I personally prefer the look of a dirty lab coat with either a gas mask, welding goggles, or surgical mask. If the character sides with the institute, I would switch the dirty lab coat for either an institure lab coat or the clean vault tec lab coat.
@@billclinton328 no you have to kill the Courser in Greentech Genetics as part of the main story and if you do the minutemen ending you have to kill the raiders in the museum of freedom and the deathclaw outside
(1) Use some booze in Sanctuary and take your Intelligence to base 11 (12 with bobblehead). Every point from base or gear will make your crafting produce more XP (and much of your XP will come from crafting). Labcoat, road goggles, and ushanka makes for a good "crafting outfit" to wear when making chems (sleep first as well, with a lover if you can). (2) With Charisma and barter perks, buying chems to combine becomes a way to trade caps for XP, buying fertilizer (shipments can be got from Abernathy Farms and Grey Garden as well as Diamond City) for more Jet chems works as well. Likewise, you can finish the Diner with both Trudy and Wolfgang alive and have both the general merchant and an early game drug dealer. (3) If you front the barter perks, you can do without the scrounger and scrapper perks and just purchase piles of ammo and scrap. Especially once you get into the Raider Settlements, you will be drowning in caps. Likewise, while the "controller" perks are good, they are hardly necessary for the build's story - so you could shift those out for any other play-style if you preferred. Building up your Endurance and getting Perception up for Demolition for your explosive weapons are both good choice. (4) You can use cages and troughs to have several brahmins at every settlement (which when linked up will let you craft Jet forever, as brahmin make fertilizer at a rate of 1 per day, max 3). Likewise, once you go Raider, FILL your settlements with chem dispensers. They add a chem per day and I've emptied them with over 30 chems built up in them. They include Jet, Psycho, and Buffout - which you can them combine for incredible amounts of XP. (5) Gage is a terrible companion. He hates drug use - and this isn't an addict build, but an active chem use build. You would be better off trusting no one and going Lone Wanderer. The quest from the upper stands bar can put you into a ton of chems early on (and you will be down near diamond city looking for Cricket early on anyways). (6) Spray and Pray (later the Kiloton Rifle) and other explosive weapons are a fine choice (the Combat Shotgun is good as well - and can be "auto" for the Commando build). You really want an outfit that you can put armor on - so you can run the bio-com mesh and extend your chems even further. Having an outfit for crafting, one for exploring, and one for bartering before you max the barter rate with perks/mags/etc make sense and let you switch outfits for various tasks. (7) This is a great build for settlement building, since you want good settlements for resource use and the building of settlements is its own source of XP.
XP, of course. That is why getting your Intelligence as high as possible is always a good choice, and makes a build where your XP comes from crafting move much faster. Base 10, drink booze, read SPECIAL book into Intelligence, then Bobble and you will have base 12. Add in more with gear (lab coat or armor pieces, road goggles, and an ushanka hat/legendary combat armor helm from Covenant/etc). You can get more XP with squirrel soup, Berry Mentats, XCell, Daddy-O, sleeping with a lover, using the Overseer's Desk from Vault 88, and once you can use the Feast from Far Harbor. When you are going to take a mountain of chems from your vending machines and combine/craft hundreds of chems in a single run, it pays to jack up your XP earning to the max. Night Person can also be used, since you can sleep until the dark for more XP.

I think I found a cool way to roleplay which settlements to use early game and which to save for Nuka World. Integrating her business into already existing settlements would be difficult so early game focus on empty settlements you just have to clear out enemies to gain access to. Use Recruitment Beacons and Roleplay that the settlers can only stay if they work for you and sell your chems. People without a home would be more desperate and accept. Use Nuka world to invade already populated settlements to tear them down and make more people seek shelter in your safe havens, forcing the commonwealth to depend on you.
I feel like she would also have a fully upgraded robot companion with her, if her charm doesn't work im sure the robot would scare em, and if intimation doesn't work why would she waste valuable ammo on junkie scum (i think you know what im getting at)
I had made almost exactly this same build. My character is a male, and if you want a great aesthetic combo, the sack hood and faded trench coat is siiiick.
Interesting build! Chems in this game is amazingly fun to play around with. After discovering them all my characters has had 7+ int for the Chemist perk.
OMG explosive SMG in slow-motion looks SO COOL! You finally did a build similar to something I've actually done (I skipped the Animal perks though). High-Cha means you can have an army following you around and it's easy to RP.
