“Slow and Steady wins the race” and will get you to a million a lot surer than taking the Airball route. Keep up the good work, keep yourself from punting too hugely, and show you’re serious about a turnaround. That will get you your million and a lot more fans along the way.
KK hand vs Nick, I like the read to flat and see if the tight-agg player RRs, but I'm not a fan of the Turn bet. If we're hoping for the "overpair under Kings" like you said on the flop, we don't make much betting turn (as many of those just fold now like Nick did). With two flush draws, vs this lineup, if we're gonna try to use the "Rampunts" image to get paid, I think we make more more often checking the Turn and blasting the river. If the flushes get there, we already have the boat, and if not, it looks more like we missed the draws.
One thing that stands out here is that in 6 episodes, you didn't look like you were able to beat lower stakes, and all of your profits come from a couple of hands at extreme high stakes that sit outside the statistical range of common hands, maybe against players that you know more well and play against more often. This feels like the setup for a big loss. Today you bought in for $100k on a $1,000,000 bankroll challenge (10%) and ended up returning a $7k profit. That's 10% risked for .7% progress towards your goal. I'm a complete fucking nobody n00b who has never won a major tournament, so take this with a grain of salt, but I'm wondering if you're outside your bankroll in an unsafe way that could be mitigated by going back to the woodshed of lower-stakes and developing a tighter range that's less prone to big punts. Maybe tight $2/5 is impossible now that you know you can get action at a $25/50, but it definitely feels like the stakes are mismatched to your BB/hr and the overall size of your goal.
I really enjoy these vlogs more where you can find the fold button and when you are'nt too greedy and overplaying your hands. For example, cold-calling pocket KK's as you did is a good thing to be a versatile pokerplayer.
Just went back and looked at your start 5 to 6 years ago 1/2 NL ....7900 was a massive win. Your skills and channel have obviously grown..... Don't forget your roots and your original fan base that have watched you for years... 😮
win or lose, you gotta respect Rampage's transparency. Most people would be too ashamed to show their losses but brag about their victories without hesistation.
I have your luck dice hoodie and I really want another one will probably have to wait till next merch drop 😭 Love the content and love the new merch as well! Run hot man I hope to play on a table with you at some point!
@rampage yo huge fan of the content. can you release your shorts after you release the vlogs? it's kind of a spoiler for everything that happens in the vlog. I know you'll get ur money back, keep it up king
In this ante game, does the dealer button go to the player who won the last pot, or does it go around the table like in regular hold 'em? If it's the later, than this is really no a very fair structure. In most ante games the dealer, or the person with the dealer button is also first to act, given they just won a pot, and should not be rewarded with late position on the next hand. I would argue that having a blinds game with an added ante would be a much better structure, or even have a structure with blinds and make the BB also pay an ante. In these types of games straddling would be prohibited.
Hey Rampage, at 7:25 you shouldn't really bet on the turn. There's possibility that your opponents will have hands like AK AQ diamond that will become a flush on the river, or they can choose to represent that types of cards and bluff you, cause you didn't raise his 3bet. Overall I really like how you preform over the last two session, keep it up man!
Not a huge swing, but a sustainable profit. That's awesome. I hope you feel the love from the comment section. Jokes aside, few want to see a punt crash.
Remember, there will be good days and bad days ahead. Just make sure you win as much as possible on good days and lose as little as possible on bad days.
Bankroll challenges are the hottest thing now for poker vloggers, good idea to keep viewers tuned in! Good luck building your channel! And I see no reason for you to help Nick the Nit monopolize/saturate the TH-cam poker audience available bandwidth hours with his stream...especially as he bans all the good players like G-Man, nits it up big time himself, and primarily invites punters onto his steam. Good gig if you can get it. You should consider starting your own live cash game stream to offer him some friendly TH-cam competition
It’s clear that all these guys are so used to you never having value. You got called very light in multiple hands but showed them value this time. Nice
Rampage i love your content and watching since your beginning at covid And hope you will make up for the million but please stop publishing those reels on instagram with the score of the games Or at least post that after the vlog Because i already know whats the score.. Thnaks much love❤
I like betting the turn with kings full, but the bet was way too large. You're trying to get called by an underpair or a draw. Very unlikely the king helps your opponent and you are giving him a bad price to call. A 2-3k bet would have been perfect to put him in a tough spot.
@@nishantthaccker1173 nope. Cuz if the fool doesnt get there its an easy fold whereas if u bet the turn theyll call on a draw n ull get some value out of them. N if they hit ull obv stack them.
No one gonna comment of that he is counting a win from a game before he started the “Road to a million” serie?😂😂 still saying he Will be broke by the EOY😂😂
I’ve noticed that every Rampage video starts with him saying, “I’m a little bit late right now as he huffs and puffs”. What gives? Get there on time for once and be relaxed when you sit down.
Bro I love the old-school look box sweatshirts, I so badly want to have one. But I said my sob story before, taking care of mom, so I can't splurge on anything. Hope you sell a bunch
7:50 Dunbest bet I’ve ever seen in my life… Why bet? Especially that amount after turning a boat? Yikes. Honestly you just got lucky that your opponents were kind of dumb, lol. Especially that last hand.
Much more disciplined play but the big hands were lucky ones. Keep up the good work and don't fall back into punting! Keep milking that rep instead. We're rooting for you.
To put it into perspective, you may think you only won a small amount, but 7.9% is about the same returns as if you put that 100k into the SnP 500 on a good year for the whole year!
Don't be fooled, he is editing out the punts. He ended that last hand up ~$16k, but ended the session only up $7k... I wish you well Ethan, I just hope you are doing what makes you happy.
tbh wldn't be surprised if he'll become -2/-3 mil, does rampage have the bankroll to be consistently playing in 100k + buy ins and costly tournaments? not unless he's deep into 8 figures which I doubt, brad owen usually plays games with less money than he def cld buy into, but rampage is the opposite, -1 mil is just the tip of the iceberg potentially

