- This video will show you how to share your games and subscriptions such as Xbox Game Pass for PC and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on the new Microsoft Store on Windows 11 and 10/ Xbox App with your friends and family.
Works with Windows 10 and Windows 11 and DLCs such as Halo Infinite Campaign.
(Does not work with consumables such as Vbucks or boosters that can be brought more than once)

I manage to do all of this but for some reason the games that is already installed on my PC aside from EAgames is still asking me to install the game to be able to play? does any know the fix to this?

Nice Vid mate, by the way, I get an error message after 15 minutes of gameplay when I play co-op with 2 friends using this method, one of them is always kicked out and the app display an error message to purchase the game, it happens with all games, Halo Infinite, Warhammer Darktide, back 4 Blood etc. any advice? What's the error code? The only thing I can think of is that "Microsoft account for Xbox" is the same on all devices. The "Store account" needs to be the same and the Microsoft Account needs to be different at 0:56 make sure everybody has their personal account gamertag at the top and the game pass account at the bottom.

Hi, using this method I can't play games from EA, Blizzard and Ubisoft, right? They ask me to connect their platform's account to my xbox account, but that moment they see that I don't have a subscription and don't allow to install.
Also tried to log in my friend's account into Blizz (which is my microsoft store account), but they see the logged in xbox acc is different and also won't allow that.
No way around I guess? Only activating my own subscription?
Only works for games and add-ons (dlc) on the Microsoft store. So Ubisoft, EA and Battle.net games cannot be shared at the moment.

I'm confused. What's the difference between the "Micorosoft account" and the "Store account"?
I want to share my gamepass with a friend's computer, but I don't want them to access my microsoft account.
The Microsoft account is the one that it used in game so unlocking achievement and saving progress too. The store account is used for getting licences so they can play any games/DLCs you have. They will not have access to your emails or one drive and they will not be able to see your payment methods.

No, you can only share games that are available on the Microsoft Store
Warning This does work very well! Credit but however if you are using this to play Minecraft Java Edition You will not get very far since you have to be in the same microsoft account on microsoft store and the launcher to verify in-game ownership!
3rd party stores don't work unfortunately, such as the Minecraft Launcher, EA, Battle.net and Ubisoft. You can play Minecraft Bedrock though.

It worked but i have an another problem, when i try to launch sea of thieves, it says that the id of the periphery of my CLiP license doesn't correspond to the periphery id with the linked periphery license, is that because the Microsoft store account is not the same as my profile on pc which i want to play with?

You will need to contact support. support.microsoft.com/home/contact this issue happens if you chnage some parts in your PC such as motherboard or you chnage your region.

You do not need anything open in the background and you can share with 10 devices at once including your own.

You'll need one account per person but only one account needs ultimate

Hi, I have a question. I reacently uninstalled a game for a bug fix and want de reinstall it. But the microsoft account that has 'bougth' the game, is the microsoft accoutn that i want to use to play the game. Therefore it only allows me to install the game when logged in at the 'main' account so to speak. If I install the game with that account, will I be able to play the game using the second account (which is also part of the "microsoft family") without it having to install yet again for the second accoutn? Thanks
If I understand you correctly you have two Microsoft accounts that both have separate games on them.
If this is the case you will need to sign into the account on the store that has the game you deleted then when it is downloading you can sign back into the other account.

After some struggle i managed to get into the following situation: i logged in with the account that owns the game in the Microsoft store and logged in with the account that does not own the game in the Xbox app. For some reason i can now install the game form the Xbox app while logged in with the account that does not own the game.
Would this mean that if u download the game here that i can play it via the account just like it was before i uninstalled the game? Does that make sense?

This does work! Was able to share my girlfriends Xbox account that had gamepass. W video for sure.
I got everything done correctly and minecraft seems to work fine with more than 2 ppl co-op but the rest of the games like among us, house flipper, no man's sky, powerwash and stranded deep those all close the game about 25mins later. is it just me?
Is there an error message when the game crashes. You could try running the troubleshooter support.xbox.com/help/games-apps/troubleshooting/troubleshoot-performance-and-stability-issues-in-pc-games
@@aRandomMadman There is no error code. It closed the game clean back to desktop in order roughly about 30 mins. The device that listed at the bottom(oldest) in the ms/device/content is the only one that stays alive. the rest of pc gets kicked out(even with store accnt logged on). I switched accounts between the pc to see the differences. Oh I am using US account but in s.korea in region.

@@aRandomMadman I tried re-installing games from xbox app (i installed games from ms store 1st), but same thing happens. I dont think it is allowing anymore or at least in my region.
@@aRandomMadman I found the solution, actually weeks ago. I updated xbox app, game bar, and game services all 3 of them and it wont kick me out at 30 mins. Those 3 are all listed in the xbox app>settings>info> versions. I hope this helps others too.

This methord only works for games that you can download via the Microsoft Store. 3rd party stores such as Battle net and EA and Ubisoft do not work.

Yes you need to use different accounts but you use the same Xbox game pass subscription. You can leave your Xbox as it is. And yes sign in as the non game pass account first.

You can play Minecraft for Windows (bedrock), Minecraft Dungeons and Minecraft Legends. Minecraft for Java is a game launcher like EA Play and Ubisoft therefore you cannot share it. You can only share games that are available to buy in the Microsoft Store.

It only works with games via the Microsoft Store not 3rd party stores so no EA or Ubisoft games will work via this method all other games will work though.

@@raze0099 EA doesn't allow it but if you just wanted to play together and you have Ultimate you could stream FIFA via cloud gaming and give your friend your EA log in details then they could play with you. I personally would not give anyone any of my log in details but that's the option. Unless they brought EA Play for £19.99/$29.99 for the year.

No sorry, cloud gaming requires a subscription for each account. There is no sharing cloud gaming.

I know that trick for years but now my friends and I getting kick after like 1 hour.
Make sure there are no updates in Windows Update. Try signing out of the Xbox app and signing back in. If that doesn't work you could try to contact Xbox Support.

how to copy games from a pc to pc?
Unsure if this will work or not. You'll need a external drive with enough storage, go to the xboxgames folder such as c:/XboxGames then copy the game to the external drive then plug it into the other pc and copy the files to the XboxGames folder on there then open "gamelaucherhelper" in the content folder
