I remember doing this flow almost everyday about 4 years ago. Then covid hit I lost my job and I became depressed and developed a drinking problem. I quit doing yoga and gained about 40 pounds in the last 3 years. But I’m now a month sober and started doing yoga again and I’ve returned to this video. I love that even though I’m heavier and less flexible I don’t feel bad about myself doing this I just feel at peace again and feel challenged but not weak thank you Adriene ❤
Good for you, Sarah. May you continue in sobriety and feeling peaceful.
welcome back
Hey there, how's your journey going? I too got off the path and found my way back
Hi Sarah, fighting depression is hard! Fill your life with positive things like what you are doing now. You did great!
Keep fighting! We are cheering for you❤️
I went to a yoga class with my new roommate yesterday, and the teacher cancelled right before the class was supposed to start. We were told we could still use the room though so I pulled out my phone and put on this video so the time we carved out wouldn't go to waste. Two other women who were supposed to go to the same class ended up joining us, and we had a beautiful little community yoga flow for 40 mins. Thank you for helping us make new friends and get our yoga time in!
haha that's awesome
don't be scared to breathe on your own..... but whatever gets you practicing..... the one thing that drives me nuts about humans, is their lack of practice....Keep practicing !!!
Hey Adriene, I am here for the August 2021 Calendar. Just want to let you know, I never did Yoga in my life and in March I randomly decided to start following your calendars while going through a really difficult time in my life. My entire life has changed, my mentality is strong and I am so much more confident. I cannot thank you enough for how much strength and peace you have given me.
❤️
😻😻😻
Love to see messages like this! Reminds me that on this journey you can start any day, no matter what. It's a great feeling when you can truly listen to your body and attune to what it needs, thank you for being this gift to me today as I needed to remind myself as well. We are stronger in community
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
@@evolvedbreath I felt the same
Game changer. Maryann suggested playing at 75 speed. Made this so much doable for this 65 year woman. I feel so strong. Yea I needed this
That is an awesome idea! She has some that are too fast for this 44 year old woman lol!
Maybe you should do hatha yoga which is slower or yin yoga
So what is this? I thought it was hatha
@@bhakti7810 it says vinyasa?
Thank you, but I just looked it up on Wiki and it says that vinyasa is a system of hatha🤷🏻♀️🙏💓
what I love about Adriene is that she is REAL. This channel is not to pretend or to show off body and postures but simply to share and guide pure yoga.
In a fake world, Adriene's attitude got me into yoga from the first place (never had that with other yoga teachers)
So THANKS Adriene and your team behind the camera!
Good Morning, Afternoon, Evening Everyone! I just completed day 11 of ENERGIZE and I am so pumped right now! I just held crow to 3 seconds!! I had set a goal to learn it and hold it for 3 seconds and I just did it!! I did it 3 times! At 62, I am challenging my body in new ways thanks to Adriane and her non-intimidating, fun, and compassionate ways of teaching. I am over the moon right now! Tomorrow I start working on holding for 5 seconds!! Wishing everyone a day full of joy!!
Well done. I had given up on crow, but if you can do it at 62 I can try again at 66 - you have inspired me! Namaste
Way to go! Namaste 🙏🏽❤️💚💛🙏🏽
Wow! That's awesome! Nice to meet you. Best wishes! Namaste and Ase! 🦋 ♥️🦋
Today was tough. I was so distracted by everything going on in my life and I had to pause halfway and just write all my toughts down on a paper, and then I was able to continue. I managed in the end, proud of that!
I love that idea. Such a model of finding what feels good!
and I'm so proud of you too! 👏🏼 much love 💜
That’s awesome! Let it flow. Love from NYC ❤️
Blessed be
Congratulations!
The consistent yoga really is a thing! This one felt like a breeze, I’m amazed by how much stronger I’ve become in just a couple of months!
YWA Embody buddies, we got this!! Namaste.
