Nice! Where is this at would love to check it out this weekend. Dang I just seen in your description where it’s at. Thanks for the video I’ll be there this Saturday morning
Casey Mulligan I went there yesterday and I couldn’t find those trials, I took the fire truck road all the way up 😅. Can you guide me from the fire truck trail on where to go to hit those trials. I park down on Alhambra parking lot where you pay to park.
Albert Rubalcava go all the way up to the top where the marsh pond is. Once you go through that cow gate after the pond you take a hard left into the trees
Help pls! I can’t find any trails called Hank and Frank in Briones. I’ve looked in 3 different MTB map apps n 1 hiking map app and zilch. Two posters gave different locations and I searched around those suggestions best I could, but came up empty. I checked out every trail and none are named Hank and Frank; maybe this is a local name? I’d be super appreciative if someone can give usable info to find this line. I’m ISO long windy successive turns on a single/double track!. Directions using the trail names in MTB Project would be ideal. Thanks in advance for your help.
The way I judge the gopro effect is: Looks like going uphill = slightly steep Looks like going downhill = normal steep Looks steep on gopro = Holy Shit
where in the willy wonka is this trail
Couple years ago this trail used to be cracked down by ranges and trees. not any more?
A few years ago it got torn up but it's all good now. Never had a problem with a ranger but I never see them.
@@CaseyMulligan23 sounds good, thanks
Damn that looks fun! Great riding
Thanks but the trail doesn't look anything like that now it needs rain really bad.
Is this trail still up? I live in the east Bay Area and wanna check it out with my brother, does anyone know how to get there? Thanks
glad to see you like the middle section i built
Love the middle section, awesome work 🤘
Thank you!
Man this looks super fun! I’ll have to check this out sometime soon!
Where in Briones would I park, where would I go?
Frank and hank? Is this Dead Rising but in real life?

It's a secret trail you won't find it
To anyone who has never been on this trail, don’t be fooled by the GoPro effect. It’s fun as hell but way steeper than it looks
The way I judge the gopro effect is:
Looks like going uphill = slightly steep
Looks like going downhill = normal steep
Looks steep on gopro = Holy Shit
I went to briones today for the first time. What’s the name of this trail?
How big is the climb there?
Not very long, just pretty steep
Casey Mulligan I have a 1x10 drivetrain and some high climbs are too much for that setup. It’s either I’m out of shape or 1x10 can’t help.
Get a 28 or 30 tooth chainring, best quick, cheap option
I got a 30t already
Wow, this looks really good! I'm going to have to check it out.
One of the best kept secrets for sure
Not really a secret but it is underrated. The fire road climbs keep most people away.
@@CaseyMulligan23 that's one thing i'm really glad about. Keeps all the brake draggers away and trails brake bump free... :)
@@mrpercussive also it's relatively empty compared to other parks so you can get a good socially distant ride in
@@CaseyMulligan23 good to know. I haven't ridden any dirt in weeks!
Sweet content man. Where is this trail at, I'm an avid biker, I won't wreck the trails 😀
It’s in Briones at the top of the loop, once you pass the cow gate right after the marsh pond take a hard left
Do Texas Toast next
You got it
Still have to pay for parking at Alhambra
Never seen anyone collecting fees
@@CaseyMulligan23 the other thing is what connecter to get to hanks
@@codysmtbchannel2404 up Alhambra Creek until you get to the first gate, look to your right
So many lines to take. Nice!
Yeah lots of combinations
What city is this in
