When I first started making videos, I had the idea to do this. I immediately thought - "no way, that would ruin my rating". Well, it might but I had a ton of fun doing it and that's what really matters.
Yes, ratings are important (especially because I want to make it to the DGPT) but I believe that if I play to the level I can every time I go out there - doing something silly like this won't matter too much. It also helps keep my nerves a bit lower when I play tournaments for real.
All in all, I love making these 1 disc tournament videos (& all my other videos).

Liked this idea to play one odd disc only tournament allot! I think it would be even better play a two disc tournament! For example: Epic & Condor or Epic & Dx Rollo. Epic & Stay Putt. Tilt & Dx Rollo. Tilt & Condor!!!....😂
That epic disc is the only disc I play with! I found it in my house after some years and was just introduced to frisbee golf, I only want to carry 1 disc still.

Tournament and only throwing the MVP Matrix midrange.
To give yourself challenges: require a certain number of rollers FH/BH, also a certain nuber of Overhand or make it spicy and FH off the tee only.
I don't know why this disc lost some of its original hype, but it is so versatile.
(BTW, I always have at least 1 Matrix in the Bag and have done a few only 1 Matrix rounds, and always fun)

You should do a tournament with whatever is the most understable disc is you can find because you did one with the tilt which was super overstable. The Glitch which is dead straight and the epic which was a mix. Maybe the innova rollo.
Bet you the randomness is because of the smacks into the ground / obstacles "tuning it" - the aerobie flying ring has a bit of that also, it sort of detunes on use.

I wish he could, but as someone who knows him personally and the process it is for him to make these videos, its not really possible. He puts countless hours into editing each video on top of working a full time job among other things. Definitely some of the best, if not the best, disc golf content out there, so I do wish the weekly uploads could be a thing.

Do a solid stable mid range, Roc, Buzz, Mustang, Hex. what ever your straight to overstable mid is. and your putter. I bet you shoot at least 5 down.

not a tournament, but play 18 holes with a dollar store (not disc golf) frisbee. (then compare to a recent tournament)

Play a tournament borrowing random discs from your card mates for each hole.

Pro tip from a random dude that always has an Aerobie Arrow in the bag. They can be tuned as well. The Blue, Yellow and Red always start off more stable than the Purple. True story from an "Arrow-Head" 😉
For woods holes under 230, it is my go to FH disc. And I have 6 of my 39 aces with that mold.
Try a challenging 3 Arrow round, or Tournament. Red, Yellow and Purple or Blue,Yellow and Purple.
The Yellow can be tuned more brand new it's more flexible. Flexibility, that I've seen, Yellow, Blue, Purple then Red.
And they all can sink in water and float right back to the top.