Hey everybody out there 🙋🏻♀️ I am happy and thankful to be part of this global community and wish from the bottom of my heart to all of us that we recover our strength inside and outside by doing yoga with Adriene 🌍💞🙏 All the best from Germany 👋😊

Has anyone else scoured the comments to find inspiration on those days when you're needing a little more motivation to get going? ♥️♥️♥️ You all gave me the excitement I needed to do this practice today.
When the yoga teacher begins with "What's up party people!?", you know your practice's gonna rock! Thanks for this very human refreshing class!
when she says 'what's up party people', it is time to select another yoga video ;-)

We start to cultivate! I am so glad it is Sunday for this longer sequence. I did not come in with much energy but I made it through. Early on, I thought my arms were going to break off with all the reaching to the sky. But they didn't. They actually loosened up, and the joints were not making noises by the end.
Cultivate day 1. 💯💯💯 and 1️⃣ days in a row.
Who else feels stronger during quarantine because of yoga?! I've been trying hard to keep up with my practice and I'm feeling motivated! :)
Energixe Day 11 🙏
When Adrienne said, maybe not today, maybe in seven years ... I was reminded of the saying ...
'Happiness is a journey not a destination'. 🙏
Core. Courage. Crow! Found myself in new poses today I haven’t been to before. Thank you Adriene for the journey. I’m here for March 2022 Embody and loving the daily yoga. Always looking forward to the next day and the next. 🙏🏻
Loved the moment when we turned to the back of the mat and I couldn't look at the screen. In other videos I felt lost, but today I felt in line with myself, feeling and seeing my body as it is. I didn't care about the looks of my poses, just the sensations I was having. Great practice!
me too!! I loved that feeling. I have never done yoga with my back to the screen before, she is such a fabulous teacher, you only need to listen. x
Here for Embody: day 13 💘 so cool to do practices I've never seen before with Adriene! Started this session feeling stiff and slightly unmotivated, but I showed up and explored my body and breath. I feel rejuvenated and ready to take on my day! Namaste to all 🙏
6 months of yoga everyday woo! I'm trying to learn to celebrate my successes more, so I'm getting victory sushi tomorrow 😅 Anybody else been here since January?
Woo hoo! Enjoy that sushi 🍣💪🏻🙌🏻
Waving goodbye to June 23, thank you Adriene, thank you Yoga with Adriene community. Namaste 🙏🏽
Had a few days away, so got a bit muddy in the middle there, but carried on anyway to finish. You can tell how much Adriene has grown in her teaching ways too, bless her.
Energize Day 11, 59 days in a row. While´doing some research and scrolling through a bunch of comments yesterday, I came across one stating that this person was in a wheelchair but watched all your videos anyway and tried to go along the poses seated. If there was a pose they couldn't do, they just sat still and connected to their breath. I tried that out today with this video and I feel so much better about myself. There are still some poses I need to figure out, since sometimes my hip hurt even tho I was sitting or lying down, but it's definitely an improvement. Unfortunately I wasn't able to find the comment again, but if this person is reading this, a huge thank you for your inspiration. Also if anyone else has tips on how to modify poses so they only tend to the upper body, please leave a comment!

Intention : integrate, move as one body
This sequence will truly get the juices flowing, perfect for some lazy or unmotivated days, after I shed those excess water I feel rejuvenated, ready for the day's challenges. After practicing everyday for almost three years I am now happy that I can integrate my body into one moving part no longer asking "what Adriene?" I noticed myself automatically correcting foot placement, core engaging, and neck awareness throughout the practice even if I am laughing at Adriene's wit and humor although I still wobble, stumble, and fall I know that I am in progress and what is more important is the good feeling after every practice.
