Looks like that last print warped. Add 5 to 10 degrees more bed temp
Damn there was no comment on the warping which was abit intense. I love your content but you need to be abit more critical and point some flaws. Maybe comparisons etc but Iove your content
Was thinking the same...
Ripped the googly eyes right off the extruder, I would have stopped the print, that can't be good on the hot end or rails hitting that material at speed. not to mention there is no dimensional accuracy if the part is lifting like that.
@@jimmanis6717 Didn't even notice the googly eye there as I was watching this thing warp in a crazy way.
Yes, first thought
When 20% of your audience is willing to comment on the lack of mentioning the warpage it is safe to assume that 80% noticed this. I know Bambu cancels people for negative comments, meaning , no free stuff. But tubers fail to realize their word should be worth more than the cost of any printer or filament, until it is too late. Now would be a good time to go back run the same file on the normal ABS and see if it warps as much or less.
Thank you so much. The configuration update was why I was here. I couldn't figure out why I kept getting an error for ABS-GF and that was the cure!
One of the keys to ABS not warping is preheating your enclosure for longer. I Turn my bed on @ 100 C for 10-15 min before I send the print job.
16:50 its warping like crazy! That's even worse than any ABS I have used thus far.
Just saying that your print 'came out well' is silly to be honest, I would consider that a hard fail.
I laughed out loud when you said "That's stupid!" about BL not having the filaments loaded in there. That was awesome and I agree with you.
I have to admit I didn't know the thing about pressing the numbers on your keyboard. That's so obvious now that you pointed it out, so thank you for that.
Yes, make more songs 😂👍, i love it !!
Sorry to bother, but I enjoy ABS as well, just curious do you use anything special for supports? I know that there is a specific support material for PLA, but is there one that you have found for ABS/ASA? Thank you for your time and your AWESOME videos!!! I just ordered some ABS-GF!!
HIPS was used back when the predominate filament material was ABS, back in the day. You use Limonene to dissolve it from the ABS.
LOL
bonus likes are deserved for that song!
Lmao, did you make that song? Is that you singing? That is awesome, I love it!!!
it is ai generated
Pretty bad warping. Mouse ears wouldn't help?
More heat in the bed would maintain adhesion.
@@coachster A little suspicious that he didn't mention the obvious warping. But yea, it might help to crank the bed up to 100C, as it looks like the default profile was only 90. Unlike CF, GF doesn't help as much with warping. That said, anytime you have 90 degree corners in your model like that, mouse ears can help a lot.
@@kf4hqf2 I’ve found that most Bambu profiles have the bed set too low. I’ve never needed mouse ears on my X1C as increasing the bed temp by 5 to 10 degrees has always solved it. I see the value it in but for me mouse ears is an unnecessary step to add.
@@coachster yeah I was shocked using the "cool plate" @ 35c for PLA where I was using 50-60 on my Enders PEI plate.
To my knowledge the current version of Bambu Studio v1.8.4, which he is using, doesn't have mouse ear brims like Orca Slicer. I don't see it referenced in the latest version 1.9.1 BETA 4.
