On mine, I did have the same issue, but my washer has stopped spinning altogether. I will replace the rods, but now that it won't spin at all, what else could it be if replacing the rods doesn't solve it? I can still hear my motor... it's just not spinning. Saw another video of some guy saying it was the clutch, but when I removed the part he told me about it says it's the drain motor.
I'm having an issue with my Samsung washer that seems similar. It's getting towards the end of the spin cycle at the end of a wash but it often end up banging around and then shutting itself off during the spin cycle. Do you think that sounds like a tension rod issue?
First make sure the unit is level where it sits. If that ok then yes it sound like the tension rods. Very simple to change. Good luck. Oh yea wear latex gloves 👍🏻
Question: After replacing the rods, the washer worked for about 3 loads, and it's back to not spinning. Any ideas. I can hear the motor and see it try to spin.
Check the motor coupler. It’s the part underneath the unit between the motor and the transmission. Very inexpensive part. If not sure where and how to replace look it up on the tube👍🏻

Mine spins and bangs at a certain remaining time in the cycle, mainly at 7 minutes. Any ideas why?
Sounds like it hits the fastest speed. Check the springs also check to make sure it sits level on the floor.

Can you use any suspension rod on any Samsung?
Not sure. I just order the ones to fit that particular model
