Please, in my zenheiser momentum true 3 headphones, does the microphone turn off while listening to music, and only work on phone calls?? Please answer, because the pickup or the subwoofer picks up the sound of the breath or the movement of the feet and amplifies it when listening to music. Is there a solution to this problem, so that the audio pickup only works when calling??
@@adamadam2160 definitely not, mic has nothing to do with the sound received from your device, by the way the transparency works with the mic and it works while hearing music, so...?
I think the Liberty 3 Pro and Galaxy Buds Pro did the best. The Momentum 3 would be my 3rd choice but while your voice was clear they didn't block as much background noise. The rest sounded more muffled to me even if they suppressed more background noise. Thanks for the microphone comparisons. 🙂👍
Liberty Pro was standout as it had more bass than the rest. I thought the Momentum and Galaxy sounded quite bad with noticeable distortion. To me the Airpods quality sounded much better than those two (allthough lower volume)
To me, if I needed one earbud for all uses it would be the Liberty 3 Pro despite its lack of umph and weight. It blocks extraneous sound while most accurately reproducing the tone of each environment. It is most accurate. If I just needed an indoor only ‘bud it would be the SONY. I think the Liberty 3 Pro is best outdoors. What’s surprising is the poor quality of the Apple, Samsung and Bose products, the Bose being the best of those three. This will make me reconsider Liberty in the future. Good test. Thanks for this video.
For me, 1. Galaxy buds Pro 2. Momentum3 and 3. Liberty3Pro Sounding quiet is a big issue for me with tws on phone calls. I dislike having to compensate by having to talk louder. Great video, always love your work.
Interesting, to me the Momentum and Galaxy sounded quite bad and distorted. I think the airpods sounded better than both. To me the Liberty was the clear winner
To me the Momentum 3 sounded the best. From what I've heard, the Sony Linkbuds S sound better than the XM4's, but I haven't gotten them yet. The best ones I have heard are the BEO EX.
Great Video! I have the liberty air 2 and the call quality is horrible… but the liberty pro 3 sound amazing I also like Bose and Sony Xm4!!! Air pods are best for call quality with my iPhone of course but it’s a toss up on the Bose,Xm4’s, and Liberty 3’s
Cheers for the vid mate! I'm soooo surprised at how poorly the apple product faired in this test. Everything I read almost convinced me to get them I'm happy I've seen this now. Something I wasn't even considering was the momentum 3 which are sounding pretty good. Galaxy buds too, pretty good stuff! I wish the jabra were in the mix haha Thanks!
tbh, i genuinely think that the bose qc and the liberty 3 pros were the best. sound quality and loudness seemed to stay up regardless of the environment
Some more great Picky content. I like the L3P and Samsung Buds Pro above all the others. They were louder and clearer than the others BUT... they all are pretty good overall. Those 2 were the better ones in my opinion
I think the Bose, Samsung, and the momentum earbuds were not bad but they produced robotic voice instead of the natural voice...I really liked the JBL and the Sony because even though they weren't the quietest they maintained the authentic voice of the user. Thanks alot for the review.
Great video, this content is what I need right now. For me, the best is Liberty 3 pro, sounds great indoors and especially outdoors. Galaxy buds pro is good but didn't produce a clear voice in the outdoors.
I do have Bose QC, it happens often that my contact ask me to repeat what a said.. And sometimes it was my boss,, 😬! BUT it never happened to me with the my Jabra elite 85T,, these were the master.
I'm looking for new Bluetooth earbuds right now, and I thank you so much for these reviews! I would say The Momentum 3 or Liberty 3 Pro is in the top of my list right now. I could hear you more cleary with The Momentum then with the Liberty earbuds, but the Liberty 3 Pro had better background noise canceling. (For me it sounded that way at least) Thank you for your video!
Perfect testing, isentical speech rate and volume in diff settings. Editing them back to back is excellent. Now I am wondering how well these handle pass through (transparency). its important for me hear part of my voice like have a monitor speaker.
Galaxy Buds Pro seems to be the best in all conditions, and Airpods Pro seems to be the worst almost in all conditions. 1. Galaxy Buds Pro 2. Sony WF-1000XM4 3. Liberty 3 Pro 4. Based QC Buds 5. Momentum 3 6. JBL Live Pro+ 7. Airpods Pro
Interesting! I have Bose QC earbuds and anytime I'm on the phone (both work iphone and personal google pixel) the person I'm on the phone to says they can't hear me!
Thank you for your thorough review. It helped me make my decision on earbuds that I can use for videoconferencing and phone (mac environment). I am going with the liberty 3 Pro. I lost my airpods but after watching this review, they didn't stack up to the Liberty, Sennheiser or Sony. I am looking for bluetooth 5.2 and my favorites all seemed to have it. Keep the great reviews coming! I'm looking for a mac-compatible headset with a great microphone for calls next... Please do one of those!
