I dont plug my patreon in the videos because I want to keep the content pure and timeless. However currently I am accepting for support in the early months as i recently quit my day job to push this series as far as it can go. If you visit the patreon page, there is a video that explains my whole story. / boundarybreak

He's covered wars out of bounds you know...
ToasterBoy your name. give it back. now.
No
whoah hey someone actually used this line in a real, creative fasion?
Man, fuck, i hate people who keep using good lines in situations that really don't fit together..
Long hair, leather jacket Well you dont covered wars you know
He's covered zoom-outs, you know.
When you take out all the Zombies, this game becomes about a middle aged man breaking into a mall on a national holiday, and breaking everything inside.
Welcome to shop lifting simulator 2006
That is also killing up the mall clown, Gun store owner, security guard, military, and civilians
You see low quality textures, I see incredible n64 graphics.
Father AxeKeeper More like Wii.
n64 has better textures, you mean incredible ps1 graphics
@@Joestarrr1337 what about the amazing ds graphics
Theres something oddly creepy about exploring dead towns and places outside of maps, does anyone else feel this way?
For me it's weird seeing the empty cars in the parking lot. Like, just a few hours prior people were sitting in them and now they're never going to drive them again. idk that's just me looking too much into a game lol
I feel the same way, I wish I knew a word to describe the feeling..
Its the reason ghost towns are eerie its because the sound of silence is scary
Kian Lee well and I think there's something extremely depressing seeing something (in this case cars) that was used by someone daily, and inhabited constantly by someone, and then knowing that the person that had used that so often is now likely gone.
Me too!
Can you make off boundary tetris please
Tetrisphere maybe
No just tetris. I wanna know how minos are made.
You should look up Frank's beta design. He looks all like "Me Frank! Me kill zombies!"
Wilfred Cthulu he does Look Like That
Wilfred Cthulu your everywhere dude
Me use tiny knife with chains to kill zombie.
Yep
As soon as I saw the notification I knew stipo was involved, no one knows dead rising better then him 🙂
Callum G me nigga
+Cycorg Videos We know

Its crazy how much of those maps are fairly detailed when you barely even see them that much. As much as I like it I can't help but think if time was wasted to some extent during development lol
My theory is that in development they weren't sure how far the player should go, so they just plotted out a rough render of a fairly large map and then added detail to what was ultimately decided as the playable arena.
Either that or they wanted to do more but scrapped it due to time constraints.
no they have story boards and a good idea of what they want in the game. they needed a mall, they wanted it to be in a mall. they needed rough cut stuff outside so you felt immersed. they had small poor maps for cutscenes. that sums it up
I wish they would just make a total remake of Dead Rising 1 with an entire open world instead of loading zones.
Adam Napolitano and maybe a few areas outside the mall
Im not sure but isnt dead rising 4 basically that
Kian Lee yeah but dead rising 4 is nowhere near as good as dead rising 1
Kian Lee
Dead rising 4 fucking sucks
Kian Lee dead rising 4 never happend
The Void in any game still gives me the creeps
Just a dark area in video games make me wonder.
I remember in high school when this game was relatively new, people used to say you could get out of the mall and run around the town if you beat the game on the hardest setting.
Another interesting video game myth?
There's something really disturbing about seeing Frank run like that
NotTravisVO ikr
It looks like a faster sprinting zombie running animation.
Idk if someone else said it , but I'm pretty sure the welded door area can be accessed through another part in the mall , where zombies do in fact spawn
It's at the starting area before they break in. Got to that area the other day, and dragged a survivor with me, just because I wanted to see if there was any way into the security room.
There was not. Just a LOT of zombies.
You missed a massive opportunity to check something we never get to see the inside of in this game. The infamous box franks drops out of the chopper at the beginning of the game.
In case you were curious, gfycat.com/BitterPettyHarrierhawk
Not sure how high your expectations should be though, exactly.
