Great real adventure. Congratulations for the success as planned. Do as much as you possibly can in the great Southern NZ mountains and wherever else in the World. Life is short. I know it in reality. I am now 80 years old and re member, with pleasure my 5 months climbing season in NZ way back in 1971. I wish you alll a great life.
I never understood the ultralight tent (for mountaineering) idea. Like I’d rather suffer carrying something like a Hilleberg than die from a storm at night😂😅
Having watched a fair few youtube outdoor films this really stands out as a total breath of fresh air. The filming, the attention to detail, composition, production and music but mainly the story telling and the gentle characters. Loved it - keep it up :)

I climbed Newton and a bunch of others in the 90s. Came in via Rakaia and went out via Godley. Good on ya boys!!

That was unbelievable. The guys were so relaxed in that environment.
Wow guys! Extreme weather for a pole tent! Well done!
Props to the cameraman. Some epic shots, especially on the day 2 climb.
Awesome trip, man. Coming up through that icefall-ish section looks a bit scary.

Outstanding film - loved it all. Stories were great. What is the title of that song that starts at 21:22 - the score to this whole film was fantastic
Cheers! That song is Palindrome by Tony Petersen
Awesome video boys, I wish I was your age again
Cheers!
Hey I was wondering what camera gear you used
For this trip I used a mix of my GH5 and a Gopro 8
E P I C!
Have you done Aoraki?
Not yet, it’s on my list!
@@nick_kowalski_film Looking forward to it!
Hyperlite isn’t the best choice 😂 I’d probably still carry a BD tent even it’s heavier 😂
