After becoming born again I have found it hard to find people with the same mindset but I have found peace being alone and now I enjoy being alone to be with God and to think.
I myself am introverted, 31, single and lonely a good deal of the time aside from my brother and my workplace. I would like to have a girlfriend and later wife but I need to be clear I do not need that to be satisfied and content with my life and I wouldn't want a girl sent my way if I'm not ready. I recently came back to Jesus and the faith and what I need to do is read the Bible, grow in faith, improve my habits and do better. God will sent specific people my way if it is to be and when I'm ready. That is what I believe.
I feel this. It can be hard to even find others who are as serious with their walk. However, I believe that if God put the desire in your heart for marriage then your gift is not singleness. If God put the desire in your heart for Christian friends, it’s because we are called to be in community. God said it is not good for man to be alone. With that being said, I’m an only child and I love my alone time 😂.

i'm an ex H addict (11.5 years clean by God's grace), divorced, 40 years old, and i live alone. most of the friends i had back in the day are either dead now or want nothing to do with me due to my past drug addictions and all the stuff that comes with it, my relationship with Christ we started 5 years ago, and my introverted lifestyle. my life has been so eventful (mostly bad events) that i simply want nothing more than peace and quiet any chance i get. i'm a barber and i'm around people all day. at night, i isolate and mostly watch Christian content on youtube, pray, and play video games. i absolutely get lonely at times but I feel like God has me doing these things to help me build my relationship with Christ ever more strong. thank you for this video! showed up on my homepage. i just subscribed to you my dude. 😎
Thank you so much for this encouragement, brother. Currently in this lonely season. However, ever since Jesus has called me out of the organized churches of today and into His spiritual church, I have been growing deeper and deeper in the Lord Jesus. The false doctrines, the many deceptions, and many voices can be very distracting from actually listening to Jesus' voice. The Lord has let me know it's not necessarily loneliness but a separation process from the world
@thedavidhammond so true. The world tells us to fall in love but Jesus calls us to grow in love because that is how He builds us. We know when things fall it breaks, but when they grow like a seed being nurtured, will bloom for His Kingdom. Praying for you and your ministry. Keep being a light for Jesus!
I have to slightly disagree with you. I believe that church is important. Now trust me there are very few churches without tradition that preach the truth and only the truth, but I plead with anyone to search for a church that preaches the truth. In fact, I believe it is a commandment in the Bible. Hebrews 10:25 not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near. (NASB).

For we are [e]the temple of the living God; just as God said, “I will dwell among them and walk among them; And I will be their God, and they shall be My people. 17 Therefore, come out from their midst and be separate,” says the Lord. “And do not touch what is unclean; And I will welcome you. 18 And I will be a father to you, And you shall be sons and daughters to Me,” Says the Lord Almighty." God dwells within us to help us overcome sin and endure to the very end. We are the church because Jesus Christ is tge foundation and dwells within His people, spirtually. You should search in Revelations chapters 17 thru 19. It talks about the false churches. Jesus desires us to become separate from false doctrines, deceptions, and ungodliness. Pray unto Jesus Christ to open your eyes to any falsehood and truly open your heart to His truths. May your eyes truly be opened to Jesus Christ 🙏
I realized even when you are married and have a family your relationship with God will be still number one. I too have accepted that if I'm called to be single for life im happy with that but I do desire to be a wife and a mom
Thank you for this, recently I’ve moved cities halfway across America, live solo in an apartment and don’t have many friends yet. It’s tough to stay rooted in Christ on the weekend nights man, I feel the urge to go out to a bar and party as I did before I was saved. A year ago I was drinking a bunch in college and had a chronic porn addiction. Coming back to Jesus Christ was the best decision I ever made and the book of Romans completely changed my life because it got me to repent of my sins and start a more intimate relationship with God. However, the sinful urges still pop up, and in this new phase of life I have to stay grounded in Christ and realize those urges are of my old self that was put to death and not who I am now that I have the spirit of the Lord in me.
This video has been a refreshing change from the constant condemnation that I've watched other & older pastors say to young single men. We need more videos like yours with compassion & encouragement.

My last girlfriend cheated on me before she broke up with me. I did everything I could in our relationship (Morning Texts, Flowers and Candy Gifts, cooking her Lobster Tails for our anniversary), and despite all of it, she threw me away like I was nothing to her.

