    There are new vlogger explorers coming to the Philippines but only these two are legit gem finders, who would have thought of these places with caves and falls and all, informing us local Filipinos of what our country are made of, thank you for part 2 of these adventures since you were stuck in El Nido during pandemic times...

    The first cave is so beautiful, it would be perfect if you could swim there!
    The water in the second pool is like watercolor, and it is so beautiful!
    The picture of you standing on that vine is incredible, you should be able to enter the photo contest!
    Although it rained at the end, it still did not diminish the beauty of CEBU, thanks a lot for sharing! 👍😄👏

    That's the most magical cave ever. My wife and I watch Chris and Carol everyday : ) The best! When we travel my wife walks in front of me and I always yell to her 'Carol Walking'. Perhaps Carol walking will be the new walk fit app. Great work C&C! Cheers from Victoria BC

    That cave that both you and Carol visited looks amazing and you practically had it to yourselves without many other tourists.If there are small fires in the Philippines, it usually means the residents are burning trash or piled up leaves. You two definitely go to the places less traveled which is why the trail markings are not good or non existent. The jungle trail you hiked through was beautiful. Again, you had the waterfalls to yourselves - amazing. Too bad about the mosquitoes, but I always bring mosquito repellent with me when I travel to the Philippines and the tropics since mosquitoes luv to feats on me and I'm allergic to them - they scar my body.

    Cebu Islands have lots of caves like this, some are even bigger but unfortunately, most of them are not open to mass tourism, much to the delight of environmentalists and DENR officials. But Bantayan and Camotes Islands have allowed a few of their caves open to tourists. On the mainland Cebu, specifically in Carmen town, the owner/operator of Cebu Safari & Adventure Park has obtained a special permit to develop and promote one of the biggest caves in Cebu, the Lapus-Lapus Cave. The guided tour to the cave system is now available in Cebu Safari to those who like to see and marvel at the beauty of the cave. The cave is situated at the northernmost edge of the Lhuillier estate passing hundreds of hectares of rolling hills of pasture land where hundreds of white cattle (yes, all of them are white) graze reminiscent of a cattle ranch in New Zealand.

    Awesome adventure, guys!
    Got Dengue as well a long time ago during my hiking days. Although not all areas have them. Pays to check in advance or ask the locals. Shouldn't be much of a problem. Using OFF! or Citronella may help. Stay safe and healthy! Cheers!

    I suggest you do waterfalls hopping in Southern Cebu towns. South Cebu towns have dozens of spectacular turquoise-hued waterfalls systems which can easily be accessed by either two-wheeled or 4-wheeled vehicles. As a starter, I suggest you visit Aguinid Falls (falls with most number of levels and falls/cascades in Cebu at 10), Hidden Falls, Binalayan Falls, Dao Falls, Tumalog Falls, Montpelier Falls, Dayhag Falls, Sinungkulan Falls, Mantayupan Falls (tallest falls in Cebu), Busagak Falls, Udlom Falls (probably the tallest and longest cascading falls in Cebu), to name a few. Kawasan Falls, in the meantime, is still not open to walk-in guests as the local officials are still working on the infrastructures after Typhoon Odette's devastation last year. You can only access Kawasan Falls if you join a canyoneering tour as it is where the canyoneering activity culminates.

    Yes dengue-carrying mossies are really a problem here. I think i've gotten all 4 strains by now. But 2 of them sent me to the hospital. The thing with dengue is that every time you catch it, your body's reaction to it actually worsens.

    • @JumpingPlaces
      @JumpingPlaces  ปีที่แล้ว

      That sucks, on the bright side i guess you are completely immune to dengue now since you have had all the strains? i read that once you have a strain you are immune to it. Which countries did you catch it in?

    • @moondustgirl2132
      @moondustgirl2132 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JumpingPlaces Yes you do get immunity from each strain infection if you recover.. Born and raised here in PH so got it all here. On my last infection, my friend would bring me boiled papaya leaves to drink. I think it may have helped coz even in India, that's the folk med that they use for dengue. :)

Iligan City, for example, has 23 waterfalls, one of which is the largest in the whole Philippines. You can also visit Dipolog and Dapitan cities where Dakak Resort is, which is very beautiful.

    Nice to see again camotes island where mostly my relatives came from, i miss my childhood memories when i was seve n years old i stayed with my grandparents in San francisco which is the biggest town in Camotes , My mother that time was very busy working in Cebu city and couldn't devote much time for me She left me under the care of my Grand parents in Camotes island until the time she became financially stable she promise to visit me every month and everyday after school, I would wait at the beach front, i could see the pump boat on its way to the dock and everyday , i would wait at the beach , Then once i see my mother hasn,'t arrive yet, I would cry , , Now my mom had passed recently last Oct 26 , 2022, lots of sad and happy memories in Camotes sorry for sharing this in your You tube vlog, But just like to
