Looking at your recent content vs your older content (or even Mariano’s). There’s been a big shift in your narrative. In the past, you focused more on opponents’ ranges, what can you realistically beat, equity in a hand, and sprinkled in a hero call here and there. Versus your content now, it’s been “I’m down a lot of money, so I gotta go for it”. I think if you start playing the same way that made your channel really popular, you’ll start making money in your million dollar challenge (slowly, but surely. Good luck Ethan!
Yea nice way of saying he's been playing on tilt. But we're here for you bud.
@@Rayrocknywhy you sayin we here for guangliu , hes giving genuinely constructive criticism, i think we’re here for rampage
It's more like he was getting insanely lucky and his play looked better to the uninformed. He's not and never has been good.
@@petermayman5159better than you
There's a couple problems, most of us learn to play with experience and since Ethan got the horseshoe up there early by getting a chance to play over his experience with merch and TH-cam income he never had to really learn to play. Second he has exposed his really blatant sizing tells on video for sharp players to see, as well as his degenerate style of gambling in the game. He is playing a lot lately like a pit junkie chasing losses and even a fish like airball has been showing he has to learn the game while Ethan doesn't seem to care. With that said you and I just paid him some pennies to keep grinding and a lot of people buy the merch so the income comes whether he cares to learn or not.
It's getting to the point where I'm watching these videos with the same fascination that makes people slow down when they see a car crash.
He was getting a little cocky when he was winning, this is a dose of humble pie
He makes me feel so much better about my own results. No one wins all the time... some vloggers have a tendency to make it seem like they do though. Not Ethan!
"I just have to go for it". That is a problem
I skipped to 15:10 - this is the tone of a man who has a problem.
Please do a road to losing 10 million and beat NIT Airball for once
Up
So epic, will be first “Road to $1mil” where he loses his 2nd Mil in quick fashion. When will lessons start? Maybe $1.5milli?
Every home game wants Rampage to drop in right now.
Other poker vloggers I watch say things like, “I have to be right x% of the time for this to be a profitable call” or “I have x% equity if I make the call here.” Not things like, “whatever, I’m stuck a bunch of money, let’s gamble, can’t lose them all right?”
He constantly rationalizes his terrible play by saying things like “how can I ever win it back if I dont gamble?”
I don’t understand why you call an all-in with QJo…even if it’s “only 860 bucks,” that’s still a lot of money and if you punt like that all the time you will have a tough time climbing back to $1,000,000.
If he keeps making decisions like this it will be impossible for him to be a profitable player.
It's called "gamble" else you dont call it, no matter the price.
And then he says, "unfortunate there to lose this hand". Um, no, the best hand won, nothing unfortunate about it.
@@olivierrun8364
Yeah. Doing weird random shit turns a game of skill and a little luck into pure gambling.
Rampant 👟🏈 never disappoints.
The saddest part of all of this is the fact that Ethan is simply unwilling to listen to his audience even tho we genuinely care for him and want better for him. very sad situation.
:( I started playing when he did. But I didn't do as well. Learned lots of hard lessons up front. Now, I'm kinda glad I didn't sunrun like him from the beginning...
Tbh if he listened to people he wouldn’t be where he is… he wouldn’t even be a pro. He’d be working at office max or some shit.
I feel like he went up on stakes way too fast and now it’s coming all down on him. Kid needs to get some confidence back, be humble and take it from step one. Road to one million is a marathon not a race
@@federicoalbojer9105 He shouldn't have started a "road to one million" challenge when he's already down. Should be "road to improvement" and monitoring his own mistakes to improve instead of "I need to reach one million dollars, let's gamble"
Because he’s making his money from WPT Rakes and kickbacks , his poker doesn’t matter. He’s a scammer
It’s the fart at the end for me
😂 18:18
Lost 11k…and a pair of underwear 😂😂😂
@@tonycatalano4338dude 😂🤣😂 I’m dying.
That’s gonna be itchy when it dries!
A shitty player farting
Gambling money should be invested in coaching. Need to find that edge again.
100 percent, I believe he was doing to smaller games, 5/10 10/25 etc, his game switched to be more concern about being fancy and facetime, coaching will do Ethan a lot of good, re adjust focus,
@@jacklam9239 Yeah his hands weren't streamed on the come up. Now people study his game. Does he study their game? Is he like Daniel Negreanu implementing and learning techniques in the scene?
