- This seems to be a crowd favorite when passing through Fenwick Island, so we stopped by Ocean Side Pizzaria for a quick pizza review! We also had a few people recommend it, so it was a 'must try' for us.

Asked for a review of this place about a year ago. Happy to see you finally made it there! Been my favorite pizza place for 30 years. So many good memories sitting around a table at the beach house eating that pizza.
Glad we FINALLY made it too! It was awesome, we really enjoyed it. They recently renovated the inside, but it still had that very nostolgic feel. Thanks for recommending it!

You have to try pizza from shottis point by k coast! Best pizza ive had since being in Massachusetts last fall (and im posting this with a ponzettis hoodie on lol)
MA pizza is good, I grew up between Worcester and Boston. Someone else recommended Shottis Point, it's on our "must try" list. Thanks for recommending it!

Grease is because of the quality of the cheese- but Id try it-
I'd give it a 5 just for looks alone! That looks delicious. Wonder why there was so much grease on top when there's no pepperoni? But...we may just give that one a go too!. Thanks Jay and family!
I've heard a few things about the grease....it's either olive oil or a higher end cheese. But I honestly don't know. It reminds me of a pizza to eat after a night out drinking hahaha. Thanks for watching!

I knew of this place JB- during my stays at Fenwick, never got the chance to try it firsthand, however.
I learned an interesting fact- about the grease. I thought it was from the pepperoni toppings myself.
Since there wasn't any pepperoni on this one- it has to be something else.
Cheese is the difference. Cheap cheese doesn't produce as much grease as really good cheese will tend to do.
Sorta a NY thing- when I watched a recent pizza review- New Zealand family tries their first slices of real NY pizza.
Their comparison between their hometown pizza and the one they ate in their hotel room had me going.
That was how it was explained to them- from the pizza staff of their place of purchase.
How much grease is on the bottom of the box or on your plate will give you a clue to how good or bad the cheese is.
Looks good gang- I can smell it from here. In about 30 days from now- heading to OC for my own taste testing entertainment.
Very interesting about the cheese, I heard the same thing! This was a good one, I've passed it a million times and always thought it looked like a classic old school pizza joint.

I could tell when you opened the box it was a greasy pizza and that is without pepperoni on it.

I love the brick oven style, so I'd prefer albertinos. This one was very good too! It had that same sweet sauce.

Better than greasy ass Grottos’s pizza made from frozen dough.
Someone told me the old Grotto's before they became a chain was awesome. Maybe so, but there are a lot better pizzas out there now.

Mediocre pizza at best.
I thought of it more as a hangover pizza because of the grease, but I couldn't say it on camera because I didn't want to try to explain what a hangover is to my kids 🤣