Happy weekend everyone
May you have a restful day to have an awesome week ahead
Stay motivated
See you all tomorrow
Thank you Adriene
Namaste 🙏🏼
Hi fellow Movers, Mar 21. Another long one! I really should look ahead..but hey, it’s all good. A nice, nice practise that leaves you feeling good. Happy Monday to you all, have a great week. 🙏
I agree, a great practice. Happy Monday 🙏🧘🏼♀️💕
I love the 35-45 min. ones!
I have finished all the 30 days practice so I’m now previewing this so I can practice tomorrow morning. Looks a a good one. Can’t wait!!! Thanks Adriene
I loved this full body workout today for Day 2 of Build. Senior yogis unite, we can do this 😊👍 Such a lovely flowing strength builder sets us up for the day. See you tomorrow on the mat, sending love Adriene 🧘🏼♀️🧘🏻♀️🙏💞
This was so healing. I did break a sweat but the Shavasana in the end really gave me insight and understanding on a higher level. How does Yoga do this, it's indescribable.
The World needs to thank India. The great Nation
Ok- so I know for the last 8 days, I have said “this is one of my faves”... but honestly? If i had to rank all of the practices that I have completed, this is actually, 110%, my favorite! It still challenges me, I still sweat, I still feel so damn strong after! So glad this was today’s practice! It WILL BE an amazing day🙏🏻♥️💪🏻🧘♀️
Same! been doing this for years now
K Olsen yay!!
Agreed :)
Was thinking the same. I enjoy maybe 3/4 of the YWA videos I have seen. This is the only one I have thoroughly enjoyed. Made me feel good mentally and physically
Who is here from cultivate? Practised yoga after a long time today, gave up after 20 minutes(I just couldn't anymore). I am making a promise to myself to come back to this and finish it today.
Same I could only get to 13 minutes, because I have abandoned doing yoga for a while now. Will try to finish this one in the evening
Showing up for Day 1 is a good thing tho, hope to see you on other videos as well
Right there with you! Made it through day one! The hardest part is starting again! Let's do this!
Hi Ananya! I 'm here for Cultivate as well. I've been following Adrienne for quite some time. This past year I have been striving to come back to a daily practice, I fell out of practice over a year ago. Returning to my matt has been bliss! I was recently at a girls weekend gathering. A couple mornings I borrowed a mat and found a quiet corner of the yard. One friend said I looked so peaceful. ✨💖🙌🙌 I thought YAY! Yogi goal achieved! I don't look like I am straining or in pain lol
💚
During quarantine I couldn’t find myself to feel motivated or have the courage to think about how I am feeling or accept it but THS channel, YOUR channel Adrienne has completely changed so many points of view in my life. And now I do yoga everyday! THANKS TO YOU. I am here for the August calendar BTW :) 🧘♀️💜
To anyone doing the August calendar: WE CAN DO THIS🤩
Wow that yoga practice was intense. I wasn't sure if I was gonna make it at one point, but I did. 😀 thank you Adriene for always knowing what I need. Even though that was an intense yoga practice, It was good and I feel more connected to myself now. Thank you Adriene and all the YWA community you are amazing! Namaste everyone! 🙏💙
Thank you Adriene, namaste :)
I previously did this video as a strength workout six months ago, tonight I did it as a fun moving meditation. Not only was this video perfect for the mood I was in but I noticed how much better my balance has gotten and how strong I feel in my core compared to all those months ago!
I felt the same, after the last couple of days too, I noticed a vast improvement in my energy levels and flexibility. Where is everyone ? Great to see you on the mat even if it’s a day ago 🧘🏼♀️🙏
The consistent yoga really is a thing! This one felt like a breeze, I’m amazed by how much stronger I’ve become in just a couple of months!🤩🍃
YWA Embody buddies, we got this!!🌸💓 Namaste.🙏🍃
Yes, the strength encourages you to keep going and explore your limits! 💚
Day 2 of Yoga w Adriene completed. I woke up at 4:00 am. Something said, practice saying and creating tiny little habits and go for 5minutes. As my body began to heat up, and my mind was clear of all the noise. I made it through to the end of the video. I am a beginner yogi and learning how to find my flow and practice playfully. Thank you, for putting together this September challenge.
