    Very nice. It is funny how people are scared of spacers. I do not get it. It can make a complete difference in how the car looks

    What size of wheel spacers did you get? I have the five's. I didn't hear it in the video. I had to use them because I'm running 5th gen wheels on my 6th gen and it looks perfect now

    • @OnlinecarshowNet1

      Went with the 3mm. My buddy has 5mm on his 6th gen. They work perfect on his z28 wheels too

    Are you running any spacers In the front and if you are how much?

    • @OnlinecarshowNet1
      @OnlinecarshowNet1  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I didn’t run the front spacers but knew plenty who did. Legally speaking I can’t recommend you to do either size to your car. But I’ll put it this way... I know plenty of Camaro guys/gals that are running both spacer sizes in front without issues... as long as tires don’t rub turning wheel

    I want to buy spacers for my 2017 Canaro Rs, the ones I can get are 1.5 inches , but I do like to run and tale corners fast, but I dont wanna die, what are the risks, pro and cons of spacer ?

    • @OnlinecarshowNet1
      @OnlinecarshowNet1  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well additional length stresses suspension and axles. Also risk of breaking mid corner. Pros really is just looks.

      I like the looks more and more to be honest. Especially since adding rocker panels. I will say all the double sided tape eventually wore off and over time I replaced all with goop and it’s still holding strong.

    I have a 2018 honda pilot and the wheels made with the car are like under the car if you get what i mean, they dont balance out on the truck like i would like....so my question is should i use wheel spaacers or do i need wider more sportier tires to balance out the look of the truck.....thx in advance for your answer and advice....you can look at any video on youtube on how the 2018 pilot looks with the wheel base under the car and you'll see what i mean

    • @OnlinecarshowNet1
      @OnlinecarshowNet1  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Depends on how much your needing. 3mm on camaro in rear flushed me but I know people that went 5mm. I wouldn’t go beyond that. After going beyond that is safer to replace wheels and change the offset from stock

    • @OnlinecarshowNet1
      @OnlinecarshowNet1  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Do you race with them?

  • @countershader9240
    @countershader9240 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Well I do believe the zl11le already is spaced in the front and they race it as long as you don't go over six you can race with those if you have 7 to 10 turns you're fine on the lug bolts

  • @mrobesemode

    What if I put 5mm in the front and 3mm in the rear ? I have the stock setup that are on the 2018 LS models with the 245’s and the 18” wheels, is it still safe ?

    • @OnlinecarshowNet1
      @OnlinecarshowNet1  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would think you’d want that setup flip flopped to get rear tires more even with front. I can’t really say it’s safe because that opens me up to legalities. I can say no one has had issues I know of with 5mm or 3mm. I know plenty of cars with them and no one has ever said they have a problem. Hope that answers the question.

    Did you say "be sure to put your lug nuts on extra tight"..!!?? How about just the lug nuts on to factory specs.

    • @OnlinecarshowNet1
      @OnlinecarshowNet1  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I know what your saying and I should have used a torque wrench. I used to bust tires for Super Shops in High School and College so I can appreciate what you are saying. Over tightening can damage lugs. I just was trying to emphasize you want to be extra sure you have them on tight with no lose bolts using a wheel spacer. I stopped using wheel spacers altogether now though. Heard too many horror stories related to them. Thanks for your input and Ill try to at least explain in the future, to get perfect use a torque wrench and recommended lug torque for your vehicle.

    • @OnlinecarshowNet1
      @OnlinecarshowNet1  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah especially with camaro. Some reason the lugs have 3-4 more turns with camaro over corvettes anyways. Corvette 5mm probably be sketchy but on camaro it’s totally fine.