Stop the punts if you want to get back to a mil
You probably don’t punt enough
He honestly just got shafted i wouldn’t even say he punted that much he just got unlucky
He had good hands, he was a LOT more disciplined that usual.
He just got REALLY unlucky..
He definitely punted lol
I agree he didn’t punt just unlucky this sesh!
I can’t for the life of me understand how you can still try these bluffs with all the money you’ve lost doing it
It’s called addiction
He’s making his money from WPT and GG kickbacks, his poker is irrelevant
He gets off on idiotic bluffs ....
I like you Rampage because I ran into you at the Rio a couple of times and you were the friendliest of the poker vloggers, but you are turning into an ATM! So since I was a Good Luck Charm for Kelly Minkin in 2018🍀,I'm sending you some Luck🍀! Good Luck Rampage!🍀😊🤑💸
Come on rampage, get your game back on point! Stop punting, right now on this down swing you have no bluffing power my guy. I'm rooting for ya!!!
I don’t believe I’ve ever “disliked” a video on TH-cam before, but there’s a first for everything. If Ethan isn’t reading the comments, we gotta at least let him know through the TH-cam analytics that these videos are complete trash. Sure, I watch these videos for entertainment, but the main reason is to learn how a solid poker pro thinks and analyzes poker hand situations, but this just isn’t cutting it.. Also, unbelievable how he “doesn’t think he’s making too many terrible mistakes”… from loving this channel, to despising it, I really hope he makes a change for the better, because as everyone is saying, this is the road to -$1,000,000. Hoping this turns around, we miss the old Rampage..
You don't have to dislike the video... Just stop watching his content. He's clearly not a "solid poker pro". He sun runned some tournaments which made him look like he knew what he was doing. The past couple of years is just reality catching up to him. Either watch for entertainment only, or don't watch. You aren't going to learn anything helpful from Rampage aside from what not to do.
Solid poker pro and Ethan don’t belong in the same paragraph bro. If you’re really here to learn from a poker pro and the analytical part of the game then you’re on the wrong channel. This is absolutely a “what not to do” in EVERY HAND. Even when he was winning it wasn’t analytical, it was absolute gambling. Don’t come here for tips and tricks. This guy is an absolute idiot who hasn’t learned that doing the same thing expecting different results is insane.
First hand, blasting off 3 streets with 7-high. Sheeeeesh.
18:19 is totally a fart 😂
Bahahahha you're right!
I said the same thing I’m like yo just farted an was hella casual lol
I'm guessing he lost $1,000 on that fart.
One of my fav channels
16:07” how can I ever win money if I’m not willing to take a stand?”
It was KJ. Easy fold to an all in.
Even so, the opponent making 777 on both boards is just disgusting bad luck. Yes, Rampage could play better but the bad luck is getting ridiculous.
@@dealerG if only he could have avoided the bad luck by folding a not good enough hand to begin with
@@jaeger.9055 It doesn't matter. Once he's all in with KJ Vs 77 he should win roughly half the time. To win no boards is just bad luck, it is that simple.
@@dealerG It's not though--he had the worse hand, period. Opponent doesn't need to make a set. And KJ sux name ONE hand you're actually prob ahead of? Don't call knowing ur behind hoping to "get lucky" then be surprised that u often lose.
@@Vote_By_Mail No, once he is all in against 77 he should win 1 board on average. You keyboard warriors don't even know how probability works.
Did everybody else also see the trip jacks from a mile away?
Um yea... yea we did. Dude practically posted a freeway sign advertising it.
Even Rampage saw it from a mile away, and he still made the call
Agree. Didn’t stop to ask what hands he could beat. Always a bad sign. Poker isn’t a game of winning. It is a game of decisions. Make the best decisions with incomplete information. The rest can’t be controlled.
Enjoy watching you post an honest game assessment. It's educational.
Yes, it teaches you what not to do
At this point. You can always do some Uber or Door Dash to assist you on this Road to a Million $ Giveaway
Heard fast food workers in Cali make 20 an hr now too...
Is the challenge to lose 1 million the fastest? Genuine question at this point
You're doing it peter
I think he’s back to where he started now. $100 in his pocket and a dream
I'm learning so much about how not to play poker!
Most vloggers give you that lesson.
“I’m going to try to win. I think I’m going to try to win? I don’t know.” 😂😂😂
Never a friendly home game where money is concerned
haha too funny it reminds me of high school,we play 7 card stud friday nights in the basement. we get side $ ready and order in Italian sandwiches.