I'm halfway through the video but need to pause and finish later. 40 minutes is hard work!
thats my story today too
You made this feel like 15 minutes. Tbh you really make me enjoy working out
Woke up this morning feeling drained and sore. This practice gave me energy for the day and helped my body feel more fluid! Happy August fellow yogis!!
I just introduced this Yoga Practice for the first time to my 21 Year old son. And totally benefited from it and wants to do it again. Have a wonderful day!x
Thank you for this wonderful strength practice to close off June 2023's Love calendar ❤ 🙏🙏 much love to everyone ❤
Thank you very much for posting this! Quarantined at home due to Covid-19, Yoga is pretty much the only way for me to keep sanity :)
And good on you for keeping the bloopers in, reminds us all to the fact that we're human.
Me too!!!!!!! No yoga= anxiety ridden day. Pose on!
Here for the first time for the August 2021 Calendar. I've never done yoga before, but got into Pilates in February of this year. I was consistent for a few months before falling off the wagon in last month. I'm excited to get back into exercise and start yoga.
This was great and strenghtening to start August our mission to cultivate attention and intention by guiding toward health which most matters most to me!
I realized how the journey helped me improve since when I first did this seemed quite quick and couldn't follow Adriene but today everything went smoothly! Namaste🥰❤
CULTIVATE DAY 1
This practice was awesome! Thanks Adriene, and hi to my BREATH friends and all the people on the mat today!
What a beautiful practice! I have been doing YWA for over a year now and have been doing YWA every single day with you beautiful people since Breathe. My intention today was to not be too hard on myself, and today was the first day I was able to float in crows pose!! This has always been a big yoga goal of mine and landing this pose today made me cry a few tears of joy. Adriene- you have been such a huge and amazing light in my spiritual life and recovery! Namaste
How is everyone today? Breath, Bridge and YWA family, get ready for a little heat. And if you are finished, what did you think?
I for one may just skip my exercise practice at least till after work as I feel like I have already exercised! I had never done this particular video before. Despite space limitations which required moving my butt this way or that, I quite enjoyed stretching one leg out to each side when doing those bent leg twists towards the end of the practice. FYI, you may need to raise the volume on this one as it seemed lower to me given she is outside.🙏
Move day 8. 155 days in a row with Adriene.
I was with you with this one William, another full class, I stayed curious and it was great ! 🙏
This really suits the Move theme 🤣🤣 feels very energized and tired but happy. Great job everyone!!

I did enjoy but the crow? Not sure it will be in my repertoire.
@@joycedaneke893 I always attempt the crow but can never ‘take off’ so not really in mine either 🧘🏼♀️
Back to my mat after a long time... build day 2 ...wish to practice daily....today's routine was at a faster pace and I was sweating profusely...feeling pumped ..... Thank you Adrienne ❤️
Aiswaria R me too, haven’t done this one for a while but it was a good full body workout 🧘🏼♀️🙏
Adriene,
Thank you so much sharing your knowledge and teaching online, I am 62 and have worked out in gyms for 40+ years. During the quarantine I did nothing for 4 weeks and my hips felt locked up. Your classes are really helping my physical movement and mental awareness.
Please keep sharing you classes are very beneficial.
This practice continues to show me that I’m expending too much energy. Every time I revisit, I find more ease. Today there was actually fun moments!!
Back to this practice from time to time put a smile on my face. Yes, I am getting stronger and yes, I am evolving!!!
My heart goes out to Adriene and her whole family and to all of the yoga family around the world 🌍, Namaste 🙏
Day 1 of the cultivate calendar complete! I appreciated this sweat session so much! The strength I feel from months of YWA practices keeps me going. Tomorrow I'm visiting my sister and I told her to make sure her yoga mat was ready because I wanted to share a few days of yoga with her in hopes she'd get hooked like I am. Happy August friends!
