Malaysia is just a remarkable country in Southeast Asia with so many great beaches, restaurants, hotels, resorts, malls, temples, etc. in October of 2022!
@@sooraajmisraa7791 location and your personal lifestyle will decide that. Most locals get by with $1,000 quite well and $2,000 will be very well but it's all very much your choice. Like me, a bachelor Malaysian, I can spend from $300-500/-, depends.
Penang is one of my favorite places; I was there about 3 weeks ago, but sadly back in the USA now awaiting my next visit... I was there on Malaysia Day weekend. And that explains why you are seeing so many Malaysian flags. Merdeka day celebrates their independence from Britain, and two weeks later is Malaysia Day which celebrates the states in Borneo joining the union. With those days and the upcoming general election, Malaysia flags are everywhere.
Business class on the train looks like it's worth it, if legs are as long as yours, be sure to choose business class! It can be seen that Georgetown is a multicultural city, and many Western-style buildings have Mandarin signboards, which is very interesting! That skywalk is scary, it seems you have to have a strong heart to walk on it! Looking forward to the next video, thanks a lot for sharing! 👍😄🙌
Thanks you so much for this remarkable video about the great Southeast Asian country of Malaysia in October of 2022.I will definitely love to visit this great country in 2025!
Hello from Naples, Florida. We loved the whole video, but have to say the skywalk was awesome. We enjoyed. Thank you so much for sharing this part of the world with us.👍💯🙏
Wow, it seems that I just missed you both there in Penang and Kuala Lumpur as I just got back from there! It was a fun 2 weeks there. And BTW, why you saw so many flags is just because you just missed their Malaysia Day celebrated on every Sept 15. And also their Independence Day on every Aug 31st. I simply enjoy watching how you enjoying taking videos and exploring around city streets and their architectures and especially their local food delicacies. They got too many to indulge! Loved my stay there. ❤
Actually a lot of foreign tourists, even some Malaysians easily confused by KL Sentral station and Kuala Lumpur station. The modern looking station you guys departed from is called KL Sentral, the most important and main station in the whole KL that connect with lots of different metro or commuter lines. The Kuala Lumpur station is actually the station you guys passed by at around 3:06 . That is an old colonial era station, it was the main railway station in KL in the past. But not anymore since KL Sentral station was constructed at 2001. When a lot of people book their tickets, they just thought "I want to start from/go to Kuala Lumpur" and just selected "Kuala Lumpur station" instead of "KL Sentral station" without giving much of a thought.
I'm a Malaysian and watching this video for my second trip to Penang. Previously was by flight. So this really helps and good to plan my itinerary. TQ ♥
Great tour! Thanks for taking us along with you. Appreciate your clear narrative and easy pace. Very informative. Love the street art and mix of architecture. So much to see. Best wishes to you both from Wales UK. 👍 ✌
Sometimes I take the ETS train from KL to Penang for my sales meetings. Just driving alone is not fun and for buses I don't want to get stuck in traffic. Love the ETS train where I can open my notebook to work, watch Netflix and just travel stress free.
The AC used to be freezing in the old trains. But KTM has changed their fleet to the new Chinese made ones. They're no longer freezing. Temperature in the cabin is comfortable with just T-shirts
I travelled the other way Butterworth to KL in Car A in a single seat on 11/1022 and loved it. It was worth the $50 AUD I paid 🇦🇺🇦🇺 The staff were awesome the food selection was great, then they bring up snacks. Seats were huge, plenty of legroom and the views were spectacular. Look out the window not at the screen. Georgetown was awesome and do is KL. I’m off to Singapore now and then home to Australia 🇦🇺
Hiya Chris and Carol, Great video. Always informative. You two deserve the business lounge all the time. You are the best tour guides around any destination. Your first meal. Not the best if you do not like cheese. 🤔Nice size bathroom. Do you ever get a massage? Your bags look so heavy. Even though you pack light. I love street art in Malaysia. Some of those metal ones light up at night. I could not walk on the glass. 🤭 Carol on the glass. My legs felt weak. 😁 Good vibes. Liked and shared as always. Thank you for sharing. Happy Sunday.
What a cool and interesting place with such a variety of architectural designs.... and the street artwork... wow! I love nearly all Indian/Asian types of food, and the food there must be absolutely amazing and as "authentic" as it gets. Beautiful!

Welcome one and all to my hometown, good ole Penang, a UNESCO Heritage site. You will find amazing street food, some of the best in the world that have won numerous accolades. It’s a place where you stay and never want to leave with fusion of modern architecture and old infrastructure.
We were in Penang last week and travelled to KL by bus. We would have done the train, but the ferry service doesn’t start until after that last morning train leaves Butterworth. The bus was a chore. Comfortable enough, but we left two hours late from Penang because our bus never showed up at the station in Komtar, so they had to struggle to figure out what to do. We were finally shuttled by another bus line to the main station at Sungei Nibang and put on a bus from a third company. Never again. If you return to Malaysia, Ipoh’s a neat place to check out. It’s about half way between Butterworth and KL. A number of interesting sites in and near town, along with close proximity to the Cameron Highlands, a beautiful area. Plus, in town, they have some excellent food places.
if you are from middle east country then i understand, malaysia got clear weather without sand storm, lot of rains, so the car looks 'fresh' all the time except maybe more than 10 year old cars
Interesting point, I thought Malaysia was a former colony of the US when I first saw their flag. I thought it would be a small union jack on the top right side like most Commonwealth nations if it was a former British colony. Guess we learn new things when we travel.
Thanks you so much for this remarkable video about Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in October of 2022.I really LOVE to watch your great videos in great joy 2022!
Damn, I was just there in Kuala Lumpur (would have loved to run into you guys). Anyway, if your going to Penang, while in Georgetown, you might want to make a 2 day trip to Teluk Bahang and visit Penang National Park. Stayed in a place called Tony's Guesthouse. Enjoy your travels and as always, cheers.
Malaysia is one of the best country in SEA, local people are courteous behavior, cleanliness and more importantly is very little or non thief, robber, gangster while Vietnam does not have any of this characteristics.
Lovely watching this from London. Hope they keep all those charming old houses in Georgetown and not be developed into high rise. Thank you for your excellent video, hope to visit Penang one day.
The Malaysian one is still the best train service in Southeast Asia from my experience. The Laos- China one would be a close second. Sadly the Thai and Indonesian train services are ups and downs. Not consistent. Of course no long distance train services at all in the Philippines.

The Tao of Pooh, Benjamin Hoff uses the lowly and self-abnegating character from A. A. Milne's classics to proclaim the social, ecological, and spiritual wisdom inherent in Taoism. He respects Piglet as the only one of the Pooh characters "to change, to grow, to become more than he was in the first place." In contrast to the whining of Eeyore, the intellectualism of Owl, and the restlessness of Tigger, Piglet shows us "the power of the Sensitive, the Modest and the Small." These values - if only we heeded them - could make the world a less dangerous and destructive place. They offer an alternative to the bigger-is-better approach. This handy little volume includes illustrations from the original Pooh books, reflections on other characters, and the wisdom teachings of Taoism.
