I just recently moved to the states from Karachi and upon 20 days landing here I got a Job offer as a software engineer here so this video is absolutely on point. The ironic part is I already know so many engineers in Pakistan who are making pennies there but would be making 6 figure salaries in the states if they were here. Just the saddest thing ever.

Brain drain has been has never been so high as it has been now. But the way you have shared your perspective is literally commendable. I have personally worked in federal government Islamabad and Lahore for 8 precious years and I have realized that I really have wasted my time. Junaid Bhai, your views are absolutely banged on target. I moved out of Pakistan, with the same ideas what you have described in your view, 14 years ago and with blessings of Allah, my untiring efforts and being in the right place at right time, I also have been able to achieve all the things what your friend has done in this video.

I want to leave this country but I can't 😭 My father passed away last year. Now I live with my mother, brother, & sister.
I want to leave the country so I can call my family abroad later. My mental life is messed up. I care for my mother so much but I can't leave her alone coz I know my brother & sister woud make her life hell.
I'm a CS graduate but work as an SEO & WordPress specialist. I want to become a Data Engineer. In my current home I don't have the piece of my mind and I can't even focus on my job let alone learn to become a Data Engineer.
I feel like it'd be too late & I'd be spending an average life.
I hate Pakistan & Pakistani society. I hate it. People have no civic sense. Corruption, lies, & deceit. No value of human life. State doesn't care about us.
    Our society is wretched.
I want to run away or end the suffering. I love my mother so much. I couldn't do much for my father so I want to give her a better life but this toxic household has cost me my mental health, career, & maybe a good life too.

I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. Last month we had a sad situation here. Two sisters, both under the age of 20 were shot and killed by the younger sisters boyfriend. The girls were from a respectable family and their brother is the Imam of a masjid here. The person who shot and murdered them both was a Non-Muslim convicted felon who had recently been released from jail. The family and especially the mother and father of those girls, are devastated and heartbroken. But at the end of the day, they're living the American dream. It really hurt me because I was the ICU nurse who received the two sisters when they were rushed to the hospital after their gunshot wounds. One died upon arrival to the hospital and the other passed a few days later.

I left school in Pakistan in 6th grade and my outlook there was a total looser. I was the “na layaq” who the teacher sat out in hallways for 6 months. I probably would be a metric pass today.
In US I was able to do MIS and then MBA and Alhumdullilah work with a very large organization today.

Your friend brought his home very expensive in a state like Utah. For $500k he could have brought a home with 50 plus acres of land to enjoy. Pakistani people are obsessed with homes, not the actual experience of enjoying a foreign country. Enjoy stuff in US you couldn’t enjoy in Pakistan. Think and do out of the box you will really enjoy a life to remember. Tell your friend to take you to Moab Utah the adventure capital of western US you will experience scenery out of this world. 👍

Thanks for the thought, I agree with you completely but in this whole video I was waiting for one question that how did he reach USA, on a work Visa? Is it still viable now? And if you are an MBA, hard working around 35 with family of four, will one be able to provide with decent education for kids in a work visa? Your response would really help. Thanks

In fact I was thinking to apply for a job in Karachi and in our country people are paid 100,000 for that job, whereas people are paid $6,000 (if we do it remotely) for the same job in the US and I'm surely gonna apply in the US for that job from Karachi.

This is so true. Been working my ass off to build my business but sadly operating a business in Pakistan is like hitting your foot with an axe. Clients do not respect your experience and your work has no worth because jugari people exist and we are short minded.
Decided to stop working nationally and started securing projects internally, there comes our pathethic government and laws. Kal ko apki payment ajaye USA sy and bank will hold your money and ask you 1 million questions (even though your business is registered) paypal , amazon etc doesn't work because we are blacklisted as a nation and our laws do not allow us to make dollars, hindrances are put in place by design to deter people. To overcome those you need huge investments (having a registered LLC abroad). Honestly such a pathetic and mind numbing experience it has been to operate a business in this country.

But then other thought crossed my mind... what will happen of the Country?!
I mean if all hard working and bright minds start leaving the Motherland for promised land???
    Just my 2 cents...

Its the story of most Pakistanis. In the beginning its Pakistan Zindabad, Then they go abroad and their eyes are opened. They realize that Pakistanis are living like JANWAR in the motherland. No roads, no electricity, no luxuries. You can work hard your entire life under a cruel SATE and in the end you will have next to nothing.
Looks like Junaid is looking to make the permanent move abroad and convey final Allah Hafiz to Pakistan