Thanks dear so much for the sunday love latter. I'm glad to hear that you three are together, stronger, that your mum is getting better by day. And I'm sorry for your loss... Wish you a good week ahead. Namaste 🙏
My third calendar with YWA and sometimes it feels like it never gets easier but it's never impossible. A daily challenge to get the engine going. I wanted to quit today but I pushed through because I found what felt good!
20 weeks pregnant here but I refuse to do anything but YWA! No planks or ab work for me today but other than that was able to make it through the whole video with very few modifications. Excited to start the August calendar!
Well , the transitions weren’t as smooth as Adriene’s more of a scrabble for this aged yogi, but managed it, got there in the end. Love ,good wishes and peace from UK to all you fellow yogis out there. Hopefully these bad times will soon be over 🙏💕🌞
Agreed! That was a tougher one for this older beginner type.
Older beginner here too but at least we are here!
I am a 16 year old yogi and I struggled with the transitions too! but I found my love and peace despite my clumsiness and I’m so glad u did too! Sending lots of love back 💕
Feeling achy today & unbalanced stopped the video at 23 mins but persevered and glad I did 😊 now feel accomplished and chilled 😴lying in shavasanna listening to much needed rain in Oz.
Hi Adrienne, I’m here for June 2022 Energize Calendar. Love this video! It was fun, energetic and a proper workout. I come back to this one a lot as it is a good measure as to how much I’ve improved each time. Please make more challenging 40 min videos like this. Thank you for all that you do. Namaste🙏💕
Had to slow the roll to .50 playback speed... and giggled at the sound of it as Adriene helped kick my butt into strength. Thank you, Adriene! I also had the added benefit of kitty helpers: tiny girl brought me her stock to fetch and the big guy ensured I had plenty of obstacles to challenge me. We love your show!
I have been doing YWA (using the calendars mostly) almost every day since December, and I love it; it always feels so good. I had done yoga on and off for years but never made it a daily practice. I had such an amazing moment when doing this video...I was able to do crow pose for a few seconds. I never dreamed I would be able to do that, nor have I been specifically towards that particular pose in any way. It just goes to show that regular yoga practice really does build that strength and connection of energy to all-of-a-sudden be able to do the "hard" stuff that you never thought you could do. Adriene, you facilitate the building of these skills (and not just skills but the thoughts & feelings & wholeness) so easily/gradually/lovingly. You may never see this comment but know how you are truly admired, appreciated, and are making a difference for real people! You have a true gift.
For Embody day 13, I went with the sequence scheduled on FWFG. It reminded me that I need to challenge myself with such practices. Anyways, just wanted to check in here with everyone. I hope your practice goes well. 525 days in a row.
Hi William! I haven't tried any of those practices yet. Typically, my practice is early in the morning, yet I did an evening practice today. It was right on time as usual. Thanks for checking in with us here. 🦋❤🦋
Thanx for this note. It’s confusing as there is 2 practices for strength. I’m doing this one and ya catching me up William -its Day 621 of continuous yoga for me! Great to hear someone on the same journey! Des Vancouver BC
@@LimeyTheDramaQueen I won't catch up so long as you promise to make it to the mat each day. It is a long way down now.
I've recently gotten back into the practice but figured following along with Cultivate in August would cement the daily habit :) The longer practices tend to be difficult for me (this was no exception) but I kept at it and now I fell ready for the day!
Did this one today and loved the way you "sneaked in" the scissors in the end when I thought we were done!

Here again for June 2022 Energize. The practice flew by and I still got surprised by how you snuck us into crow pose. Getting stronger and even lasted longer than 0.5 seconds in that pose! You’re a wonderful guide. The journey IS the reward! 🙏🏻
I`'ve been doing yoga with Adriene almost daily for two and a half months. Today I felt so strong throughout my practice, stronger than I've ever felt before and it really surprised me. Thank you Adriene for guiding me in this journey.