Loneliness is a strange feeling at times. It tends to work opposite of what you would think. Personally, when I go for long periods of time without seeing my friends or others I know I tend to be the least lonely. Those times where I'm working on myself and getting stronger with the Lord in my relationship with no one else in the picture I feel the least lonely. It is only when after a few months when I'll go to hang out with friends and people that I know I will actually feel the loneliest. I think this is because I start subconsciously comparing myself to my friends. I see their progress that they have made and compare it to my own. I start to see their progress as way more or much better than mine and it leaves me feeling lonely and behind. To anyone who struggles with this same thing you are not alone. Remember that comparison is the thief of joy whether you are comparing yourself on purpose or subconsciously without even knowing
I love those times of solitude learning who God is uncomprehendably 💡smart, creative and accepting me, valuing me and them the flawed to be disciples to show His power. Then I get back in there over flowing. Yes Amen! We must be comfortable in being alone with the Lord. The Lord calls: 'Come away with My beloved!' if we have not cultivated an intimate relationship with the Lord, we cannot cultivate godly relationships with others. Good word brother.
as far as marriage, it's death to self. Death to your flesh structures, your body is not your own. Death to your plans, because the two that don't work together don't stay together. When a couple have children it's a new realm of death to self, you give it all to structure and provide for their formative years of life so they can be healthy. To have a child, every woman will give up nine months risking everything and may die giving birth. A woman may never look the same after one pregnancy, no matter how hard she tries, and you will love that broken body like Christ loves the church or you will ruin that woman. My two gr grands were preemies, and my granddaughter risk her life to choose to have them. Talk talk talk and go into stressful situations with any person you might want to marry. Go on premarital retreats through churches, don't take anything for granted, dig up the dirt so you don't find out later about the hidden nightmares. How will you handle broken family members if the problem should arise. Divided you fall. How do you both want to raise the kids , this is a big battle if you don't agree. Take a parenting class together before marriage. Babysit someone else's kids together. Life comes at you . Married 46 yrs., unequally yoked for the past 42, but God has a sense of humor. He always gets the last laugh.
Christians are alone but not lonely for we are strangers of the world and the Lord gives us Shepherds after his heart [Jeremiah 3:15] and Psalm 68:6 sets the solitary in Spiritual families[Churches just for clarity i mean churches based on 1 Timothy 3 :16] . I am a female who was born in a Muslim family. I came to Christ as an adult. Before I became a Christian, I had some friends. At this point in my life, I have almost no friends and at work, I am mostly alone on my own while my coworkers laugh amongst themselves or speak in profane language sometimes. They will mostly talk about carnal or worldly things which I'm not interested in. When I try talking about Christianity, most of them act very offended. It's like they'd rather talk about false religions than Jesus Christ. On top of that, I had to give up my family because of my decision to follow Christ. I know this is not the work of God and Jesus is not cruel, but sometimes it feels like this is being done to me intentionally.
You new born Christians have so much to learn... about people and life....to establish wisdom you must experience first....and being in total isolation....you experience nothing.....you have gained nothing....Jesus met the people....he spoke to the people....Jesus would go off at times to pray and probably to replenish after days of healing people....the only way we learn is to go out and meet the people and to experience life....Jesus didn't avoid people....he loved all the people.....

Well yes but God doesn't do the same thing that a person does to erase loneliness. I can't go on dates with him, I can't touch him, feel him, kiss him, hug him, or have a normal 2 way conversation. It's these needs that cause loneliness.
Maybe yall are alone because you are so judgmental of others that don't look like you or their walk with Jesus doesn't look like yours...there are lots of great people out there...and you probably look pass them because they don't look like you.....most people choose to be alone....it's truly a choice....I make friends wherever I go. And I am 45.....

Doesn't God want us to be in fellowship with other believers too?
Yes ! But again that’s not something you should depend on. Master relationship with Christ first/solitude and that becomes a bonus 😊

I wouldn’t say that’s the case. But make sure you are born again by accepting Christ and the lonely feeling should subside at least slightly.

Well yes but God doesn't do the same thing that a person does to erase loneliness. I can't go on dates with him, I can't touch him, feel him, kiss him, hug him, or have a normal 2 way conversation. It's these needs that cause loneliness.

Maybe yall are alone because you are so judgmental of others that don't look like you or their walk with Jesus doesn't look like yours...there are lots of great people out there...and you probably look pass them because they don't look like you.....most people choose to be alone....it's truly a choice....I make friends wherever I go. And I am 45.....
Wtf ??? This world is about love and God who claims to be the one and only having the perfect one for each of us looks away if people feel depressed lonely and even take their lifes?
