I have several Cashion rods. I got some of the first ones he sold years ago. It is awesome to buy from a local business knowing the product is made right here in the USA, actually 1 hour from me. He even makes all the blanks in house. No chinesium mess here. I aint on anyone's pro staff just giving a thumbs up to a good family man 1st and good business guy with a good product 2nd.
This past summer I used the VMC weedless Neko 1/0 for 5” senkos and hookup ratio was SO much better than the smaller wacky hooks I had been using before. Heard about em here first, so thanks for the reminder of how good they are. Only problem with the VMC rings: I sometimes have fish grab worm and yank it right out the ring so all I have when I reel in is the hook and ring. I think was using size 7 so maybe that was the problem? Gonna stock up on 4-6 size and experiment.
Those rings are awesome I’ll never use anything else ever again, don’t even need the pliers , regular needle nose work fine , slip ring on the very end and open pliers the opposite way they are supposed to o work slide your senko on a half inch or so pull pliers out and slide ring up the worm where u want it by hand , super easy , love the channel thanks for the vids🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Awesome advice! I do wacky a lot. I have the crossover rings but haven't used them much. I'll try again with the alternate orientation! Thanks, Nathan! Keep the tips coming! Roger, The Smiling BassHole

I use the same hook for my wacky rigs. Hook up ratio is through the roof compared to most all "wacky" hooks.
I absolutely love the VMC Crossover system. It’s my go to technique.
It’s great!

Thanks!
I think I remember telling you about the cross over ring last year, glad to see you find it so useful 😉

Good luck!
Florida…….I wish……it was -4 where I live last night.
It’s 19 in north Alabama. I couldn’t deal with -4.
Great explanation,Nathan !
Do you wind the leader onto the reel? Thanks.
With a 10 foot leader. Yes he would. I normally tie a 15-20 foot leader with an fg and it reels in and casts perfectly
@@victory10111hook thanks. Some say to leave the connection knot outside of the reel. Depends on leader length obviously.
You can!
5:10 you can do WHAT? 😆
Might get a doctor to check out that red spot on the back of your calf.
