Ego Comp and a Wampler Doctor Delay
and for rhythm it was an Ibanez PF15 into a mixing desk

    • @widowmaker5544

it did sound great, but nothing like Ultimate Country Rig
their lead guitarist used a Fender 60's Telecaster and occasionally a Gretsch G5620 Baritone, Fender Hotrod Deluxe, MXR Dynacomp, Nobels ODR1 and the most essential part of his rig is the Wampler The Doctor delay which he gets his slapback tone with
their rhythm guitarist used a Martin D28 into the mixing desk.

In the middle of the video Rabea was doing a pretty spot on George W Bush impression lmao! Great playing as always and not a bad rig! I think a regular Tele or a Gretsch would've been a better choice and then you guys might've had room for some kind of slapback delay!
Some suggestions as always: Prince, Zappa, Derek Trucks, SOAD by busting, Grateful Dead/Ultimate Jam Band rig

Should have used a classic vibe, it's just as good as that Nashville and much cheaper. You could have then gotten any amp and pedal combo you wanted. At any rate it sounded good. Not sure I liked the Alvarez at all but loved the amp.

  • @jaredplant3729

The Aria sounds great. I think you could have saved a little bit by going with the MXR DynaComp and Nobels ODR mini, and spend the extra on a little tape delay for slapback.