You called me a solid player I played with you at morongo with Mariano and I'm in your videos would you stake me
At the end of the series, i would love to see that you don’t say anymore: „im calling with a bad hand, because its only X amount“
ye those x amounts add up real quick just see it on stream
If the price is good you’re no good
U know as what they say, "you die by a thousand papercuts"
That or “I have bleh bleh and a dream”
I would love to see Santa Claus fly in with the Easter bunny and hand everyone a million dollars. And then fart out a leprechaun
Some discipline creeping into your game at last! It will stand you in good stead. All the best...

Cant punt when peoples stacks are 5k effective to his 100k. 😅 pointless game, pure for entertainment only. Shouldnt be allowed this stack variances.
really refreshing to watch bread and butter - solid poker. those punts were literally hurting my soul
Love to see you play a bit tighter! So much more enjoyable to watch you win and not punt

nick is never 4 betting unless he has AA. he's a chicken shit player.
Nick v is a nit lord, dr p is a nit lord. Nick is never 4-betting here, therefore cold calling KK is a punt.
@@wynz7810 I agree, cold calling KK is just stupid
@@yin8032crazy stupid from a guy known for being way to aggressiv.
I bet sometimes the best part of having Wolfgang show up in your vlog is editing him out. haha
*bang* 😂😂😂
Now this video deserves the like! I enjoy the proper poker playing. Didn’t bunt off stacks for no reason. Keep up the good videos man.
Good Job Rampage! Very glad to see you getting back on track and being self aware of mistakes
Well played. You made good decisions through out the clip
Got my popcorn 🍿 🍿 ready to watch the punt fest. 👟🏈

At the stakes you play you can run up a mil easy. Just dont punt and you got the skill to do the rest. Best of luck for the next one Rampage 🍀
How does the rake work at Hustler for these live streams?
Rampage will win the million dollar bankroll challenge just so he can punt it again in a single hand
Nice calm stream
Play more like this bro and you will be more consistent with winnings and more consistent with loosing less also! You got it bro!
Dont rly understand the bet with top boat KK but overall very good game
No punts and good solid poker we love to see it
Any chance more hoodies will be stocked?
Did you teleport at the 15:56 mark?