I will definitely be redoing this video many times in the future :)
Valery Garza hey so did u start yoga with adriend with random videos or from the scratch with 30 day challenge?
I put down the weights and found my practice again with Adriene. I always walk away from yoga and it always calls me back. I digress, feeling super strong.
Awesome start to the August calendar! I'm actually on day 35 on yoga every day today and I feel so much stronger than when I started! Some poses were tricky but the whole thing felt very doable which is crazy. I'm getting so close to holding a crow now, I can get both legs up for about 2 seconds before I fall but I know that one day I'll get it.
Starting this new month of yoga with a practice I had already done, but it's amazing to see the improvements given by daily practice. Love you Adriene thank you for pushing us to our limits and becoming able to overcome them
Greetings from Italy ❤️
For the first time, I actually didn't have any last final movements that I wanted to take before shavasana! I said aloud, "Nope! You filled me up!" What a full and exhilarating practice. There were multiple moments in which I was ready to go into a certain pose, and then you led us right into that pose! Thank you!
Thank you Adriene ☀️

See you tomorrow 🧘🏻♀️

It is the first time I am trying the YWA calendar and I am looking forward to all these great classes! Wishing you all a happy cultivate august!
this was a fantastic practise! I had the soft sound of rain outside and I felt truly connected and in the moment! Thank you! Have a wonderful day beautiful people!
This sixty something year old slowed it down to .75 since I was having trouble keeping up once we got to the flow. So glad I did because I was really able to dig into it and pretty much do all of it. Adding this one to my favorites! So thankful for this community
Mary Anne thank you for posting. I am 65 and have been having such a hard time with the June calendar. I didn’t know I could slow down the playback. I’m so enthused to try this practice today at 75 speed. I still expect it to be a challenge but I think it might be doable.
Thanks for the tip. I’m 65 and June has been a struggle. Lookin forward to trying it at 75 speed and hoping that is is doable
Game changer
Yoga with Adriene has become a habit for me. I started when I had to stay at home as lockdowns were imposed in our country when the pandemic started in March 2020. I'm still at it now. Thanks, Adriene! You don't know how much you have been part of what's keeping me sane, healthy, and strong :)
Feeling stronger today and noticing I’ve evolved with today’s repeat of this fave YWA. Hooray! Hope you all are feeling Embodied this March 2022 💓〰️〰️✨
I feel like the whole world is gripped in fear right now; angry and uncertain. When you said at the start of this practice that we were about to fix all that was wrong with the world I knew it was going to be great! As long as there are good people putting good things into a bad world I know there is hope. Thank you, Adriene.
Whew! I managed to get through twelve-and-a-half minutes of this beast but had to bow out after that, hahaha. I'll be here tomorrow though, trying my best to get to thirteen minutes, at least! Thank you, Adriene.
Welcome to Move, we are really moving through march with this one!
A really good intense and varied practice. I felt demotivayed today and cldnt follow it properly in places but will def get back to it when in a better frame of mind. And proud of myself for sticking with it. Feeling better for having done it and her jokes lightened me up. 😀
Just finished too, very unmotivated after finding out my kid as covid which means I can't work this week and after 2 weeks of being slow, this week was finally booked up, but no. Anyway, this practice lifted my spirits! Thanks Adrien!
Woo!! That blew any lethargy away. Sending best wishes and salutations to you and your mum for her continued recovery. Have a beautiful day 😊 💕💓💕
This was amazing! I've sort of had an accidental month off from yoga, I just fell out of the habit and kept procrastinating it but today I managed it! I'm so proud of myself for getting on the mat and with one of the longer videos as well! I feel great and I can't wait to do more tomorrow! Thank you so much Adriene!
Can anyone recommend more of Adrienne’s videos with this level of intensity? Love her soothing stuff, but I’m having trouble creating a list of her longer sessions that bring the heat.
