Along with the reasons already mentioned, quick projects like this are motivating manna for neurodivergent individuals. 👌🏻🥰 When I really want to crochet, but it feels extra daunting to focus for larger projects I’m working on, or would like to begin, quick/small projects make me feel accomplished & motivated to tackle other tasks, or larger projects. It breaks me right out of what I call the ADHD loop. This quick video, where you’ve taken the time to group these project’s links & patterns, makes it even better. Thank you Alysha, you’re such a precious gem. 🧶🤗🖤✨
You're welcome. I think we are on the same wave length. The feeling of completing a task is wonder. You can get that quick gratification with an afghan.
Hi Alysha, thank you so much for these great one hour projects! I love making quick items to give me a break from the larger crochet items I tend to make. This list is fantastic as you get to see a finished, useful item so quickly…very inspiring. With love from Barb in Australia 💜 🧶 🇦🇺 🇺🇸
WOW! What an AWESOME video!!! Great quick ideas to crochet and your video creation with the colorful moving background is AMAZING!!! Thank you! Keep bringing more love and joy into our world through your wonderful works of art created with yarn!!! Have fun!
Thank you for sharing those patterns, my favorite crochet pattern is making headbands. I'm a student so I only make a project which is fast to make the most of my free time.
Nice video! You’re very pleasant and uplifting! Very inspiring. I would like to see more ear warmer head bands. Also a video for summer items like a bucket hat, beach bags and such! Thanks for the video🌸
I must be really slow because I've made those type of caps before and it took me well over one hour as most if these items on this list will take over one hour to make.
Everyone works at their own pace, and the first time always takes longer. I love making the Dear Debbie Beanie by Kate Polizzi, and it used to take 5-6 hours. I‘m down to 3-4 hours now. Practicing one single pattern over and over does wonders for speed. BUT! Speed means nothing if you don‘t enjoy working on it, so please don‘t push yourself out of some strange need for optimization. Been there, 1/5 Stars, don‘t recommend it. ^^
I've been crocheting for over 30 years. The face scrubbies I can knock out several an hour. The slippers I would have to be more familiar with to do in an hour. I tend to work very quickly. I have a friend that is obsessed with making her stitches perfectly even. She will frog projects over the slightest thing. I have learned that minor stitch differences often adjust out as the project is worked. My point is, each crafter works at a different pace and level. They also have their own "hand" so to speak. My grandmother taught me when I was 14. We could both use the same hook size and yarn and our gauges would be completely different. I would say these projects are less than an hour to experienced crocheters who are familiar with the pattern and gauge.

I think it's all about the bulky yarn. I work with four weight yarn and it takes me forever lol. When I work with thicker yarn things work up quicker.
Thanks 🙏 a lot. I love the scarfs beanie and slippers. Thanks 🙏 again
My favorite are the slippers.
And saved to my crochet playlists. 😆 I LOVE some of these ideas! You also just reminded me I got to make some more amigurumi pumpkins! ❤️
