TKA’s Smith Family Conservatory of the Arts, a two-time American High School Theatre Festival award-winning fine arts program recently produced "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" and is led by Mr. David Snyder (Artistic Director, Musical Theater, Department Chair), Mr. Nathaniel Adams (Director of Vocal Arts), Mrs. Cathy Higgins (Director of Dance- Ballet, Tap, Modern and Jazz), Mr. Douglas Gawriljuk (Dance- Ballet and Modern), Mrs. Heidi Martin (Theatre Arts), Mr. Brad Majzner (Stagecraft & Technical Director), Mr. Wes Lowe (Director of Instrumental Arts), Mrs. Stephenie Grasso (Instrumental Arts) Mr. Patrick Clifford (Instrumental Arts Strings), Mr. Austin Parenti (Media Arts Director), Mrs. Mary McCarty (Media Arts), Mrs. Laura McFaden (Visual Art), Mrs. Virginia Nucci (Visual Arts), and Mrs. Robin Phillips (Instrumental Arts Piano).

I thought he should have played Clopin, that would have given him more fervour ... Then I realized he actually sang his part! :D At least from the movie! :D
absolutelly.. But I must say, they are all so talented, that it's difficult to say who is my favourite. I also really like Frollo, Quasimodo, Father Dupin (even if he has only a very short scene at the beginning), Olivia Cornett (leading cathedrale statue).

the tavern owner girl is a great actress and her voice is beautiful, I think she would have made an awesome Esmeralda as well
The singer in the light tan costume has stellar enunciation. The other performers are also impressive in their enunciation.
That random climb starting at 0:20 confused me but then his high belting was such a good payoff and I am HERE 👏 FOR 👏 IT 👏 and how I will be singing that part of this song from now on
I thought that climb was great. I was raised Catholic, and that sort of ascension in notes is something you hear A LOT in Catholic hymns. Usually it does just sort of peter out and start over again, but this dude took it straight to the promised land
They actually had a real torch of fire!! I hope the stage doesn't burn in the sanctuary scene of Esmeralda being burned at the stake.

Yes. And later this spring when the school does "Phantom of the Opera", I believe he'll be playing the title character.

This was the piece that got me into this musical because it NEVER. STOPS. BUILDING. The climax is beyond gorgeous and the counterpoint and everything. It will continue to be mh favorite song from this show

I loved everything about this video, from the monk's amazing voice (I recognised him - he was Jean Valjean in one of TKA's productions of Les Mis!), to Phoebus making his moral stand and refusing to carry out the order, to the overlapping voices at the end. This is exceptional and perfect, and to think that this is a high school production is unbelievable. 💯
I like how Frollo's outfit has changed from partly white to all black. An outward manifestation of the blackening of his soul.
This is my favorite number from this show and I was waiting eagerly for it to be uploaded!
I understand it's a high school version, but I dislike the censoring.

The only other thing that bothers me is the slower pace (fixed by putting it at 1.25x speed). Aside from those two things: perfection.
