@@TheSpiritoftheCocktail TIM!!!!!! Hey friend!!! Happy Thursday right back to you!! It's so awesome to see your message here!! Yay!! Made my day!! Cheers TIM!!!!!! Lol!!

Holy cow this is inspired. Ham86 and absinthe both SING banana to me, but the ramazotti and proofing down are careful considerations for tasteful maximizing without being tiki-maximalist. Nevertheless, this might get me to finally buy some Pectinex to make a banana Jamaican rum to play at these flavors from that angle. Always inspiring me to commit to new projects, Pete!
Oh my. I made this and it was really good. To me this reads tiki more than daiquiri with the depth and complexity. I made some substitutions (Real McCoy 5, homemade banana liqueur, Averna) so it could have been different than your version. A wonderful complex, lower ABV, tropical drink.
I suspect great evolution and complexity in this one. One way to find out and that is to make it. A cherry 🍒 video would be interesting. Wonder how it will conclude. I’ve been over many cherries and there are quite a few good options out there.
@@UnclePete it depends. I like woodfords being bourbon based, filthy cherries seem to be popular and can come with the stem still on, Jack Rudy are another that are bourbon and with stem.
No rules! I'm wondering if something crazy like rum fire with the hints of raisiny banana could work; just a little of course, like maybe a spritz. And yes to cherries.
Yes please on the cherry tasting video!
Heard Chef!
This sounds great! On the list to make!
I’m def up for a “cherry taste off”!
Excallent! Cherry taste test is on the list!
going to try this over the holidays, fun and whimsical ! now I need to go study your banana liqueur video.
Have fun! It is a really good banana daiquiri!
Definitely adding this to my "to-try" list
It rules!
Yummm!! Very nice Pete!! I know what I want for Christmas!! Happy Ho Ho!! Cheers! 🙂
CHRISTINE!!!! Happy Thursday to you!!!
Ho Ho indeed!

Can confirm, this is def the best Banana Daiquiri on this or any planet 🍌🍹
LOL Thanks Pilar!
Absolutely do the cherry taste-off. You should consider doing olives, too. Thanks!
Oh olives might be fun! I have less of a taste for olives, but that is a great idea!
This is bananas and you had me at Absinthe! But seriously, now I need to make it. Thanks for the vid!
You got it bud! I subscribed to you r channel, some tasty looking videos there!

Right on! Banana rum sounds like a fertile avenue of exploration! I say try it!
Definitely do a cherry taste-off. I don't want to spend $24 on a jar of Luxardo anymore.
Right on! Stay tuned!

Oh Cool!!! RM5 isa great move, and Averna should work fine! I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
Ok, what is “banana bunch”?

I have 3 jars of cherries so far. 2 amerena and the luxardo. I’m thinking of bada bing, any others I’m missing?

Mission: accomplished!
See you next time!

Of course a little funk is always welcome! A spritz is probably the right amount, so as not to overwhelm. Cheers!
@@UnclePete I have a friend that used to spritz wray & nephew as cologne. Probably cheaper than most cologne marketed as such and definitely better.
I know people who use a spritz of absinthe as a breath freshener!
@@UnclePete these sound like good people
Very much in favor of the cherry taste off. Picked up some Amarena cherries at TJs which they have finally brought back!
Amerena is my go to, but there are other options to explore!
I'd be interested in a cherry taste-off!
excellent! I'm gathering cherries!
yeah, are those damn $25 jars of cherries worth it? I mean, they're dark but really?!
The answer might surprise you! 😉
