Love your videos. You tell a good story nice and calm. That's why I grill. For the calming effect of lighting the fire, hearing the meat cook and just being alone with my thoughts for a few hours then feeding the family some good eats. Keep doing your thing and enjoy the 4th.
Direct grilling for the win.👍🏁🏁 I've eatin at BBQ cook offs and have had some really good Q but I always prefer direct grilled. The best BBQ I ever ate came off a 55 gallon barrel and the best I ever cooked came off my 55 gal. that I made.. Your tips are right on the spot a lot of them you can only learn by practice on a direct grill. Thanks DD.
Awesome video! I just got a charcoal grill and let me tell you, putting my first piece of meat on there was intimidating 😂 I’m about to grill up some drumsticks and I’m very happy I found your video. A lot of other videos I watched just assumed I knew grilling basics so it’s awesome you included all the small tips and tricks like putting the oil directly on the grill brush or using the charr marks on the meat to find the hotter zones. Would love to see your take on grilling up some steaks! Blessings to you and your own!
He ain't lyin about them chicken leg prices yall! I got packs of 13-15 legs for $5.. Pressure sealed and in the freezer! Making some for the 4th for sure!
Brutha Keith. I'm digging your channel and yes Sir , you know you're stuff. Man, I agree with you 💯%, wings are outrageous!!!!!. Here in the Mid West, I'm easily paying $25.00 for a family pack of 20 wings. Smh oh well, U keep doing yo' thang Bruh
Great video, very relaxing and nicely done on the chicken. I'm doing porkchops and chicken drums for my dog and I tonight, no seasoning on his of course. Haven't seen Lowry's in Canada but I'll keep an eye out. Thanks!
I have a chargrill without the smoker and having a hard time controlling the heat, what's the secret is it the side vent or the smoke stack , please help
Although 165F is considered the safe to eat temperature for chicken, I like cooking my drumsticks past this temperature to get the desired texture, color, and taste I want. I'm not a big fan of chicken that has an internal temp of 165F (safe to eat) but is soggy and pale.

At 400F i would think 30 mins is enough time for the chicken to reach 165F internal.