I always assumed the briefcase was filled with camera equipment, like lenses and stuff. I doubt Frank was carrying a copy of Half-Life 3 with him on the way to Willamette.
I'm pretty sure it was a gun case
Whenever I watch your videos I can just imagine what the characters must be feeling like, suddenly breaking through this Truman Show wall and seeing what the game world really is, that's gotta be messed up.
I like how frank is constantly booking it during the video. What a nice mod.
I have an irrational fear of going past video game boundaries and going into areas that you aren't supposed to be in while playing video games. Like the endless void, weird overlapping, glitching textures, and unfinished or low-poly areas freak the hell out of me. I get shivers and have to look away. But this Boundary Break series is really helping me get over it by everything being explained from a technical standpoint.
I wish I could run that fast In the actual game
It was originally for when you wore either the full MM gear, or just the boots, similar to what can be done with the Proto-Man outfit, in OTR. Most likely cut for being too broken, even for an end-game item.
Ay, my boy Joe Ingles!
Quickstep and skateboard dude
@@DohTheEntertainer83 you still run faster with the full MM gear, its just barely noticeable unless your skateboarding or using quicksteps
@@SandyDawn17 neat
*IT'S T-T-T-IME TO B-B-BOUNDARY B-B-BREAK*
Dead Rising 1 is my favorite in the series, so great! Dead Rising 2 Off the Record was really good too, haven't played 3 or 4 yet though
Honestly it's always amazes me how much polish and detail that was actually put into this game.
This is why I LOVE this channel. I used to spend ages staring with a sniper rifle at the view in the distance. 😊
Got an idea for a great episode yesterday. Injustice. With all those stage transitions I wonder how and where they are placed. That is pretty much the only reason why.
Yognier I believe people have actually covered out of bounds on injustice(mkx too), so you can probably find it online.
+Tyrese Oswald I would rather have him do it though because I love the way he does these.
STiP0 is tha MANNNN
This didn’t age well
@@sokaipaopu8208 not at all man lol. What the fuck
"I've covered games, ya know." -Shesez
holycowrap i've covered wars AND games ya know
LOVED this episode. This game was so hard back in the day. I never played the sequels, but I always admired this one.
The commentary for boundary break, never gets boring! :D
That pile of oranges looks like a coffin.
Sounds like a Game Theory
I absolutely love this, this is one of my favorite games and I learned so much from this episode. Perhaps my favorite TH-cam video simpy because I love Boundary Break and Dead Rising!
Anybody else realize the rear window of those low-quality car models use the same texture as the windshield? So essentially there's a steering wheel in the backseat!
Isn't it cool to see outside the mall?!? This is so cool and never seen before, as I hope we have all forgotten the godawful excuse for a game that rhymes with " Red Rosing 4".
Can you please do the some of the other Dead Rising games?
I actually really like it when youtubers do a big corny thank you at the end of their videos it just gives the video a nice warm and fuzzy vibe for me. It always takes me back to when the weird part of youtube was all there was and i'd come home from school, mess around with the everybody votes channel, launch the internet channel on my wii and watch a dumb random sketch or a rediculous cover of some chumbawamba song other than tubthumping that ended with some camera shy sort awkwardly giving there thanks to the five people who found there creation and liked it enough to dare share it with there friends. the sort of stuff that would never find it into my video recommendations in todays conditions and when it's said with that voice of genuine passion and kid like enthusiasm with that endearing boundary break jingle you always end your videos with I think it definately means something. It means i've found one of those few remaining sorts and that's awesome! :)
the amount of foot traffic near the mall would keep the fried chicken restaurant open!
I would love to see a Boundary Break of Bully: Scholarship Edition
Awesome I suggested this a few weeks ago and it was such an interesting episode!
Tkank you so much for covering this gem of a game, Deadrising is definitely among my all-time favorites!
