15 Mistakes You Missed In Encanto

- Disney’s Encanto follows the Madrigal family who were bestowed the gift of the miracle in order to protect their town and keep their family safe. Every Madrigal family member receives a door and a gift from the miracle, except Mirabel. She’s the only Madrigal who wasn’t-bringing a lot of confusion to the head of the family Abuela. While everything turns out amazing in the end and the Madrigals band together to save the miracle and each other, we’re going to be focusing on something a little different today.
In this video we’re going to explore a little more of what went on behind the scenes of Encanto and picking out movie mistakes that were overlooked by the Disney movies editors.
From moving donuts, gift baskets changing direction and culture inaccuracies, it’s up to you to decide whether these movie mistakes were the product of editing errors or were intentionally included by editors and creators.
The bottom line is after watching this video you won’t be able to look at certain Encanto scenes the same again. What did you think of these movie mistakes? Abuela does have a gift. Her gift is doing the candle ceremony and giving the gifts to the other family members. That's also I believe what maribel's being set up to do, along with controlling Casita
Did you notice that at 7:57 when Mirabel gets her doorknob and when the door shows picture of the family everyone except Dolores is happy.
1. When Mirabel was about to sing the first song, while answering to the kids she was just part of the amazing Madrigals, the picture on the wall was positioned at a low level, then it becomes very high afterwards.
2. When everyone was partying at Antonio's room, granny told everyone to take a picture and people were moving forward, then it ended up only the family members were in the photoshoot lol.
3. When Mirabel turned into The Flash, there's people still dancing and kids running around at the lobby in slow-mo, after Mirabel ran back to inform about the cracks, nobody was at the lobby anymore.
Did you notice that in 02:41 when mirabel reach out her hand the the doorknoob wasnt the same 😮
I kinda noticed a little goof in the Dos Oruguitas scene, not that this one's important or anything. Where was the backpack Pedro was carrying while he and Alma were fleeing their home? It was nowhere when Alma broke down crying after seeing Pedro get murdered, he wasn't wearing it during the very last moments of his life, and he couldn't have even put it on Alma because she had an armful of babies and a candle
Also the guy that grows a gut, in we don't talk about Bruno doesn't have one when he hands Mirabel the basket of stuff.
Why is abuela so hard on Miribel about not having a gift when she doesn’t have one herself

10 has been discussed, and I don't think it's a mistake. The pictures on the doors show each of them as far into the future as the magic is able to see, the point where the magic breaks and the miracle ends.
Then why isn't Antonios door picture older? I kinds wonder if he's going to die at a very young age

The reason the fish lady disappeared is because the people visible were those singing in the background and her section is short and followed by Delores' section.

They don't use imperial measurements, true. They also almost certainly wouldn't be speaking English. So the whole movie, including the measurements, would be translated for the benefit of the audience.
Also, those of us who do both use the metric system and speak English still say things like "miles" and "inches" when we're being more poetical than precise.

I think you are grasping at straws here. The only one I might consider a mistake is the missing doorknob (5:37). Everything else seems to be for the purpose of... you know, making a movie. Things are gonna be shown from the best angle without having to make characters fumble to turn it (like the gift basket, or even the donkeys changing positions). The priest robes and measurements are for the convenience of the watcher, etc etc.
I don't think anyone has noticed this but look carefully at Mirabel and Antonio when they touch the candle and then their doorknobs. When Mirabel touched the candle she whipped her hand on her dress and the door disappeared while Antonio just touched the candle and then straight to his doorknob.
That wasn't supposed to be the idea. Mirabel has sweaty palms throughout the movie. She's supposed to be the next head of the house. That's why she got the front door

13 The reason why those kids didnt know about Mirable being powerless is probably because of their young age. The kids is probably the same age as Antonio or a bit older which mean, they not born yet when Mirable gift ceremony went wrong, and who knows their parents might decided to keep quite about Mirable because they respect Abuela.
The reason why mirabel doesn’t have a gift is because after she touched the candle, she wiped her hands on her dress

They say that her party of getting her gift was last year but she was a kid and now she's a teen or idk how did 1 year pass by?

I remember them saying LAST gift ceremony, meaning hers, but not LAST year

Actually Dolores section and others that u think was a mistake actually are not like Antonio's door if u read the Twitter comment they posted or a theorist theories about this then u will understand y am not good at explaining
