    Top tip undo the throttle cables from the twist grip and pull them out still attached to the the carbs much easier way of doing it

      I love what you did with Microsoft so I'll have to try that out! That would honestly get rid of the hardest part even of its a little out of the way. I won't be pulling my hair out atleast

      I learned that real fast it's too tight to get it from the carb. Got my bandit motor in GSXR 750 roller its 94. Street fighter.

    Not to mention the fire hazard of leaking fuel on a hot engine & alternator...that would be my main motivation !

    • @Realboostedbikes
      @Realboostedbikes  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The bike shouldn't catch fire unless the gas was subjected to an open flame or the engine was cooking already. Fuel has to be compressed to be ignited that's why it doesn't burn the second it enters the engine and even when compressed it needs the high heat of the spark plug to actually be ignited if the engines properly designed. If i had a full exhaust and was running a really lean setup that could definitely be an issue though haha as that will get much hotter than the engine itself as it's carrying the waste of the flame front through it..

      Making the intake plenum is the tricky part the rest is pretty much off the shelf components. I'm running a walboro 255 fuel pump with a malpassi rising rate regulator thats really the trick behind the fuel system

    I would love to know the details of how you modified and plumbed your blow through carb setup for an upcoming project of mine.

    • @Realboostedbikes
      @Realboostedbikes  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's a stock set of carbs from a mk1 1999 model year bike. I have a tube plumbed from the intake to the two carb vents on the top of the carbs so that as fuel preassure rises, it doesn't overflow out of the top. I also have a walboro fuel pump with a malpassi rising rate regulator set at 2.5psi static

      @Realboostedbikes thank you for the quick reply. Is that the only mod on the carbs? Did you plum the carb vent tube to the plenum or the boost pipe going into the plenum?
      Thank you for all your help. I plan on boosting my superhawk 996 but the blow through carb setup is all new to me.

    I got 94 GSXR 750 with 2001 bandit motor in it. I just bought buying 2001 bandit S with 2033 miles on was a trade in at use car dealer. Original owner put 2 brothers pipe Carbon fiber can. Should have it by end May. But I'm thinking I'll leave that puppy alone. Turbo the Gixxer. It's metal flake candy orange paint with e bay faring that looks like a transformer. Gixxer bandit has 30,500 on it. Just want to do low boost threw the carbs.

      The fastest bike at bonneville in the early 90's was a gsxr750 with a turbocharged 1100 engine in it so that's one heck of a ride. Always wanted to build one myself. Ride safe!

      This bike is has a Garrett gt2860r turbo. There are several people who make kits for the bandit. RCC makes the best kits. My bike has a modified Fast By Me Turbo kit on it. Proboost and Pete Field also make a bit cheaper kits. Pete Field kit ain't half bad. Proboost I'd stay away from unless you don't mind redesigning every part a few times

      @@Realboostedbikes I’ve only just noticed it’s a mk2 bandit, is your pump in the tank 🤔

    • @Realboostedbikes
      @Realboostedbikes  ปีที่แล้ว

      @haznkaz no the pump is external its ran horizontally under the seat. You can see the fuel lines running across the frame rails in a few shots. It is a return style setup though, I had to modify the gas tank for the return.

    • @haznkaz

    • @Realboostedbikes
      @Realboostedbikes  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It should make over 300hp on race gad. Have it set for about 230hp on pump right now