I love playing as the chemist. In my play through I lean heavily into the automatron dlc and build an intimidating robot sidekick to do all the dirty work and carry all of the scrap I collect
with some tweaks this could be a more legitimate wasteland doctor with a habit build. don a standard lab coat (the vault-tec version isn't weave-able), with the syringer to soften up targets before blowing them away. you could also carry a blade, more for roleplaying being prepared for emergency surgery than melee, though stronger blades like pickmans and throatslicer are good against low level targets (flies, roaches, lesser ghouls) even without high strength. your sales should be more focused on providing settlements with "legitimate" meds with the combat chems saved for emergencies. Your Hippocratic oath takes a beating in the wasteland but, like arcade gannon before you, you come to realize that sometimes the best way to prevent harm is to remove the source. for companions, curie is an obvious choice but cait could be interesting. you see some of your own habit in her and roleplay moderating her usage in a "harm reduction" strategy until she decides to go clean. Or you could give in to the waste and go walter white, the choice is up to you.
i actually used this build with a syringer overhaul mod and altered it to use non auto rifles and her muscle was a robobrain/sentry hybrid by the time i quit playing her
This build is interesting because like most of your recent builds it is less a new idea and more the refinement of previous ideas. For exampl you could easily take a point from endurance and put it into strength so that when you get both bobbleheads you will have them where you ultimately want them. Likewise with putting the skill book into agility you can use the trick that uses alcohol to lower your intelligence and use the Special book there and make it a point to hunt down the agility bobblehead early on. If you are planning to keep popping pills anyway then addiction is less of an issue when you are using them. All in all an interesting build and a fun back story.
Hey guys! I was wondering if maybe this would be better than all caps. I've been asking for so long now. Can you do a video about the future of the factions of skyrim? thanks!
Totally Not Bruce Wayne I personally treated the scarecrow build as a far harbor based build. I killed all 3 factions on the island and roleplay as if I am a hallucination caused by the fog.
I asked you guys a while ago in one of ur videos to do a chem dealer. And idk if you got this build on ur own or saw mine/others comments. But this is a wayyyy better build then wat i expected. Good job. Keep it up
There's nothing quite like being chem resistant and a chemist to concoct crazy combinations of high addictive and powerful chems, coming across a Legendary Deathclaw out in the wild, deciding that today is the day to take every single drug you have in your inventory probably like 15 or 20 different chems and beating the living shit out of it with a baseball bat. I will never stop taking drugs in Fallout games, it has become how i play the game... my character needs help..
Ooh you should do some kind of pistol wielding dame who’s like a secret agent for the railroad. Really high charisma, wears the red fancy dress or the sequin dress, and uses the deliverer. Used her charm to get what she wants, but is also pretty ruthless with her enemies when it comes to a fight.
I want to see a build that I call, "The Fisherman"The Fisherman uses the overboss power armor and when he doesn't need it, he uses the rescue diver suit. The Fisherman uses a harpoon gun, preferably The legendary one named, "Admirals Friend" and the Bloodletter fishing hook. You will mostly be using things that look as if there was a fisher division in the military. I don't know if there are any other fishering like weapons that are in the game, but you can also use pickmans blade when not in power, or the butchers hook, along with using The legendary Pull Lever Action Rifle, "Old Reliable." You probably would want to focus in luck, strength, perception, and maybe agility stats because this sound like the main things that a Fisherman has to have. Like if you want to see this build
I currently love doing a minotaur build. Pack Buffalo head, wildman rags and some armour pieces attached wielding an upgraded sledgehammer or battleaxe stampeding around
I’m making a Mad Chemist Build but as for her power she can use rifles and various explosives. She utilized all forms of intellectual power, anything that requires intelligence isn’t far from her grasp.
I just realized something nates served in 2nd battalion 108th infantry regiment of us army during sino-American wars which is same group which a man in mothership zeta dlc in fallout 3 who was in that same group during the battle of operation Anchorage was abducted by alien who you can unfreeze in his cryopod in alien museums/ labs. so did nates also served the military in operation Anchorage and if he did, did he witness the man abduction?
You should really do a build that uses the Lorenzo's Artifact as their primary weapon... if I'm not mistaking that's one of the weapons you have never included in a build before :)
I don't wish to sound boring, I f I do, I apologise . But can you please do a settlement builder friendly build? I like the diplomat for such purposes but I think a character that focuses on helping the settlements out at an early stage would be nice...
