@@drewbinsky omg thank you so much for responding I love your videos and you have inspired me to travel even more. Please come to Greece I will be so happy to meet you
When I was like 6, growing up SUPER BAPTIST, I remember asking my parents and church "what if everyone is serving the same God? Like what if it's just how they learn it differently from me?" They quickly squashed that. Here I am, 35, learning about Bahai.
Yeah I used to be an athiest and I've been converting to Christianity in recent times, and I am sure God and Jesus exist and have existed but one thing that's never really sat right as I've went into it is how all these other religions don't really seem to be wrong, and all seem to have very similar moral teachings and objectives. Finding out about Bahaism has been such a revalation for me tonight.
The Holy Spirit is the only person here today that was at the beginning of creation and raised Jesus from the dead. If you have never received conviction for sin by the Holy Spirit I would then advise to be still and say here I am Jesus. Help me to understand the purpose and your willingness to spill your blood and be crucified. There is no other way to the Father but by Jesus and His saving power. The Spirit and the Bride say come Lord Jesus.
That is a miss understanding It's not that Baha'is believe in "all of them", It's the understanding that the humanity is One and There is One God, God sends Divine teachers (Moses, Jesus, Mohammad, Buddha, Krishna, etc) during diffrent times as humanity needs diffrent education / laws / social teachings at diffrent times. Its bit like an operating system of a computer being upgraded from Windows 3.1, then an upgrade came Windows 2000, Vista, XP, Windows 7, 8, and Now 10. You cant say Windows 10 is alll of them it may have foundations upon the past but it is its own identity. It does not stop the upgrades will keep coming, same thing there will be future divine teachers which God will keep send to humanity it is needed. I hope this clarifies it abit more. Have a wonderful day!
@@화이팅-t2q Christ called to find God within- same as every prophet/messenger/enlightened being in the past. Linguistically the word "religion" means to "reconnect". In sanskrit the word Dharma translates to "universal law". In hebrew/arabic - the word "Deen" means "true judgement" but also "to lower" - meaning truth is only understood through vertical causation- when we compare things to things - atoms to atoms - dust to dust- it is only horizontal causation and cannot be used to reach truth. The pursuit of truth is to seek what is above and beyond us - relating finite to the infinite. The soul originates from the "breath" of God and animates all that is living. Every soul has direct access to the infinite within himself. We will show them Our signs in the horizons and within themselves until it becomes clear to them that it is the truth. But is it not sufficient concerning your Lord that He is, over all things, a Witness? And We have already created man and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are closer to him than [his] jugular vein Al-Hashr 59:19 وَلَا تَكُونُوا۟ كَٱلَّذِينَ نَسُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ فَأَنسَىٰهُمْ أَنفُسَهُمْۚ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْفَٰسِقُونَ And be not like those who forgot Allah, so He made them forget themselves. Those are the transgressors. When one studies etymology- we will find that this concept and division of "religion" as we understand it todat does not actually exist...it's a recent invention - not something the ancients understood. Dogma and blind faith are destructive and a symptom of sloth - which is spiritual/intellectual laziness. Truth is universal and not limited to any script, language, creed or race - but universally recognised by the heart. Paganism is the worship of form/matter/things/atoms/energy. God is infinite - beyond finite comprehension/imagination- to experience the presence of God is not something that can be put into words - but an experience that is beyond the 5 senses where any concept of self / I AM is annihilated. Any number divided by infinity reduces to 0. I'll let that process. Get back to me once you've had a think brother.

Bahai is a new age (or old age) cult that posits this crazy view that God somehow created blatantly contradictory belief systems. While this is clearly absurd, Baha'i is clearly meant to pull people away from Jesus Christ, not towards him. There's only one way to God, and that is through repentance of one's sins, and placing your trust in Jesus Christ. John 14:6 “Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’” Matthew 7:14 "Narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it." 1 John 4:1 "Do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world." Matthew 7:15 "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves."
I’m the 6th generation Baha’i from the heart of the religion home. Bahaullah says a Baha’i is recognized by the deeds not their words and identified by their character, not the name. I learned from the young age being a Baha’i’ is a path, is a way of living. It’s not about titles and having the name Baha’i. “Bahaullah says god has his Baha’is around the world without them ever heard the name of Baha’i” my grandmother used to tell me that, and now I understand what that meant. Btw they explained the prayers not completely accurate. lol
All I can say is that Drew Binsky has a way of unifying the world with his videos.. Respecting everyone's opinions and you can come to that level when you are exposed not hiding behind your keyboard attacking someone else for their belief.

