I'm 63 years old and back in the 70's we tried to figure these patterns out. They were so bad we couldn't figure them out and didn't learn.
You dear pretty lady are patient enough to do the work and agony of these patterns. And sharing them with us. Therefore creating a renewed passion for crochet. I love how you take us on your adventures and we do it together. Don't apologize. You are providing a great service! Thank you.

@@justvintagecrochet my grandma was teaching 7 y.o. me to crochet in 1977 . Using some of these types of patterns to teach me to read patterns. They made no sense then either even w/ an "interpreter". Btw she made 1 block of your water lily bedspread and quit. She hated it. That one did become a beautiful pillow. It's my favorite. Still have it.

Gorgeous! I am a meticulous person and crocheting is the only activity that relaxes me. I never lose my patience when i crochet and i like complicated, elaborate projects the most. I will definitely crochet these gloves (my grandmother left me a pair, but not so beautiful). Congratulations and thank you for the tutorial😊❤

Don't apologise for anything ,you do an amazing job in explaining crochet stitches. From the differences between US and UK crochet stitches and vintage crochet stitches and how to tell if it is a vintage pattern and a US pattern or a UK pattern. You also show the difficulties following a crochet pattern from the past. Mostly it would have been common knowledge for women at that time. and didn't need explicit explanations .You show how to interpret a crochet pattern that is old and not clear on details.

@@justvintagecrochet I craft and crochet but have learned so much from your videos and appreciate you uploading these videos as you show the difficulties interpreting vintage patterns and how we can overcome the difficulties.

These gloves are stunning! You do such beautiful work. I’ve only been crocheting for about 6 months. Just making blankets & baby blankets. Baby hats & One baby bootie😂 Just one. I can’t imagine using threat to crochet. It’s so beautiful I just don’t know that I have the patience & I’m just learning to read patterns so maybe someday I’ll get better & be brave & try doing it but for now I’m happy I can watch you do it🦋

Davvero un lavoro certosino... Molto bello.. Buon lavoro!!! 💚🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹

So pretty, the gloves aren’t bad either. 🤣 we finally got to see your pretty face that matches your calming voice and beautiful hands. In all seriousness I have binged watched all your video’s and can’t wait to see what you make next! Thank you for all the hard work you do to provide us with free patterns and great tips and tricks 🥰💐 ( pls don’t feel creeped out when I compliment you, I felt really bad that ppl said/say mean things to you & other creators, so I try to counter that with kind words that are actually truthful)

Hello dear :) I wanted to buy this pattern on your etsy shop, however I am not sure if there is a video with the pattern or is it just your youtube videos? I am not so comfortable with written patterns yet. Thanks!
