@BigCJ You’re truly a great Inspiration As I’m Coming from the wicked streets of Los Angeles gang life due to your videos I’m transitioning to the gig life.. Thanks for all the Informative information.. Please keep up the good work Boss 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
Yo bro good video keep doing your thing. I would never tell you how to run your business but just suggest getting some work shirts made. ( for advertisements, for a sense of uniformity and professionalism, but most important for your safety.) Black man at my door with a white tee. I know its innocent but but people are ignorant.
Hello CJ. Been following you since fall 2023. When I sign up for Senpex, do I use my business address or home address? I have my LLC, EIN and have a new 2023 Ford Transit-350. Thanks
Everything is BUSINESS....from what I was informed....tax write offs and credits for end of year to my knowledge....but research trust you'll find everything you're looking for!!!
You can use your personal or business. I used my personal address. My registered agent charges me for mail, so I use my personal, but long as you use your business account to get paid, you should be good to go.
So all the apps require touch freight!??...man some of those new washers are super heavy to load and unload!!....do you also have to connect the appliances???
Not all loads are touch freight, some are no touch, but not often. Easy work long as you have a Dolly and a ramp or liftgate. Easy work with the right equipment.
@coffeeblogger7441 No, drop off only. Some people do the hookup as a side job after they complete the orders, but you are not required to hook up due to liability. Sorry missed that last part.
Hey man great job with all that info I want to thank you for that and one question how do you build your website can you give me a couple of tips My name is Anthony I live in Kansas City thank you again and have a blessed day
All local runs, most gig apps are short distances, so I can make anywhere from $5 per mile all the way to $20 per mile. Only time I have to deal with deadheading back is when I accept a long delivery, like 60 to 80 miles. You have to deadhead back with those. Some of them pay up to $2 per mile, so not too bad.
Sorry, no way to get around it unless you personally know someone working on the inside. You just have to wait. I recommend shooting them an email every few months. Took me several months to get on quite a few apps.
None in particular. All these apps have their pros and cons. Sign up for as many apps as you can, that's the best advice I can give you. Roadie is not that great where I'm at, but it's a great app to use during dead time.
Can’t wait for the next video brother, question, do you know any TH-camr doing this cargo van business in san Francisco California, just wondering to see how is it down there if you stay locally and no OTR, thanks brother
I don't know anyone personally, I've seen videos of DG Got Hustle, but I think he moved to Nevada. He was in the Bay Area doing otr and local work on a few gig apps like Curri. Maybe check out his older videos.
Hi we have a sprinter van and we've never done any delivery, expediting, carrier jobs. Lately we have been out of work and we want to put our sprinter to work. But we don't know. How can you help me with this please?
Well, your sprinter van can be used with every gig app I use on my channel. You can sign up for as many gig apps as you can, Dispatch, GoShare, Frayt, Dolly, Senpex, Roadie, Bungii, Curri, Dlivrd, Taskrabbit and more. Google courier companies in your area and apply. Make business cards and start passing them out. My channel documents my journey from my very 1st day to where I am now. You can binge watch my videos from the beginning and see how I have progressed. I provide as much guidance and advice in my videos. Best I can do for you.
Most apps pay weekly. Some pay twice a week, some every 5-7 days, some pay next day. They are all different. The pay shown on the order is what you get, the amount that goes to the gig company is already taken out, so you get what the pay says on the order plus 100% of any tips. Some apps charge a fee if you want same or next day pay,, but I don't use that feature.
Progressive, I had that same policy you have and was paying $900 per month. I don't need that insurance for the work I'm doing. I have my states minimum commercial insurance now, paying $300 per month. California is out of control, that's why I got the heck up outta there
Was looking for how the app stuff looked and paid not so much how to load things lol no offense intended just providing information on what we are looking for. 👾
Ok Big Dawg, i see ya. Duce Dime stand up. I like ya style bruh. The power of compounding consolidation, getting the most out of your time. 🫡 Maybe I'll see ya around.
Put ur moving blanket under your ramp.👊🏿
Blankets for those ramps !!
God bless you brother CJ . Love your hustle !
I can’t wait until I start my own cargo business too !!!

Use your moving mats to cushion your ramp 👌

I think you need some plywood on the floor of the van. And maybe some insulation on the inside of the walls too.

Roadie Dispatch and Senpex!!!! On all 3 plus some!!!!
Direct Booking???? So building your website is how you are doing direct booking???
Thanks man!
I follow you all the time I watch your videos. What is the name of the app you use. I am in a Houston, TX area?
All the apps listed in the video, including Haultail, Curri, Dlivrd catering app, and Frayt, just to name a few others.
Hey, try insulting with plywood, it reduces the noise and keeps the truck clean….

Are all these runs local? If not How do you pay for the backhaul miles?

It looks like some of the gig apps arent accepting new users. Any advice on how to get around this hurdle?
Sorry, no way to get around it unless you personally know someone working on the inside. You just have to wait. I recommend shooting them an email every few months. Took me several months to get on quite a few apps.
Nice work. I’m trying out Roadie now. Any others similar to Roadie that you would suggest?
None in particular. All these apps have their pros and cons. Sign up for as many apps as you can, that's the best advice I can give you. Roadie is not that great where I'm at, but it's a great app to use during dead time.

I live in Texas aswell
What do you need to get started
A vehicle, regular insurance or commercial, most apps charge $30 to $35 for background check. Clean driving record, that's about it.
Whats the make and model of your cargo van?
Did it come with ramps or did you have to purchase separately?