An idea that just might work is an adeptus astartes build based around the space Marines from warhammer 40000. Once they had the ability they would wear power armor constantly and would be proficient in guns, energy weapons, explosives, and melee. The space marine would obviously join the brotherhood as the artificial intelligence of synths is heretical against the will of the God Emperor and the xenos and mutants of the wastes must be purged.
Penetrator and a gaus rifle to replicate a tech sniper, rocket launcher with a targeting computer to replicate a smart weapon, hacker perk for netrunning. I think I could make it work.
An Idea for a modification: 1. Use the S.P.E.C.I.A.L Book on Perception instead of Agility. You can still get two Agility for the Command Perk by finding the Bobblehead. It's harder that way, but it's possible; I've done that before. 2. Don't use Gun Nut. You only need it to get rid of the Surpressor, and the Surpressor is actually quite good. 3. Don't use Animal Friend either. It's not as usefull as Intimmidation and Wasteland Whisperer. 4. Use the Perk points you saved on Perception untill you have 5 Perception. Then put the rest into Demolition Expert. The exploding bullets of Spray'n Pray are enhanced by this, making this weapon even more powerfull. With Commando and Demolition Expert maxed out, Spray'n Pray is absolutely insane. Not only does this make your Chemist much stronger, it also fits well with the Roleplay of...welll...a Chemist. Explosives and Drugs are both mainly chemistry.
Only have one opinion, it should just be the smg. It should be all fast fire rate weaponry. She would have sort of a “Insane drug fueled multiple personality” ty deal. Like a Tank girl (I hope someone knows what I mean) kinda vibe but I totally live for your content man. I’m here rewatching old videos lol.
Fudgemuppet, you guys couldve made like a Hulk inspired build. A scrawny, charismatic scientist, who "transforms" into his power armor and does a bunch of chems who kills everything and talks very little.
Do a hunter s Thompson inspired build, only using a magnum, hoarde all the chems available and get binged out of your mind and write and explore your drug enduced frenzy’s, I already know the bucket hat in far harbor would work great, but I think that would be such an awesome vibe for a play through
Hi, man, I'm a big fan of your work, I really like the builds, I think they are very creative and interesting. I started playing Fallout: New Vegas because of your videos. but anyway, I would like to ask you to create; "The Greaser Build" this would be a build focused on charisma and meelee, with some attributes to open locks and steal he would have a background of fights and violence as a child, so she would have learned to fight and steal, using a sharp vocabulary, could easily persuade and charm others. my biggest inspiration for this build in F: nv, was the character; Northon Williams, from the game Bully. I would like you to consider this request, thank you for being this great channel and I wish you all the best
In real life, drugs are used for pleasure. But in the fallout universe, they are used to boost someone's abilities. The only exceptions are things like Jet
How will she do DC Blues? First thing I'd guess is she's not going to share with Paul. At least not Paul's proposed way. 800 caps wouldn't pay for the chems in one of the six crates if buying to use. 70/30, maybe. Or just all. Then with the aftermath. I guess if when talking to Malcolm she pins the blame on Marowski, that will remove competition. Or she could sell the photo to Marowski in exchange for loyalty.
Don't forget to use the Atronach Stone.
Bram Vivier 😂😂😂
Bram Vivier hey it works
@defjusteman629honestly that reload reduction for certain weapons is truly detrimental
lol
I personally prefer the look of a dirty lab coat with either a gas mask, welding goggles, or surgical mask. If the character sides with the institute, I would switch the dirty lab coat for either an institure lab coat or the clean vault tec lab coat.

Lewis Smith or a trench coat

A new fallout 4 build. My prayers are answered

@@sentinellj yeah but a pacifist typically wouldn’t care about killing a deathclaw
You guys should bring back building faces
At least they aren't melted plastic anymore so that's a plus, right?
No
I agree
God, i love fallout 4. So many damn possibilities.
In terms of customization and FPS, yes its great but RPG side it fails at nearly every level

Run with Overdrive chem, Commando perk and Better criticals for sick dmg with luck investment
Raid marowski, do diamond city blues for good chem boost earlygame
whats the point of 10 intelligence if nerd rage is not used?
Did they patch the special book alcohol glitch? I can't get it to work.

I can see that the drama rages on.
yep
Drama? What drama?
Please, guide me, I like this petty internet drama
Search hx vs fudgemuppet
Megumin I just found out about this "drama" too, it's actually pretty stupid.
HX is a little toxic crying bitch, I mean 50% of his videos is self-inflicted drama, he even fights with kids.
