Salty dog comes along in search of grouse. We get 3. We add a campfire some bacon and some king boletes and a feast ensues!

Salty is a good Dog we spend a lot of time in the woods. I used to hunt hogs in Hawaii before I moved to Alaska, but there are no feral hogs here in Alaska. Thanks

Have you ever shot a bow? Stick bow shooters pick it up crazy quick because the draw cycle and anchor points are identical

@@sturmslingshotsandshenanigans I'm sure that many slingshooters have archery backgrounds.
In fact, years ago, as the deputy chief of the National SlingshoI Association, I conducted a slingshooting event at my archery club. Participants were required to wear safety eyeglasses and sign a waiver of liability form. Slingshots and ammo were provided by "SlingshotsUSA".
We all had a great, safe time.
Basically, archery and slingshooting are "first cousins", because of their similarity, to which you've mentioned.