Depends on the stakes, tbh... lol I've played games with like $50 buy-ins of chips and nobody is really going to leave with friendships ruined over that
I think your followers will watch and support you whether you are playing 1/3 or 100/300. Let’s just practice better bankroll management. You got your followers from 1/3 and 2/5. The rest newer followers are going to hate on you when you win and cheer when you crash.
You can't make up the $1M loss playing 1/3 unfortunately.
@@18000rpm yeah. That shit is gone. He’s going to dig deeper trying to get it back.
❤ the vlog series!
The last hand is indicative of your style of play. You called a 2x all-in with unsuited kj. Behind to every pair
Behind to every ace. Behind to every better k. Bad poker.
But it was "the end of the night" and he "needed a win" and he was "down money" so that means get it all in and cross your fingers time.
He’s a gambler. What do you expect?
Just love it when rampunt go on full punt mode. Good luck 😅
Beaumont California is 10 minutes away from me glad to see you doing vlogs near the local town definitely subscribing !!!!
You can sue your barber for at least 1,000,000,000. LOL
You should add where the bankroll is at at the beginning of each video. Love this series.
Ethan you can do a lot of great things outside of poker. You have something most people don't. Work ethic. Unfortunately, and I say this from experience, you don't have the emotional control to manage risk for a living. Don't feel bad if you quit poker. You're going to go far in life.
Love the home game vlogs, esp when they are higher stakes.
I’m watching his video 1000 times so he doesn’t go broke
He don’t care about you
Trust me, he is going broke regardless.. its like watching a train wreck, you cant look away but you know whats about to happen..
Rampage is a part of the Yes Theory Family? NOICE
One thing i appreciate about rampage is he’s always been transparent with his wins losses
Felt that pocket queens hand. I flopped quad 7s last night and checked all the way to the river and then bet $2 into a $10 pot and took it home… everyone folded
At what point does “unlucky” finally turn into “just playing bad”
day one with this dude.
Never, and he doesn't realize that in his big wins he got extremely lucky. He just thinks it was good play.
My favourite series of all time
Snap folding to the person shuffling their chips @15:17 lol
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Want you to win Rampage, but it’s not a poker tournament. You don’t need to go for flips pre flop in cash games.
Good video and you played ok! Sucked out on a bit but good luck on the next! 🎉
Your strategy changes like every hand Rampage. Need to remain focus but I’m having a home game next week, please come🤣
I love your videos. You need to smarten up. You know it yourself. Let go off hands QJo when facing an all in. That's just standard play, yet you make the call. Even if you hit it, your gain would be based on luck instead of smart play
I haven’t heard you say “bink” in a looong long time.
These videos remind me of going a craps table with my buddies and watching them loose it all and hit the atm.
Lose
Ethan is the ATM at these games.
@@joyride1598IT'S LOOSE
Keep going keep learning and it will turn around
You say you came here to practice, but also in your own words "I've been gambling all night"
Calling with QJ offsuit is wild stuff with a guy going all in with so little.
Those thumb ups are hilarious 😂
Keep it up. I love ❤️ your vlogs. I hope you win more
I'm ready for some 7 figure scores!!! Keep at it dude, this challenge will be cake for you
I am always rooting for you.. but open raise KJ off to 600- Then calling off the remaining 1660.. hopefully you hit..
In this case you were live 45-55.. in many cases your completely dominated 70-30 to AK or even worse.. Thats almost 2.5k you shouldn't gamble(I understand it's the last hand of the day and you were stuck about 10k.) Tighten up a little bit and you will find more positive results.. I am again stating I am always rooting for you.😊
BUDDY YOU ARE DUE YOU JUST GOTTA KEEP GOIN ALL IN!!! How else could you possibly win it all back quickly?
I honestly don't think Ethan is a gambling addict, but he just plays one on TH-cam vlogs 😁
Good luck Rampage
You are starting out pretty good, keep going.
I am loving this Road to Losing $1,000,000 challenge
I’m one hand in and he already raised with a folding hand
💀
Tighten up. It’s never a friendly game with thousands at stake. Tighten up.
Bin the challenge, can’t believe this is the same Ethan I used to watch having fun playing poker. Come on mate we’re behind you but go back to basics!
I like your closing line... "all of it can be erased in one session" Keep positive!
