i love that kid that gives every place a five! that means when he eventually DOES give a low score, its for sure a place to avoid. I wish my family had been this fun growing up.
OMG I worked at Billy's Sub Shop in the late 60's when I was a kid. They were very nice people to work for, and when I was sick one time, Billy's wife took me to the doctor and let me recuperate at their house. It was right above Marty's Playland.
Maaaaaaan, most comfortable hat ever. It was through a company called Cubera, but I think they went out of business. I need to find out who makes them and design my own, I love it!
I must've driven by this place thousands of times. Coming down this year and will be checking them out. If i can tear myself away from Lombardi's. I love their pizza. Did you guys ever have anything else from there?
Your youngest son who gave it a five was going for his second slice - that says it all right there. If you all only ate one slice or part of a slice - I would be worried!!😆
The pizza looked pretty good...When we were down in April we were both extremely disappointed with the Subs...Maybe it was a fluke but one bad experience ruins it for me...I will never go back
Hey I get it. That's like us with saltwater 75. I'm sure we'll give them another chance some day. April and may are always hard because they are trying to staff up for the summer and train new employees. That's why we never try a new place in April or may.
I've had mixed experiences. People need to keep in mind that not everything is made by the same person every day. I've had drastically different subs and pizza. Sometimes it's a new girl doing the subs, or sometimes the entire place is staffed with teens in the evening who are training each other. It's nothing that would keep me away but I haven't seen consistency from them. They are #2 or #3 on my list.
Excellent point! We always stay away from most seasonal places until June for that reason...new staff/training. I don't know if they are open year round, but last time we had their subs they were great.
Yeah, we did a review on it, just go to my pizza review Playlist and you'll see it. I can't remember what we scored it, nick was obviously a 5....but I remember it was pretty good

Lombardi's was good too! We got the italian subs a few years ago and really loved them.

The kids and I got italian subs from there for Ashley for Mothers Day years ago....we all thought they were real good!