You keep covering the games I love, jolly vibes all around on this channel! Thanks Shesez and STiP0!
this is awesome, this is my favorite game of all time(thanks to you and StiP0) keep up the good work, I always love these videos
Another awesome video and nice to see my buddy Stipo helping out with this episode. :)
A brilliant video! Much love! There was something so satisfying watching a tonne of zombies fall through a parking lot
FRANKly, this was a great video and helped with my BRAD mood. Now excuse me while I WEST for a bit!
(I'm not sorry)
perfect comment
Christian Arzamendi It seems as if I lost my KEYES to my CARlito
CARlito dear lord....
i'm in comment bliss right now looooooooooolllllllzzzzzzzz
Chuck you.
I've always wondered this as a kid playing this. I would spend hours just trying to break the game to get out of bounds but never could. Finally, after 12 years I get to see. Great job, stipo and shesez
Wow, the amount of detail put into some of these areas is amazing. They really wanted the player to feel immersed in the game.
"For lack of a better way of putting it: able to be walked through by Frank"
Non-collidable. That's what it's called. You're welcome.
You made my day better again! Awful day at work and boundary breaking nostalgia always cheers me up. You da best.
Do u still have the same job 2 years later?
Very good video! Stipo did a great job.
Just want to say, I love your show dude. Been watching you for a while and wanted to show some appreciation. Please keep doing what you're doing!
Hey man, I'm still being recommended your old videos! Here to help regardless. Love your content & good luck with the move.
Good stuff man! I see it turned out longer than expected. Love the vid!
Great work STiP0. Great work Shesez. I love walking past loading zones. Its one of the simple boundry breaking joys.
Games of the early 2000s were amazing and the developers really wanted to make the games great and put real work and energy into them its a shame where Frank Wests character went in dead rising 4, I refused to believe that it was Frank at all. Capcom PLEASE BRING BACK THE REAL FRANK! (Tj Rotolo)
They need to retcon it where, real Frank West meets the cast of 4 who are actors.
If I rewrote Dead Rising 4, let's see, OTR Frank West with beard, partner is Paul Carson, both make series of a Zombie Aftermath series, Willamette hasn't been lived in, like post apocalypse, zombie animals who act like Nemesis, swimming, everything is flooded. Anti Zombie SWAT team are allies.
I really didn't expect a game like this to be worth a Boundary Break episode but here it is. I've only played Dead Rising 2 so it's weird to see an episode on a game that i've never played before, still fascinating though.
thats really awesome that you did this, I always wanted to see an episode on dead rising!
It's funny, I actually watched a lot of Stipo's videos before seeing this channel. It's great that two of my favourite behind the scenes youtubers come together to work on something.
Hey sheesez,
i'm not like someone who only comes here for some games.
I watch every boundary break that comes in my sub feed :D
(Love it!) Half life would also be quite cool to see :D
ill do half life for people like you man!
Shesez I agree a half life episode would be good, maybe even comparing the original with the Black Mesa Hd remake might be interesting.
Thank you and i have never got hearted before :)
Half-life is fun to explore with.
Gives great insight on how some of the triggers work.
Shesez is probably one of the most genuine and nicest youtubers hands down. I'd love to meet and chat with him some day
I've really been enjoying this channel! I never knew so many people were so fascinated with boundary breaking! Glad to see a channel that thrives from this. It's always so interesting and humbling to see what is out of the players view.
I've always been into the Max Payne series.....there might be some pretty cool stuff to find especially in Max Payne 3. Given the draw distance and the cluttered city setting of Max Payne 3. Just a suggestion.
I'm anticipating your next video, whatever the game is!
See you all on the other side ;)
Omg so happy you made this video, I wanted it for so long thank you so much. Great video!
"Surprisingly, there is a floor here Frank can walk on." He's just that powerful: my man Frank can walk on ANYTHING
This is awesome. Love boundary break. keep the videos coming.
And awesome job there STiPO. I never really played this game but I did see a let's play on it. I never knew that they had open worlds in this game. Slap on a few more textures in the town and you could take the zombie slaughtering outside in the town. Imagine driving a riding mower through town mowing down zombies. That would be awesome.