For the first time in my life, I met a member of the Bahai Faith today. He is a very nice man and we enjoyed chatting. He was from Iran originally & was my Uber Driver. I knew basically nothing about Bahai but he invited me to his house since we live in the same neighborhood. This flabbergasted me since in this day and age, in America, when I wave & say hi to my neighbors, they look at me as if I've asked them to do something improper. His name was Farhad and he was proselytizing, but in such a gentle, organic way, I had no negative vibe from him. I was very nice. Just a nice chat. Now I'm learning a bit about Bahai, & it values what I've valued despite my own shortcomings. We all fall short from time to time. They believe that every religion has a life of 1000 years. There is nothing like "unity of religions" - they believe their religion is superior to all other religions. 12) Baha'is believe that Baha'u'llah is the sender of all prophets, revealer of all holy books and Lord of the Lords! 13) Babis (predecessors of Baha'is) have killed many Muslims in Iran. Baha'is have also killed a few Azalis. 14) Baha'is believe their supreme body (The UHJ) to be infallible, they call it as 'Seat of God'! @Yamin I don't, Islam makes more sense when I read about the Bahai how it breaks it down how spiritual and loving and peaceful Islam is. I especially love the way Rumi breaks down Islam and explains what it means alot better then Suni and Shias. That's just me. I'm liberal when it comes to believing in one God. Definitely think Mohammed pbuh is last messenger but for some reason I interpret his message in different way than alog of Muslims I know. I interpret the meaning of alot of things the prophet said znd did differently. I think the basis of it all is Love. 🤷🏻♂️
We are not trying to mix religions. The Baha'i Faith recognizes the divine origin of all religions. They came at different times through history to progressively reveal the Word of God. The spiritual teachings of all religions agree: love, unity, brotherhood, generosity, forgiveness, truthfulness, etc. The social teachings may change according to the time and place each religion appears: for example, Jews and Muslims were prohibited from eating pork because they had no means of properly preserving it against disease, but that law makes no sense in our modern age. Most of the major disagreements between religions are due to mankind's faulty interpretation of teachings, most of which were issues that do not really matter in the ordinary lives of people. Examples include the Holy Trinity, the Seal of the Prophets, creationism, original sin, the virgin birth, the resurrection, miracles, etc., etc. However, certain people decided that they were more qualified to interpret these things, and saw it as an opportunity to seize power and control for themselves and so created clergy, which I am convinced was never intended to be a part of religion (woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in). The purposes of religion are to enable man to know his Creator, to foster unity and love among people, to uplift and develop human capacity, and to create a civilization based on spiritual principles. Everything else is just smoke and mirrors.
I've never heard of the religion, but it sounds quite fascinating and I feel I can really relate to them. I like the fact that you can still be part of your former religion and the fact that we are all equal. Also Drew, you'd have no problem fitting into this religion as most, if not all the beliefs they have, you seem to have too.

I was 3 when I first visited & loved the lotus shape & started shouting & running inside the dome , my parents got scared & told me not to do so, but a baha'i person there came & smiled & said - "Enjoy my child, enjoy this place". My parents told me this story & I just love it even more. ❤️

I understand Drew was probably not aware, but in the Bahá’í faith (just like Muhammad in Islam) we do not depict let alone present pictures of Baháʼu'lláh. He lived in the 19th and 20th century so there are pictures available but Bahá’í are taught not to search them up, the only way we are supposed to see our prophet is by visiting the Baha’i gardens in Haifa where a depiction of Baháʼu'lláh is present. I am 18 years old and have never seen a picture of him, I was supposed to take my pilgrimage to Haifa one day and see him the way we are taught to...this video has a full on picture of him so if you’re Bahá’í and adhere to this basic Bahá’í teaching skip the video between 1:10 and 1:30 or so.
Actually we cant see Muhammed COMPLETELY at that time there were no such things as pictures and anyways we cannot not see any prophet in Islam and if you see on Google well the it's fake
This kinda puts it more into perspective, but I still think Bahá'í sounds a bit like a cult rather than a religion. But now I have a better opinion at least. Love your videos and stay safe!!

Tell her that in Islam it says that Christians and Jews are the worst of Creation and that non Muslims go to hell In Christianity Jesus said he was God ( John 8:58, Gods name is I AM and Jesus calls himself I AM. And also John 20:27-28 ) and in Islam it says Jesus isn’t God, you can’t believe in the both in the same time
Yahshua (Jesus) is the truth and perfection in human form. But Catholicism is a pagan twist on Christianity. The original unchanged Christianity is Orthodox Christianity that Ethiopians one of the first Christians practice along to this day as well as Greeks and many in Arab countries that managed to keep their fate. The Catholics even removed the Book of Enoch, which whom is even spoken about in the New Testament of Luke 3:37

