This is amazing! I was a naughty kid growing up as many squirrels and robins fell to my sling shot. I eventually graduated to an air gun but in hindsight, I wished I would have stayed with the slingshot.
Honestly, I’ve been following your videos for a couple of seasons now and I look forward to your videos! Trying for squirrel and rabbit this year myself.
Great video man and nice shooting. I have a question though, I've seen others process grouse/pheasants that way. I was wondering what is done with the legs and wings. Is there just not enough meat on them to deal with? Thanks for the great video again, hope you post another soon.
Bro, I haven't commented in awhile on your videos. But I'm always watching them. You are literally the truth with a slingshot my brotha. Love your content, hoping you keep it rolling!
I could but there are hundreds of videos on how to cut latex slingshot bands. Catapult Carnage has a great one. As for installing them on this slingshot, I just rolled back the tubes on the frame. Laid the flat bands on there and rolled the tubes over the flats.
I can't believe you would eat a shriveled up mushroom but throw away the very delicious legs....I've killed many grouse in my life and we never threw legs or back away. Just too good to waste!
Thanks for leading with an assumption. You are incorrect. The legs, gizzards, and sometimes hearts go to chili or soup. They don't get wasted. They are just not in the pan for this video. Wings become lynx bait. Chill bud. Thanks for watching.
For the record the legs, and gizzards go into chili. I didn't toss them. I fast forwarded through the part where I talk about that. No worries Trigger. I'm not into wasting meat either!
Michael Sturm I'm sorry if that's the case sir... hope that you make more entertaining videos👍. Here in the philippines we only throw the feathers, beak and nails but some poor people here fry and eat the nails. try sometime to cook that bird " tinola style". filipino dish with garlic, onion, ginger with green papaya and tomatoes, garnish with chili leaves. its a soup dish, it's delicious! try it sometime and you will never regret it.
Don't* shoot them* with the sling shot,* it hurts them. (I have corrected your sentence. You lost three points for spelling, grammar and punctuation.) I need to have a chat with your english teacher. See you at school buddy.

It's fun and efficient. Hunt legally.
awesome skills with the slingshot and you show respect for the birds you hunted, you killed it you eat it.
Great job, enjoyed your adventure. Big up from Jamaica
Good clean head shots on those spruce grouse. Nice vid !

Awsome shooting mate😊👍...what bands taper and active length is that?
.76 GZK cold weather. Taper is 1 inch to 3/4 inch. Active length is 6.5 inches. (I draw 32 inches) Shooting 7/16 steel.
Oh men, niceeee video, i really like your videos.
Greetings from Perú 🇵🇪 !!
Glad you liked it! Thanks from Alaska!
5:45 can you make a video on how you constructed the slingshot bands
I could but there are hundreds of videos on how to cut latex slingshot bands. Catapult Carnage has a great one. As for installing them on this slingshot, I just rolled back the tubes on the frame. Laid the flat bands on there and rolled the tubes over the flats.
Where are you from and where did you get the 7/16 ammo? Great vid by the way :)
Alaska. Amazon. Thanks!
Did you not cook the grouse's drum sticks?
Yep. They go into soup.
👍👍
Might have missed it, what is the setup, band and steel size?
.76 GZK green. 1 to 3/4 taper, 6.5 active length for 32in draw. 7/16 steel. Good luck!

That bird probably look much better alive
Agreed. But it tastes much better dead. Same can be said for carrots, apples and spinach. Unless you are into eating things alive.
Sometimes eat along with your family 😁
Sometimes I do
Ammo size???
11 mm.

if i wer you i wouldn't get only the breast meat. it's kinda wasteful to throw away the parts that are the tastiest. just saying but video is good!
