Orange juice is jus oren in Malaysia. Not jeruk. Jeruk is in Indonesian language. In Malaysia, jeruk is for pickles. But some pickles we call it 'acar', c is pronounced like a ch in chocolate.

The train specification follows the railway line that has existed since the British Colonial era, that is why the Speed of the Train is only suitable for Semi-Speed operation, If to operate the Super Fast Train it is necessary to change the new rail line which is more wide and of course requires a high cost and the ticket price will also be more expensive than the current ticket, moreover, most Malaysian citizens are more comfortable with the current ticket price and the journey to the North or the South will not be too long and not too slow
Just for info, Penang, especially in Georgetown, is the second largest and most densely populated city in Malaysia, in addition to that, Georgetown City is recognized as a UNESCO heritage and the city is similar to cities in England, especially the Colonial Era Buildings that are found here.

Would like to recommend you to try the Jungle Railway. Take a ride from Kuala Lipis to Wakaf Baru. Railway track in the middle of one of oldest tropical rainforest.

Not really. Penang is boring to me. Dont get angry , that's my opinion. The best for food and nature are definitely terengganu ,kelantan and sabah. They are known for their beaches and mountains..and great food.

Just don't do the National Park hike. It's pretty treacherous with better maintenance needed on the trails.

I love trains too! That one looks especially nice. You two were so cute, like kids enjoying business class. Reminds me of flying from the U.S. to Paris in business class in the 90's because my traveling companion worked for United. I knew I'd never be able to afford to do it again, so I was the only person in business who never fell asleep! The food and drink and service were absolutely wonderful.😂 I wish I could afford traveling like that always!

I remembered the green ferries that resembles a massive ro ro troop carrier, it was so much more fun taking the troop carrier compared to the new ferries 😂
I visited in February, was sad to see the old ferries no longer used😅.

We done the Ipoh train for a work meeting one day was nice. In September we will take this train then go to Langkawi before flying home to KL leave the car avoid the traffic.

That is a temporary ferry to Penang.. In August 23 new ferry will be in operation but I miss the old ferry..