So there is no Equality of Men and Women. 2) Baha'is are working to establish a Baha'i inspired New World Order, a Baha'i Super-state, headquartered in Haifa, Israel. 3) Baha'is shun (ex-communicate) Covenant-Breakers and execrate them. 4) Baha'is persecute the so-called covenant-breakers, they have desecrated the grave of Diya'u'llah who was buried next to his father Baha'u'llah. 5) Baha'is have as many as 15 splinter groups, sects. 6) Baha'is have their religious text Copyrighted and religious symbols Trademarked. 7) Baha'is teach their 'faith' everywhere except in Israel for unknown reasons! 8) Baha'is lie regarding their population, they claim their population in India to be over 1.8 Million, while the government census of 2011, reveals their figure to be 4572. 9) Baha'is selectively translate their writings for western audience and there is very heavy Baha'i censorship. 10) There is no independent Baha'i Scholarship, all Baha'i texts need to be approved before publication. 11) Baha'is see all other religions as corrupted and dead. They believe that every religion has a life of 1000 years. There is nothing like "unity of religions" - they believe their religion is superior to all other religions. 12) Baha'is believe that Baha'u'llah is the sender of all prophets, the revealer of all holy books and Lord of the Lords! 13) Babis (predecessors of Baha'is) have killed many Muslims in Iran. Baha'is have also killed a few Azalis. 14) Baha'is believe their supreme body (The UHJ) to be infallible, they call it as 'Seat of God'! 15) Baha'i guardian Shoghi Effendi was a closeted Homosexual, he used to spend months in Switzerland with Baha'i money.

Fussilat 41:53
We will show them Our signs in the horizons and within themselves until it becomes clear to them that it is the truth. But is it not sufficient concerning your Lord that He is, over all things, a Witness?
Qaf 50:16
And We have already created man and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are closer to him than [his] jugular vein
Al-Hashr 59:19
And be not like those who forgot Allah, so He made them forget themselves.

I'm not much of a joiner, since my early 30's when I spent a few years as a Rosicrucian. But I'm tempted to go and visit. He promised me Iranian food. 🙂
Here are some lesser known facts about the Baha'i Faith:
1) Women are not allowed to serve the most Supreme Administrative Body, the Universal House of Justice. So there is no Equality of Men and Women.
2) Baha'is are working to establish a Baha'i inspired New World Order, a Baha'i Super-state, headquartered in Haifa, Israel.
3) Baha'is shun (ex-communicate) Covenant-Breakers and execrate them.
4) Baha'is persecute the so called covenant-breakers, they have desecrated the grave of Diya'u'llah who was buried next to his father Baha'u'llah.
10) There is no independent Baha'i Scholarship, all Baha'i texts needs to be approved before publication.
11) Baha'is see all other religions as corrupted and dead. They believe that every religion has a life of 1000 years. There is nothing like "unity of religions" - they believe their religion is superior to all other religions.
Ask some questions about the above points to Farhad, see what are his answers.

Liju Oommen that is a legitimate concern as history has shown that to be the case. There are explicit laws in the Baha’i Faith that we are not supposed force our religion on anyone. In fact if the religion no longer be a source of unity and peace, if it causes conflict, then it better not exist at all. That’s also one of the Baha’i teachers. But given that religion has always existed in some form is it possible that the morals that are so normal to us now, had their source in religion? Which is why you don’t need to have a religion to practice the current accepted moral standards? Because the religions of the past did what they were supposed to do and effected a change in the fundamental values of humankind? I understand most of our western morals came from Christianity?

Mixing religions makes religions more confusing😕

Drew, I love all your content, but this was especially great. Thank you! 😊

Wow, this is the morning prayer which my school used to make us say. I said it for almost 10 years and I never knew that it was of Bhai faith
So you have attended a Baha'i inspired school. There are a couple of Baha'i schools in India. Are you from New Era?
Does it mean you are baha'I
Michael Doubell no, you can’t accidentally be a Baha’i. You have to consciously make that choice. You can’t even be forced by your parents, they have to let you choose your own beliefs after the age of 15

I have never heard of this faith. Thank you for educating us. Learning about different cultures and how people think educates all to better understand all.

As a humanist, i can respect a faith that doesn't discriminate anyone based on race, color, other religions but teach them to be a better human beyond borders n cultures n norms. Humanity First!
I remember somehow coming across the Bahai Faith in like 2013-14 in High School and I was so intrigued but there was something about it that turned me off at the time, I can't remember what it was. It really does sound ideal. I was raised a Chirstian, I chose a Hindu and Pagan path later on, I also practice Buddhist and Mormon beliefs and so the Bahai faith is really relevant in terms of having these beliefs without rejecting another. I will look into it again.
My main advice is make sure you do your research to make sure it's right for you! ✌ Thanks Drew for sharing this!!!
*Some lesser-known facts about the Baha'i Faith:*

Oh my God, Thank you so much Drew for your kind words. I'm a Baha'i of Kenya.
I was introduced to the Baha'i Faith in 1999 at the age of 13 and older in life I became an official member. I don't prcatice religion anymore but the Baha'i people are some of the most genuine and amazing people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing and I still have many friends who are in the faith. I'm not into religion anymore but the Baha'i Faith is so peaceful and positive with great teachings . Salute to my Baha'i people worldwide!!
That's interesting! Why you left this "religion" if it was so good?
Jarrell, Come back! We miss you! Love, A fellow Bahai
I am a Bahai and I love that you've made this video!! Also, just a point - the photo of Baha'u'llah shouldnt be included as it is extremely sacred and can only be seen when Bahais go on pilgrimage. Thank you for making this video though
