The actor for Quasimodo did amazing! And I like how they portrayed Frollo as a more sly character. Like, sometimes you actually feel like Frollo is taking care of Quasimodo and then you’re like... nope.
The dynamics of their relationship is so interesting in this version. You can see how Frollo both manipulates and takes advantage of Quasimodo's immaturity and it is riveting how these two talented young men make that relationship seem so real.
I keep seeing how Frollo shakes his head slightly when Quasimodo says "Only a monster." In the cartoon, the term master feels more like master and slave, but here it sounds like a teacher. Talented acting makes this moment between these two characters feel so tender, especially in cultures where a teacher is like a parent. I'm not saying this Frollo is teacher/father of the year, but it's obvious to me he so very truly cares. This relationship is consistently displayed in all their scenes until the very end of the play. It is part of what makes the character that much more human and the story that much more melancholic than in the cartoon, which is only suitable considering the audiences. And though he is, in fact, made of something stronger than stone, I adore how Quasimodo wobbles around the stage, stammers, and holds on to Frollo's robe like a toddler. (I will never stop loving the cartoon Quasi who makes beautiful Notre Dame diorama as well.) This is clearly a very well thought out production with absolutely amazing cast. And wow, the voices!

the blonde girl that has a balcony to herself is amazing
kira nygaard that would be Olivia Cornett. She sang the national anthem at one of the major baseball games.
frollo's boots just seal the look tbh he is literally so handsome and so evil CHILLS
Kyler has a great voice, and fills the role of Frollo quite well.
how quasi wasnt driven to leave the bell tower bc of hunger alone is beyond meee
the way he ate and drank you could tell he was HUNGRYYYYYY
frollo's robe reminds me of a cobra's head and the way he walks is so powerful and smooth almost like a slither. so interesting !!!
Best portrayal of Frollo in live action by far
Chris is SO GOOD, wow... the way he delivered and sang the echoes of Frollo's words at the end..
