    I carry the attitude of gratitude with me every day. It’s almost impossible to go through life without experiencing some kind of failure. We can choose to see failure as “the end of the world,” or we can look at failure as the incredible learning experience that it often is. Failure stop us only if we left them. Strategies to help you get over the hump. Start redefining what failure means to you. Shade, people like you make the world a better place. You deserve a million thanks and all the hugs I can give, I’ll never be able to repay you for your kindness. We, your followers love ❤.

    Wow this is true and enlightening. As a designer who experienced a lot of rejection it made me fear failure, which led me to be a perfectionist and so I procrastinate in every given project. You can also connect this as a result of being a man pleaser.

    • @ShadeZahrai
      @ShadeZahrai  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Ah you make a good point - being a people pleasure and having a strong desire (or need) for social validation can absolutely lead to fear of failure due to the ‘social rejection’ that you associate with failure. Have you found any effective ways to work through your fear of failure?

    • @prunes794
      @prunes794 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I do the same...you have put it so well..beginning every single project is associated with fear and then procrastination, I do agree...it results from people lashing back on us and we end up reciprocating that by punishing ourselves by procrastination and mental dilemma..but how do u avoid that..i mean how do u face that fear..can u share?

      Every time I’m in this state I just accept the reality that I’m stuck but there is also this reality where you really have to move forward and make progress. While I procrastinate, I do research regarding my project, because for me enough knowledge about my project boosts my confidence that I can do a good job. It’s a learning process and sometimes I still stumble on this part. Don’t be too hard on ourselves too. This helps

    I have all these problems, fear of failure, perfectionist mind and a procrastinator. Since i have failed so many times and usually it back fires when i have shared my plans with friends and then they start to criticize. So i made 2 changes, first of all i never share my plans until i achieve it. And second, if i do share it, i tell them that i am trying something new to fail in. This way they will have an answer and i also get passed the fear of failure.

    I gave a talk about this topic a few years ago and most of the people in the audience did admit that they had a Fear of Failure.
    But after giving them solutions to overcome that fear, they were able to turn their lives around and for the better.
    Sometimes people just need to listen and actually apply what they have learned from people who are trying to help them.
    And I hope that more people will take your
    advice because it can totally transform the way they live.

    I learnt after 50 years of age that no matter what any relationship is, it is basically just a type of transaction between two persons. It can be physical, emotional or social but it is just a transaction between two persons. This was an eye opener for me and I am now living in totally different world and my expectations towards myself and my near or dear ones are totally different. Second thing I learnt was everything I do (Even when I get married or have kids) I do it for myself and to make me happy or make me feel better. My wife or my kids or my house.... everything is to make me feel better.

    But some people like my 37 year old husband have difficulties overcoming the fear of failure.
    I tried studying with him he was not able to concentrate or he wants to go to his friends - or he starts making excuses - so I have given the hope up that he will overcome his fears.I can not force him.He has wasted many oppurtunities and chances in his life due to his fear - he had rejected twice Job coaching ,and a 3 year long job training with exams and keeps making excuses he is not capable.His attitude is regretable but I have realized after 3 years of staying with him that I can not change him and if he does not want to understand,what can I do?

    You bring positivity to many people’s life . Failure or success depends on how you think if we always think we move forward whether we get whatever we needed sometimes what we thought at that time wasn’t not the best for you ..
    thank you shade you make my many days better..
