Fun fact: These matrix sites *inhibit your fsd* when jumping to supercruise.

strange... could this be related to the Scythe's FSD-reboot missiles? the Thargoids are adapting, so they might start to strategize against human technology.

@@_The_Specter_ or maybe they’re growing ships there.. who knows? It also acts oddly. Instead of having a cut off range like mass lock and larger ships than you, it starts off at ~44 and gradually goes down from as you get further away.

At first glance I thought they're growing their megaships out of the ground (barnacle matrix looks like Titan heat vent; the site inhibits your FSD when you go to supercruise above it). But the sites aren't really symmetric, so *shrug*. We wait and see, I guess. :)