Fast forward to 18:19 for the real surprise 🎉
In games like this, I'd run it once and let them all know. I know it doesn't change the variance, but they are less likely to want to shove all in preflop with small pairs and King high.
That's what you want though, he has to tighten his range to exploit that.
@@ianburns3358 Not really. Getting it in with over cards and being a slight dog takes away a good players edge.
"maybe I steal some of his drug.... err drone footage" :D we heard you :P
This is great advertising to get invited to many more home games.
I cant wait to see "Road to $2M" series
12:38 “…and IT IS!!! not a seven “🤣🤣 the pain that everyone knows
Good that you're staying alive and still making good money on the WPT commercials and the TH-cam good revenue! We who watch you are helping the yt algorithm...
We who care.... hope the punts stop!
Maybe firing your barber could be a great start 🤣
He tripped up on both boards with the 7s. Wow!
The first hand pretty much sums up perfectly rampages throwing good money after bad issue. Rampage plays absolute trash pre-flop at positional disadvantage against ranges that are also super wide and often end up multi way.
Feels the need to c-bet to thin the field with a junky draw. Start a semi bluff on turn, because guess what the trash hand is still trash. Then blasts it at the end when river bricks. I feel like you can't just use aggression to correct prior mistakes, it's ok to have some give ups. I reckon Rampage gets looked up with a Queen quite a lot given his image, especially if this was at Hustler.
It's also a double edge sword, if the bluffs get through it encourages more aggression. If they don't get through then it's tilting and encourages more aggression.
Bluffs should scare people..but I feel like consistent and sometimes badly timed aggression, people are more scared of the bet size (pot odds) and not scared of the story you are trying to tell e.g I have thick value. Storytelling (the entire line and image, history)/betsize are similar and related but not the same i.e I know rampage is probably overbluffing but I'm not sure this is the right spot to call down with a weak Q to such a large bet
rootin for ya dude!
Good luck Ethan.
Good luck mate.
Bro getting invited for his action lol 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
14:25 cant help but look at the chip shuffle, idk how he does that
sit at a table for 5k hours and it will come to you.
Was just thinking, gotta add that to my repertoire lol
@@mark.mazzarella Don't. Whenever I see someone shuffling their chips I just think they are posers. Might as well put on some sunglasses and a hoodie while you're at it. Instead of investing time learning how to fiddle with your chips, spend that time improving your game. Thank me later.
No clue if you’re reading the comments but here’s a friendly suggestion for you:
Use your reach and influence to get a coach to do a 1 on 1 series with you. Will be huge value for both of you. The coach gets exposure and you get to learn poker.
Head up big dog!! lots of hate out there but biggest thing is you gotta have a good headspace and keep making content you love ❤
So entertaining lol. Thanks pal
You'll be at negative 2 million in no time ! You got this Rampage we believe in you !
Love the "ROAD TO $1,000,000" graphics at the end with the money raining in, and then he follows it up with "Down $11,000..." lol
One of Rampages many problems is not giving up on a hand. If he has air and they get to the river he always feels the need to “go for it” and bluff. Building bad habits like on that first 74 hand
Badass bro! You played like me! Lol
Last hand was rough. Especially running it twice.
The Art Of Negative Poker Play by Rampage becomes the best selling book in poker history , Once read you become a pro in a year and Ethan makes 10M in sales and becomes the best poker coach ever.. All ends well , I bet on it😎
Your next session will be your best session!! Keep Going !!
Ramps keeps it real. He shows the good and bad hands. But when the tide turns, how sweet it is!
I will give you a huge tip. If the cards are running bad, good players pick up on that immediately. Dont raise early or call big bets before the flop. KJ TO K10 off suit are not calling hands.
Never thought tilting can be carried thru your next session. Geez
Hey man, i watch you alot, i know for video you say that the 10/25 games are "friendlier" but alot of people are crazy nitty in these games, and they prey on people with a bigger bankroll, dont use it as an excuse to play wider or what not.
anyways big fan love the content man excited to see you play the big stakes soon.
He doesn’t deserve any applause. He called with King Jack.
hahaha
Send you back to Russia 😂
When you are running this bad, the only thing that can help is a nice break. Tough to break the streak of such a bad run when you are chasing losses. Good luck to you my friend.
Lessons might work.
Maybe you need to seek an exorcist so he can remove the bad card demons😂😂
Good Morning Young Man
Villain hits a set on both boards 😂😂😂 what a way to finish punting
When is the hustler stream and is it able to be bet on ?
