The fire under tarp is always a delicate dance. Trick is to have the tarp well above the fire and most importantly keeping the fire small and controlled. With the open back and breezy sides the smoke drafted out beautifully. This is one of those things that you must be very very careful with. Melted tarp on skin is not fun
