- In an interview with TMZ sports, Quinton Aaaron -- who portrayed Michael Oher in the 2009 film, ‘The Blind Side’ -- defended his former co-star, Sandra Bullock, from calls to return her Oscar amid new drama between Oher and the Tuohy family, the real-life subjects behind the film.
It is beyond asinine for people to even mention Sandra in this. She earned that award for a phenomenaI performance, she didn't take money from Michael Oher nor does she have anything to do with their family dynamics! RIDICULOUS!!

I imagine the filmmakers made a movie based on what the family told them. So can't blame Sandra for that. That being said, this shows the importance of producers to get more then one perspective in a biopic.

They don't always ask the people involved what really happened

The famous court scene, with the Black lady telling him she hates him.
When Rita Isbell said her victim impact statement.
Different news outlets interview the victim's sister, Rita and she said she didn't even know someone was making a movie.
She said they did the movie without any of the victims family acknowledgment or input.
The series brought back a lot of pain and bad memories for her and the other victims family.
The problem some people are having, the movie made Michael look a certain way, didn't get is input on what really happened.
He didn't get paid
and portrayed him in a negative light
A lot of actors will talk and get to know the people, who the movie is about.
No one did that, concerning Michael, again the movie would not have happened without him
Michael did interview long time ago when Sandra was nominated for a Oscar.
They asked him how he felt about the movie.
He said they lied, they didn't ask him about what really happened and they made him look like a big dumb black kid.
Especially the scene when Sandra had to tell Michael how to play football, defense.
They didn't ask Michael for his imput and he didn't get paid.

The real Michael never actually had a say in how the portrayal of HIS story came out. The Tuohy family were the only ones actually listened to. So, I don’t doubt that some of it is false. White conservative Christians always tend to glorify their “service”. Michael actually hates the movie because of how inaccurate it actually is.
He is a good man! Very kind and humble. I hope what he says helps those who throw shade at Sandra to try to be as kind and humble as Quinton.

The Blind Side(2009) was a good movie. I enjoyed watching in theaters. With that said, I think it was more to do with the acting and performances, not the story, which was mediocre at best. Still a heartwarming/wholesome film tho.

Sandra didn't write the script. It's also not her job to find out if the written characters are accurate to their real-life counterparts. Her job was was to memorize the script and act it out the best she could, hence her award. I can't believe we're even having this discussion.
