Know some ex Qantas 767 drivers and they used to enjoy flying into Wellington, they used to comment on its relatively short operating landing capability

they shared AIR NZ AND QANTAS a 747sp 1981-1985 well before this era when a better fit would have been leasing TAA OR ANSETT 727-200's or either's A300 or later 767's to fill the gap after the dc8 era ended.

Wow those were the days! I remember flying into Wellington in 1992 on an ANZ 767 seated in the smoking section... 2nd to last back row! hehe
