- 8 months after the big switch I can definitely say that I've found my bag lineup! I feel very comfortable now with these discs and honestly, couldn't be happier with them so far. It was a long and intimidating precess but so worth it! Also, Stay tuned everyone for the (double) GripEQ bag release coming soon!!!!!

That was my favorite line of this whole in the bag. Usually they aren't that interesting...but I can't miss a Simon one.
Such a humble champ. Basically said don't even waste time with the Dimension unless you're an elite distance thrower. Simon is first class.
I throw 400+ but the dimension gets no use as it causes injuries 😂
The Dimension is a really good utility/scramble disc if you are a forehand player. Agreed it's useless for any distance if your not simon but it has value
As he came down the fairway on 18 and the crowd was going absolutely nuts, you can see Simon do a subtle "let's take it down a notch" hand motion. In my mind it was all about his card mates and them getting the proper courtesy to finish off the round. Maybe I'm wrong, but it seemed like that was the intent, and coming from him I wouldn't doubt it.
Its good marketing because every youtuber seems to think they can throw over 400-500. I would be surprised if 50% of those who claim they could, can.
@@mycodelic3554 and being consistant and accurate with their throws. I don't value absolutely max distance that you can pull off sometimes. To me max distance that people mention should be thrown accurately and on flat ground and something they can repeat.

Im a 60 year old multiple sport former athlete - who has spent the last 2 weeks recovering from covid DISCOVERING you and DISC GOLF!!! Im hooked!!! Can an old strong man compete in this sport? Oh my gosh Simon you're the perfect entrance Hero to follow. GOOD LUCK in the World Comps - you can beat those tall skinny guys, the old goat, and others like you did last week!

For me!! Well Im going to go out and buy your bag full of discs, wear all the right gear, and use the right terminology - show up to a corse and challenge the best players to a skins game - even as a complete beginner. But they wont know that until we tee off. So I figure I'll have fun until its game time, then it will be CRAZY FUN - and I'll pay them up front so they'll have fun with me. I'll learn as I GO!!!

YOU, SIMON made me want to start playing disc golf last year, at 56 years old. I love the sport and the exercise that I get while playing. The next time you happen to be in the great state of Georgia stop by Parker's Pasture in Covington. It is a well established woods course that is challenging and fun. Hey Simon! I was the one who had the exact same color and run of the old patent pending dimension. Had no idea we had the same one until you pulled it out of the bag, in person. You rock for takin the time to share that with me. Meant a lot. It was 'mega geil' seein you bomb it at DGLO.. dimension does not fly for me that way 😅 Thanks for all you do for the sport!
I just cant get over how good at marketing Simon is. I want ALL HIS DISCS!!! And I already have a full and fully functioning bag. But he makes such damn good arguments for each gram of plastic in his bag its just so damn hard not to pull out my wallet haha.

Give this man a huge round of applause for his forehand lately. Doing great and helped him win this last tournament. Also was chanting “ let’s go Simon 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 let’s go Simon 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 “ when he was on chase card.
Simon completely reinvented his forehand after elbow issues and it's smoother than ever.
Two years ago Simon did a video with McBeth where they picked each other's lines, and it would be stupid and unfair to Simon (as he's clearly put an insane amount of work into both his game and his injury recovery) to suggest that video was the reason his following two seasons were so good. But I do think it had an role in his transformation into an elite golfer. Simon's always been able to make jaw-droppingly amazing throws, but he's gotten so good at match play and shot selection that he rarely puts himself in a position to have to do anything crazy. He's learned how to make the game easy on himself. Hole 16 at DGLO was, to me, the moment that the conservative (relative to Simon) McBeth style combined with old Simon's flashy, creative style to create something better and cooler than either style is on its own. It was at least as smart as anything McBeth has ever done on the course, but executed in the most Simon Line™ way possible. Totally fascinating

Its so cool seeing you throw the Defy on forehand. I love 170+ Defy's for forehand and 165 and under for backhands. Dead straight with a beautiful finish unlike any other driver I've thrown, completely different than my Photon's. Keep positive and good things will continue to come to you. 🖤

I've been throwing MVP for over 7 years now. I literally could have built you bag for you now problem! The 14 speeds are a bit different but other than that we run a very similar bag.
