Have now made this gorgeous cocktail. The banana and the Agricole work beautifully together. There is a richness and luxurious feel to the drink. Cinnamon in the background with the rums punching through. This is desperately morish, and a winner for me.
A BREATHTAKING cocktail, I used 2 cl of Paranubes + 1 cl white Rum instead of Rhum Agricol + Paranubes. Because I don’t have Rhum fire I used plantation overproof. This cocktail overwhelmed me, important to have the funkiness of the Rum and then it’s one of the most balanced cocktails. Absolut true - No other banana daiquiri comes close. Alone for this you deserve 1 Mio subs.
Great drink! What a fun way to play with some wild white rums. I made mine with a barspoon of Tso'ok, then used Wray & Neph overproof and A1710 Bete A Feu.
Guess I need to find some Paranubes... just experimenting on my own with banana liquor (tempus fugit) I also came to the conclusion that it works best with rhum agricole
Hello, this is a great amazing banana daiquiri version I will give a try,but what ist paranubes? Do you mean something with paranuts? Cheers again.Christian
Long time subscriber, love the channel & recipes, but....your background music is also bangin'...Can you please list the track selections going forward? OTE - Sea Lion.
The other song in this one is Strolling with You - John Runedelt. Usually I don't know/remember the name of the songs but all of them are either from Epidemic Sound or Artlist and all "Shazamable"
Depends on your bar spoon and the manufacturer, but since there's no agreed upon voulme they can range from 3-7ml. Follow Dave Arnold and he says 4, Trader Vic says a bar spoon is 1 teaspoon and old RonRico guides say they're 1/2 teaspoon. It's why I don't use bar spoons and instead use teaspoons
@@makeanddrink Well, exactly that. The style that got popular with Cocktail Kingdom 10-15 years ago certainly isn’t 5ml. I use a set of measuring spoons instead. They’re great. Half teaspoons, 1/8 of ounces.
I may have had some extra juicy limes, but I think the next time I make this I'll dial the lime back to 1/2oz. Still delicious though. Will add this to the summer repertoire.
Fantastic drink, even better drank at the Pagan Idol. Fantastic video as well, as always

Any suggestions for a paranubes substitute?
I'd just skip it (not really mandatory)
@@makeanddrinknoted! Thanks!
I’d never make you drink a crappy Mai Tai. 😅
Yup, amazing drink. One of the only banana drinks from Minimalist Tiki that actually tastes like banana.

It's just a specific Mexican rum.
What’s the name of the bottle you use to store your syrups? I have seen Steve the Bartender use them in his videos but not sure who makes them.
It's the "Chubby Bottle" from Crew Supply. The bottom unscrews for easy cleaning, they're great
@@epicinator97 awesome thanks for the info
I’ve been wanting to add a banana cocktail to my repertoire, looks like I’m gonna have to make the trip to K&L to get some Paranubes…
So good!! It’s still served at Zombie Village today
Rum be for sharing!
Had this at Zombie Village a couple of years ago and loved it!
I have no idea how this ended up in my feed. Drink looks great, but I don't have $200 to spend on liquor to make it, lol.

Had to google what Paranubes is. Most likely not available here in Europe. Have to change it to some non-mexican rum.
Worth noting that most barspoons are not, in fact 5ml, but about 3.