This video is part of a playlist for intermediate yoga. Go to her playlists, it is pretty far down, but it's there. You can save a full playlist fyi
There's also playlists by length
The way flamingo did not occur was so necessary to my ongoing de-WASP-ification and shedding of perfectionism. THANKS TEACH
As I finished this practice and said, "Thank you, Adriene. Namaste," I imagined how many hundreds of thousands or millions (?!) of people wish you that each and every day as they practice with your videos. That is a lot of beautiful energy flowing your way!! Even better, after practicing with you for several years, I know you receive it, allow it to flow through, and send it right back out into the world. Thank you for creating such a magical practice and community!!
Adriene, thank you for your love for people and the practice. I am new to yoga (6 months in) and I have grown exponentially! I look forward to this month of new growth. Today highlighted some challenges I get to overcome. I loved it. Thank you! See you tomorrow
Build - Day 2 done ✅ 🌞 remembered doing this practice for June's calendar Courage & really enjoyed. Namaste 🙏🏻 😊💕
I thought this one looked familiar, I was also doing the courage calendar. It’s great to know there are people around the world doing the same thing I am :)
I've enjoyed the last two Move practices so much, they seemed geared to my mood and physical needs. Also I am enjoying seeing and feeling the change in myself. What she said the reward being in the way one persists when the going is hard. Namaste fellow yogis😘Definite mood elevator.
So I'm back on YWA after about 3/4 months away. It was good to loosen the body. It's my intention to not stop half way through. I seem to manage a great two weeks and then drop off. 🤞🏾 I smash through August as it's holiday time.
You got this! We'll be here with you
Embody day 13 (day 71) 💗 I loved this practice so much, and I was able to do my first full crow without falling, I'm so happy! I hope to see you all tomorrow, Namaste!
Congratulations 👏
Day #1 of cultivate : I had quite a few distractions (had to take a pee break and bc of a storm the power went out lol) but i still managed to finish. I was so relaxed and present that i didn’t realize i basically did multiple pushups today. Looking forward to showing up for myself for the rest of the month
Today was the day I finally took off in crow! So proud! Thanks for being a part of my journey. I started TRUE on January 2 and have made time for YWA or public class every day since. Thanks for helping me reprioritize and grow in 2018!
I have no idea how because back in the spring I couldn't do more than 20-25 mins of practice but I did this entire video start to finish and felt strong! Wobbly, but strong :)
This was such a fun practice! I got nervous that it would be really hard, but every moment was a delight. I also really needed to hear that the journey and the process are the rewards! Thank you for that wisdom that I can carry off the mat today.
I did this practice yesterday in the garden of my house in Scotland and it was beautiful. I love a strong practice with some Warrior! And I managed to do Crow for a couple of seconds for the first time. But the most special bit was at the very end, when I was lying on my back doing the final stretches and looking up into the blue sky, and saw an osprey wheeling overhead. It was very special.
This senior yogi had such fun with this practice. I stayed curious for another full class. To see myself through to the end Adriene, I matched your breathing, keeping it slow. After a while I did skip the vinyasa flow and went straight to download dog for a little peddle and it felt so good. I got really into the moment and forgot the time and we were soon into that yummy cool down. My energy and flexibility are improving, you’re working your magic Adriene 😃🙏 see you tomorrow on the mat for Stress Melt, Move is proving to be fun, I think I’ll follow through this calendar 😊 🧘🏼♀️🧘🏻♀️🙏💕
Gill, I’m a little unsure of how to get moving again. I’m pretty sure it’s 90% mental and 10% physical (migraine, sciatic). I’ve been cheering you on though from the sidelines! I hope to get back into the flow with you again!