The ultimate Drug Kingpin of the wasteland or Queenpin
Going to try this build. Nice video.
Howed it go
Nerd rage/ hulk build? focused on maximizing benifits from staying at low health?
June. Cleaver -- Drug Lord
MERCENARY BUILD PLEASE IV BEEN WAITING FOR WEEKS
TheGr1mm R3aper 4 been waiting for years too
Punisher build it's the perfect story. A military man going home family kills out for blood
The Chemist is a perfect spot for a mirelurk deb.
3:18 Holy shit this bih finna fly!!
Love this build. Im doing a chem build rn and it's so fun
10/10 would LOVE to see a Terminator build. Road leathers, minigun...ahh, such glory...
This character reminded me a lot of Dr. Poison from the most recent Wonder Woman movie. :D
You should really do a build that uses the Lorenzo's Artifact as their primary weapon... if I'm not mistaking that's one of the weapons you have never included in a build before :)
Amusingly, I actually started a build very similair to this about a month ago. Called him the Alchemist, cause she turns everything to gold.
you know what would be cool? The rest of the comic book character's, you've already done silver shroud so why not?
They did a Grognak build, but those are the only outfits in the game for those heroes. If you wanted to be the others you'd have to use mods.
I don't wish to sound boring, I f I do, I apologise . But can you please do a settlement builder friendly build? I like the diplomat for such purposes but I think a character that focuses on helping the settlements out at an early stage would be nice...
Grammar Police here! I'd like to say thank you for using correct grammar, you are a valued citizen of the Universe. Thank you!
Drugs drugs DRUGS
Which are good which are bad
Drugs drugs drugs
Ask your mom or ask your dad
Now we need Water Merchant and Watermelon Farmer buils:D
I mean. This is genius. Must try. Kudos.
Fallout 4 build: Flapper? It would be high in charisma, high in agility, high in luck, average in intelligence, low in endurance, and low in strength.
What about the perception?
I see your perception is quite high :^)
An idea that just might work is an adeptus astartes build based around the space Marines from warhammer 40000. Once they had the ability they would wear power armor constantly and would be proficient in guns, energy weapons, explosives, and melee. The space marine would obviously join the brotherhood as the artificial intelligence of synths is heretical against the will of the God Emperor and the xenos and mutants of the wastes must be purged.
I gotta put a twist on this, the Edgerunners build. Jet is basically a sandevistan in Fallout 4.
Penetrator and a gaus rifle to replicate a tech sniper, rocket launcher with a targeting computer to replicate a smart weapon, hacker perk for netrunning. I think I could make it work.
Would love to see a Chem using heavy weapon wielding power armor build that also wields one of the sexy variants of the sledgehammer
I think it’s funny that I named my first character the chemist and basically just play like this as is 😂
I took out the enemy turn perks out because there's already alot going on any i knew i wouldn't use it as much but still an awesome build.
The last time I was that early, HX had something original to say.
Who else thinks that micheal and scott should do their personal builds as an episode
Better idea: don't take the chem resistance perk, and use weapons with the addict legendary effect. Much stronger
A cool clothing choice as well is a gas mask
Why does she need Gun Nut? Doesn't Spray'n Pray come with max upgrades by default?
Please do a jack of all trades build.
I would like to see a future ninja/kunoichi build with the Chinese stealth suit, an automatron companion, and power armor optional
An Idea for a modification:
Remember to spend some time in Nuka World for that sweet, sweet Calmex Silk and the ever-useful Pick-Me-Up-Station
Love your vids
Why don't do a deathclaw fanatic build? That shoots deathclaw hands with the junk jet
Maybe the Chemist was the Junkie’s wife before the War??
Do a hunter s Thompson inspired build, only using a magnum, hoarde all the chems available and get binged out of your mind and write and explore your drug enduced frenzy’s, I already know the bucket hat in far harbor would work great, but I think that would be such an awesome vibe for a play through
And since he ran around with the hell’s angels you could bud up with the atom cats for role play, idk just some ideas
Might make a spin off of this build. Complete drug maniac but uses knives and stealth
Jumping into this build ASAP.
Hey FudgeMuppet, loving the videos as always, but how about a lawbringer/regulator type
That sounds interesting, how do you suppose it would go? Weapons, armor and essential perks?
Fear and Loathing in the Commonwealth
I'm telling you, if Bethesda ever did an itchy and scratchy game with the gore kills from fallout, it would be off the hook.
