Hi Ken, been thinking, as I'm a trucker here in England, get your self some vegetables but they put them in a microwave pot, stick them in your microwave for 3 min, get your self some chicken brest, boil the chicken for 8 mins there you have a dinner, baby corn full of sugar I have been told, sauce is the fatning thing. You don't want to much Also when snacking get your self some plum tomatoes, some thing to nosh on Give us a shout out Ken and stay safe

I saw you (1715) heading through Goodna on Friday afternoon and didnt envy you for the traffic and weather that was ahead of you - and chasing us east since Warwick. Glad to see you got through it relatively unscathed. If you want to cook veggies on the run, chop them up, put them in a tied freezer bag and cook them in a microwave. A microwave with the sensor cook is the easiest, but they can all do it. Your veggies will come out steamed, but just make sure you put a few small holes in the freezer bag to let the excess steam out while they’re cooking. If you forget to do that, the bag will over pressurise and explode.
Really great viewing 👍 Re; vegetables etc; if you can access microwave regularly, the bags of mixed vegetables are good; mix with a small can of salmon etc Thanks again Ken Safe travels

Good job you didn't ask Johnno for advice about cooking on the go, he has stated a couple of times at least on his channel that he doesn't indulge in that sort of thing. 🙂 PS: Don't forget that you can also eat vegetables raw. Things like celery, corn on the cob, peas in the pod etc are all quick to organise when not being cooked.

At least you got to Wallan and weren't stuck some where road side. Counting up the hours I recon I would have spent months sitting at Boundary Road, with nothing better to do than feeding $2 bits into the washing machine. Good on you for having a go at cooking, You could per cut enough veg for 2 or 3 days and put it in a plastic container in the fridge under the bunk. And you could do the same with the sauce as well. or just mix that in a bottle once you have the ratio worked out.... Not sure what the brothers policy is about cookers, but I've seen a few of the lads with them over the years. BCF have a good range of gas cookers that you can stuff into the side locker, and you can claim all that at tax time...
After that stir fry you don't need to eat for 3 days....hahahah.... Only a suggestion you should do a pajama review for line haul truck drivers and viewers like us....those black and white striped pj's looks like you're in jail.... Take care be safe see you on the next shoot....

You can buy bags of mixed fresh veggies in supermarkets, all ready to stir fry, no prep, just cook n eat .👍 that’s my go to. I premix all the sauce content and keep it in a bottle ready to go.
good on ya Ken. always found that most things on the front of the engine fail around 500-600k. You would think it would be a standard service to replace all those bits at 500k. Get off the sugar and wheat…..you will find you wont get as hungry….
I love boiled rice and baked beans, too easy. Try boiling up enough potatos for a day and eat when you are hungry. And as for fruit, choose a fruit you like and eat as much as much as you like. And there is TH-cam for more suggestions. 🤔
