I made on out of treated pine it’s not stained yet still green but looks solid
Been waiting to see this one since I saw it on Instagram. Worth the wait, very nice. Welcome back.
Thanks man, it’s been a bit of a task to get back on getting these videos out. The last months of 2020 really kicked my butt. Glad to see there are still people waiting for my videos.
Nice work 🖒☺
Thanks!
Beautiful! Going to go on my honey do list!
It was a ton of fun.
@@WoodWorkLIFE I bet!
Looks great!
Thanks man, its even better in person.
Came out beautiful Rick!
I can't wait to have you guys out for a BBQ. How is the new shop coming together?
@@WoodWorkLIFE Oh yeah! That'll be awesome. It's coming along brother, almost all up and running - if super messy
Great job. Looks awesome. But who else wants to know how the hell the plywood benchtop worked out.
Me me me, I am working on the edit for the final part to the workbench video now. Should be out next week (like for real this time.)
Jesus, my back hurts just watching this 😂 fair play 💪💪💪 looks amazing
Ya, I was certainly sore after this.
Did the steel brackets stain the cedar?
Is that Simpson strong tie system on your bottom posts?
Man, that looks great. Did you need a second mortgage for all those beefy cedar beams/posts? 🤣
It was pretty pricey, fortunately I ordered from somewhere local and before all the timber prices shot up too crazy.
Pergolicious.I'll just let myself out.
Ha ha ha, That would've probably been a better black eyed peas song than what they came out with. (P.S. I did literally lol when I saw this)
Beautiful work man, really good. Just a constructive criticism, the music is a little bit laugh!
Just setting a chill mood, glad you liked it
Can you send me a copy of your plan I would really like to build one of these at a hardwood skids
Great job!! What was the size of your pergola? And what was the cost of all that cedar? Keep up the great videos.
It was a 7' by 10' pergola that is 10ft tall. That is approx $3k worth of cedar. The hardware kits from strong tie vary.
@@WoodWorkLIFE thanks for the reply.
Do you do this for a living?
I have in the past. Now I mostly do it as a hobby.
@@WoodWorkLIFE What do you do for work now?
I’m in technology.