I have been worrying about your pain demons Laura, realising the last few days were maybe a bit too much of a challenge and hoping you could find some gentle yoga to substitute and keep you happy 🙏 Today’s practice may tempt you because Adriene has her comfy gear on which is a good sign for no vinyasa flows and I think she was sending you vibes to get on the mat 😂 ! So I’m sending you good vibes too and some 💕 maybe you’ll give it a go and just breathe deep 🧘🏼♀️🙏
@@gillsmith6740 Gill, I burst into tears reading your message. Yes, you’ve got it exactly. Thank you so much for your compassionate understanding ♥️ I felt so touched and cared about.
I think had I not been carrying the demons this week, I might have taken myself less seriously. I was making very dramatic statements about my abilities and “progress” (or lack there-of). I’d forgotten I’m happier when progress is not a part of the equation. When I’m just trying to stay safe, and move at the same time, that’s what feels good.
I’m a special Ed teacher and I always tell my students they don’t have to be better than they were before they just have to “be”. I need to take my own advice.
I am sending you a hug and I am so happy to know Adriene in comfy clothes is waiting for me tomorrow morning!
Thank you for turning my month around 🖤🌈💚🍀
Thank you for that lovely hug 🤗 ! And you got it exactly right too. Whenever my pain takes over, I go for the comfort I get from Adriene’s yoga and swap for a gentle practice. It’s all about a daily practice to stay connected, I couldn’t miss a day. Thankfully I’m lucky I’m in control of my meds at the moment which has helped me through the last few days. I’m so happy to get your reply, thanks Laura and to hear about your students, they need your strength and positivity, that’s amazing. 🧘🏼♀️🧘🏻♀️💕
I am very interested, what do you call senior? x
Loved this practice! And why I love monthly playlists - I probably wouldn’t have found this video if it hadn’t been on this month’s playlist
EMBODY | March 13, 2022 | 💞 So great to come back to this one, it's been a while! It's such a creative flow, and even though it's challenging and makes us sweat, it feels like it flies by. I really notice the strength I've built in my legs since the last time we played in this one. I swapped the inversion for a supta baddha konasana today to honour my monthly cycle - connecting again with my word of the year: Attuned. 🙏🧘♀
Embody Day 13, whew that got me sweating, I felt a bit stronger in my crow practice and successfully got one toe off the ground! Building strength today and feeling good! Namaste 💙🙏😊
Cultivate - Day 1… Love this practice and perfect way to my Sunny Sunday…
Feeling strong & finding some grace in my practice at last. 💕😊🙏 xxx
THANKYOU, Adriene. I loved that! That's the end of June 2023... Looking forward to Expand for July 2023 xxx
Literally the best day since I remember. I got a scholarship ($$$), had great fun with my students, went shopping (buy one get one free!) and new Adriene's Vinyasa sequence. Thank you, my dear, for making my day even more perfect. Thank you!
+Katarzyna Strogulska Enjoy your day! I'm wishing days like the one you are having!
day 11 of energize - june 2022. had some hesitation about doing a "strength" practice at 10 pm, but wow this video was fantastic. got some heat in the body without straining myself, just flowing with that fire. my body and blood feel great after this practice. very glad I made it here today. namaste ❤️🔥
Thanks Adriene, it's a fantastic yoga class. Sweating, sweating and sweating, I'm full of energy after this yoga practice. If you want to build up strength, this 40 minutes class is especially good for you. I like the twist chair pose transition to high lunge pose, it help me to build up stability and balance.
Who are with me on Day two YWA September 2020? What is your favorite pose?
Hope you enjoy the practice. See you tomorrow. Namaste.
Even the hardest workouts feel like a wonderful breeze with you. That 40 mins went by fast! Thank you Adriene. Namaste
I remember how I got confused the first time where to turn and which leg to lift up, now it was more clear to me😊. Managed to do all the moves to the end. I am outside, sun is shining, little breeze and little birds are singing🐦🐦🐦, Wishinga beautiful day to all of you, Namaste 💚
I had to rewind that part the first time 😂
