And a new CTL and these dealers want full retail even though I buy more than most..
I own one of those (2019), they don’t weight 22k, it’s just shy of 24,000lbs when I scaled mine with full tank of fuel and 36” tag bucket. I don’t have the extra counter weight. If I did it would be 25k. It will eat a Kubota kx080, bobcat e85/e88, hands down way stronger. This thing will do about as good as a 30k excavator.
@@VBELTandSON just don’t have the counter weight. I had a big job , long story short we needed a 30k machine for the large excavation because of the boulder size. The wouldn’t let us take one up the roads, so I got this thing. Very impressive, the damn hydraulics are strong (if tuned up, have not ran the new design 2024 with load sensing hydraulics), counter weight could be stronger, but hell, here on the east coast it’ll push down large oaks, pines, etc, all day stuff my bobcat e85 struggles like hell with and I would have to bring in Hyundai hx130 for.
Best machine hands down. Had one sold it bought a bobcat e88, such a downgrade felt like a 12k machine compared to the sv100. Went right back to the sv100.
I used to daily pull a big Ditch Witch rock saw with the blade and backhoe attachment with a Dodge 5500 with the bulky dog programmer. We changed over to the Ford 550 with the 6.7 and it pulled a better.
@@VBELTandSON Nah, no better. The trailer I had, had hydraulic brakes on it and when they worked they worked good lol. Besides I wasn’t dogging the Dodge 5500, it did good. Anyone who knows what a Ditch Witch rock saw/trencher with the blade and backhoe attachments knows that it’s heavy as hell and honestly was a bit too heavy to be hauling with either truck. We went through trailer tires like a kid goes through candy.
@@VBELTandSON I’ll definitely agree with that. Their engine brake is definitely better. Basically what I was saying that in the 550 I relied on the trailer brakes more than I had to in the 5500.
If you drive the sv100, you’ll trade the 080 for it any day, much much stronger night and day for lifting trees, pushing over and stumps The website use to say digging force 17,100lbs but for some reason they changed it down to 12k.
Not really interested in taking skid steer worth of engcon stuff off my 080 but when it comes to lifting trees I’ll take a mec but I will see how mean the 100 is. Looking forward to it
@@VBELTandSON try and compare to the cat 310, I am considering next purchase going to a 310, never ran a 310. Feel pushing the 310 would be weaker due to boom mount in the center of the machine vs. upfront. I know the sang 95 I tested was much more stable then the 100, but pushing trees over, it reared up due to the weight location and the boom location, hydraulics on the 100 was significantly stronger then the 95. Personally hated the 95, felt like Chinese junk

How, I’m not saying it’s not possible but how can you tow that heavy with that truck legally? I’m no wanna be DOT officer but I have to have a commercial cdl A to haul my dump truck and trailer.
Thumb matching a digging bucket. Typically they don’t match up to 42inch grading buckets. And it’s a ranch machine. Don’t need to double the thumb price to do progressive.

Was just at meridian yesterday picking up 2 new yanmars. We have 3 of the sv100’s and they are pretty stout. No complaints
Can’t wait to get mine, I knew it was destiny as soon as I got within 20 feet of it at the dealer, the 24 hydraulics is what really sealed it for me.

Sounds like you should try a mecalac.
The swing boom machines aren’t near as stout breakout force and lifting wise. I’d take a Cat 310 any day