Galaxy buds user here. I've been using it for about a year now. I've tried calling people using the Galaxy buds, and almost everyone said the background noise is louder than my voice whenever I'm outdoors. The sound quality on GB is 5/5, but I'd give the microphone quality a 2/5.
@GreenBeanYT_141 The first gen Galaxy Buds. Anyway, if you're interested in a good earpiece with good sound quality and microphone. I highly recommend JBL Tour Pro 2!
Liberty Pro were standout, they had a more full sound. I don't get how many compliments Momentum and Galaxy get - to me they were noticeably more distorted than the Airpods
I think the Momentum 3 has the best consistency with very little change in voice quality. The Bose QC Buds are a close second only because the outdoor test voice quality is a little tinny and can be irritating to listen to.
this was really helpful! thank you...Unfortunately they all has really bad sound in my opinion! the noise cancelation was good but listening to you speak, i found the mics to be all bad quality, especially the JBL
So helpful. for me the overall best seems to be Airpods pro, unfortunately. The sound quality on the Liberty pro, and Galaxy was better, but not the best for the outside noisy environment.
I am looking for buds with 10hrs+ battery life for phone calls and your reviews are very helpful to cross off what I wont purchase from my list. The Bose QC sounds the best and most natural in the 2 environments. You can hear the voice better(less distant) than the Bose QC, but it sounds like youre speaking in a pipe, so I will stay clear. I want a natural sounding voice. These all sound absolutely terrible, even with higher end buds - I definitely wont use any one of these for making professional calls in any environment and only use them for listening to audio - where they perform superior.. Really poor microphone performance. If I can make a suggestion for tests...the best test is if you open the tap or flush a toilet, and then see how the background noise comes through, to tell you if it is good or not. Because I can tell you from experience: when someone flush the toilet after you have just spent 20 minutes with them on a call, it is the absolute worst sound experience to be on the receiver end of that and especially the sound of water amplified massively like a water bomb explosion sound in your receiver somehow...
So, for round 1 and 2, there was a bit of a toss-up between Liberty 3 Pro and Momentum 3 for me, though I kept thinking that the Liberty 3 Pro may just be a little bit better than the Momentum 3. As for round 3, AirPods Pro were the clear winner in my opinion, it had the most cars driving past it while picking up little to none of the sound and all while not making his voice sound weird. The Bose QC Buds come in at a clear second place, while the Liberty 3 Pro takes third place just before the Momentum 3.
Airpods were the quietest in the outdoor test and therefore the worst. Hearing the voice clearly is the goal. The background noise was fairly well blocked out by all of the earbuds, but if you can't be heard clearly without raising your voice then what's the point in buying that particular set?
I think momentum 3 looks like the best. I was shocked how bad that sony sounds. when in the silent room sony did good job but in noisy environment it fails.
Great comparison test! JBL seems to be letting the team down which is disappointing but also good to know for future reference. :) Recently bought a bunch of wireless earphones for my family without thinking through the implications of them using earphones while on a call to me who was also wearing earphones making any potential audio issues even worse! So reviews like this are certainly appreciated!
Are you just recording the audio via the tws or actually a recording of what the recipient heard? There is a big diff with my Linkbuds S. It actually amplified all the ambient sounds and no anc could be turned on. Totally unusable in a noisy environment with lots of ppl talking near or far.
Heyyyyy! Thank you for these reviews! I've been trying to find these kind of reviews in my native language and it was impossible to find something like this. Thank you again for sharing this. Pure gold!

I have Sennheiser Momentum 3's, They sound great. BUT!!! When on phone calls, the other party can hear their voice echoing across the wire back to them twice. Serious echo issues. I have tried two NEW sets, same issue.
I have purchased two different cheaper ear buds and neither will take iPhone calls even though it boosts that they have clear calling feature😮 Do u know what affordable ear buds (like 100 or preferably less) actually work with iPhone to accept calls????
Galaxy buds pro or soundcore liberty 3 pros. Sony seemed to struggle next to the highway and interestingly the Bose seemed great there. Nice video! Hard not to include the elevocs for a microphone video but aside from the mics they obviously aren't in the same league all around as these other buds.
This is the kind of review you want. Hands-on, no fuss, realistic environment. Well done, thanks! I'm a bit shocked that the AirPods are mid-tier at best, with so many people swearing by them. Liberty 3 outperformed pretty substantially. I'm a bit disappointed in Sony, as their sound quality (listening) is usually fantastic. But the Bose were surprisingly good. At last, all of these did remarkably well compared to the high-tier models that were available ten years ago. No one would've been able to understand you on a busy street like that. 😅
I think a lot of people are tricked by the volume of each one. Our brains think louder sounds better. I seem some people picking the galaxy buds as best when they distort in places. If you volume adjust the AirPods sound way better IMO.
Hey a bit of a different video here. Be sure to chuck a comment of which bud or buds you think has the overall mic quality. 😊

I loved the Sony really much, just not 100% convinced on the speaking outdoors in a noisy area. Thanks for sharing tough