I've never played these games myself, but its still cool seeing the stuff they managed to pull off with the environments.
Kinda like existential horror in a sense, imagine discovering your world is but one space floating in black void, with detail only being added in as you approach
STIP0 MY MAN
Oh, now I know what it feels like for people watching a lot of the other Boundary Breaks! Finally got to see a new perspective on one of my favorite games that I've seen tons of times :)
Still loving this series just as much as when I subbed after the Dark Souls one. You just keep improving. Love!
I’ve owned this game since it came out in 2006 and I had never seen that mother and daughter cut scene! Amazing!
lol most people don't expect attract screens / demos to play anymore. idle @ the title
I never seen Frank West run this fast! lol
Even with quick step... He doesn't really run as fast like in this video. :P
It's actually a unused animation I believe.
How does he do that in the video? Mods or just an earlier build before it was removed?
@@bayarea4153 Mod
I love how calm your voice is :D its nice to have for easy watching. love the vids man!
nice one Sheezes Dead rising 1 is like one of the most amazing games I know and I didn't even played it to know that
Wow, I was just playing the remaster of Dead Rising 1. Perfect timing for this video.
hey when your facing the stoping time stuff, super jumping, breaking the law of physics, the military, walking through walls, zombies, and hacking its just like a walk through a hacked, glitchy, broken, and a non-existent park
Dead Rising is now 15 years old
Justified and Gone Guru were the best songs in the game. It makes me smile to hear them again. They weren't even in the soundtrack CD...
I love your videos man, thanks a lot! I've always wanted to know what was out there of every game that i like, since a kid. Really good work.
Hey Shesez great work keep it up, I'm proud of you
7:45
As someone who works in a produce department, I wish I could stack oranges that square.
Pay raises for life.
7:40 the word you want is “intangible”.
Why do I like Frank's running animation like this.
Loved the video but I just felt like I should say that outside the security room in the hallway, you can actually access it through the entrance plaza and there are zombies in that hallway. But great video though!
Thank god STiP0's the expert when it comes to Dead Rising^^
A nice idea for an episode would be Shenmue.
There's a mod called the Exploration mod which is basically a debug disc with no clip enabled, you'll be surprised by the massive amount of details hidden in this game
The bit at 1:50, if you go all around the other side of the map, you can actually get to other side of the door and it is an insane amount of zombies, i eventually got through them all and then realised the door was welded shut
I was playing this just last night and thinking to my self how much I would have loved to see this.
All this extra detail even when the player hardly can see it. Hundreds of zombies loaded all at once, alongside hundreds of weapons, interactable objects, a day night cycle, the list goes on . And the game is barely 8 gigs. Incredible.
Nice vid. I love this game a lot, but man I feel old. It still feels like this game came out like 4-5 years ago, not 11!
do boundry break and flying camera thing on halo 3 please
So apparently Frank is fucking sonic or its been that long since I played it I don't remember just how fast he is
I love this game and this show so much. I'm so glad this exists.
I'm surprised people just hand you footage like this instead of making it themselves. Shows that these people like your content
A channel 100% dedicated to Deadrising?
Fuck yeah boi I'm there.
The zombie infection also turns any building that isn't in a shopping mall to JACK'S MARKET, apparently.
I love these videos, Keep up the awesome work! Also I hope you could make an Injustice Gods Among us boundary break. Also
I am willing to make the intro to the video if you want! :)
Despite a small amount of stuff to boundary break, it's still a great vid. NICE DUDE >:]
Someone should mod the shit out of dead rising and make it so you can go in the town
Wow, the Red Ring suddenly makes so much sense! if there was that much needless rendering going On!
I'm so happy this exists.
I wouldn't be able to handle this job. I get really wigged out at seeing outside the boundaries.
It's so interesting, though!
The quietness of the mall is fuckn scary sometimes and music doesn't can make it scary too
Fantastic episode, glad you covered dead rising!
